It’s so great to see these two women together again. Lillian and Brenda are two very nice people who were at the top of their game back in the day. The Exciters were just what their name meant. Vocal powerhouses and they knew how to move as well.

One of my all-time favorites. " incredible performance" Where has the music gone. I watched the half time show on the Superbowl and i wanted to puke. Can imagine if the Exciters were performing? The place would have exploded. Dr Doo Wop.

I saw them at Madison Square Garden felt forum as part of a Richard Nader's R&R revival that also featured Danny & Juniors, Cleftones, Lloyd Price and the first reunion of Dion & the Belmont's, in June of 1972. The Exciters went on first and they brought the house down!
I must have not known about that show or I would have been there for sure. It’s a 15 minute walk from where I live. Must have been a great show.
@@drummerc1795 I was only 15 , it was my first concert & it was surreal! After that concert I went from listening to the Doors, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd, to listening to Dion & Belmonts, Passions, and Del-Vikings!

It's SO WONDERFUL!! when singers keep 100% of their vocal ability decade after decade, sometimes sounding better than they did in their youth, Brenda proves this right here, 6 DECADES!! have passed since she first stepped into the studio and laid down these words and now she stands upon the stage like those 60 years have not even happened and lays down these words once again and acts like it's a stroll in the park 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Recorded in New York City in October, 1962. The group was from Queens, N.Y.
@@drummerc1795 I think he's asking about the venue of this particular show performance.
I think it was recorded in 2010 and may have been in Atlantic City with the intent of including it in one of the PBS tv fundraisers but ultimately left out of the show for some reason.
Fantastic, just one thing and I don't want to "offend" but to extend her life she should take some weight off she's such a awesome singer we lost too many beautiful singers lately like Olivia Newton to cancer
