I got my tinnitus from a movie theater. I wish I had known to check the decibel levels back then.
One thing to add, apple watches have a decibel monitor and will alert you automatically when it's too loud. I've found that very useful.

Hi Julian, I wanted to thank you for your videos, I'm 21, when I was 16-18 I isolated myself in music because family things, I used them a lot regularly at high volumes, until now that I am 21 ive notice my T, is like a forest full of crickets, and at dead silence i can notice an intermittent eeeee, I panicked and started searching, and it was full of stories of suicidal or addicted to antidepressants persons, but then i found your channel and it helped me a lot, thank you very much

It was a pleasure working with you. It helps so much being able to enjoy concerts and cinemas etc without having to worry about sound levels. With musician's earplugs you are safe.

Hi Julian, many thanks for that advise. Do you know by a chance if there is a way to measure the decibels coming out of a headset? As I use them quite often. And maybe this other question is for a doctor but do you know if decibels matter the same way when they come from a headset or just a normal speaker? Thanks again and sorry for bothering you.

julian please doon't go in this direction. It doesn't matter. If something is too loud for us we will feel it. Sounds don't cause tinnitus, you know that very well. Let's focus on how to regulate the nervous system to make the tinnitus go away.

The physical part is also important, like releasing tension from the neck and jaw. And some tinnitus comre from a physical damage, not from the nervous system.

Actually loud noise can be a common trigger for tinnitus. It's always good to stay safe with loud noise levels. It's amazing that there are not health warnings at loud gigs and cinemas. Best wishes, Julian

@@Estadisponibleparami All tinnitus is due to the nervous system. It doesn't matter how you got it. After any injury, the body heals. After that, every symptom is in the nervous system.

@@Estadisponibleparami In addition, neck and jaw tension is another symptom like tinnitus. Both are an effect and not a cause.
