Sheepshead , the fish you need to set the hook in before they bite. Don't put your finger near an oyster toadfish mouth.

I just found your page. I’m from Gulfport. Novice fisher here, would learn to love more. I see you’re by ingalls here. I don’t have a kayak with pedals but I really want to catch some reds and trout in my kayak or canoe. Any pointers?

Let brother know I come down to pascagoula about twice a month to fish and I live just above Montgomery. Love the area to fish. Mostly after flounder and mangrove.

Had a question about one of your old sheepshead kids from back in Mississippi. You used a stringer to hold your fish. Anything special about it or just a large stringer. Wondering because of the teeth.
