I see how hard you are working on the bags and want to give you kudos! Very good work! Now get rid of the donate boxes. You have accomplished a great deal. Be proud of yourself!
First of all - as a fellow apartment dweller - THANK YOU! I can't tell you how many people don't think twice about cranking up their vacuum cleaners at all hours of the night and early morning!!!! I'm going to watch the rest of the video now! 😍
Good mindset you are doing for yourself we all hang onto clothes that don't fit & when it gets too much of what we are not wearing it just doesn't make sense. Great job!!
Wow! Glad you’re aware and working on the negative self-talk, because what I saw was you getting A LOT done! I love how it all ended up fitting in your suitcase. When I was spending 2+ years downsizing the enormous amount of stuff my in-laws left behind when they died, I had to tell myself on more than one occasion that “a step in the right direction is a step in the right direction.” Some days the steps were smaller than others, but they all helped. You are doing a great job!
Well done on emptying that huge tote. The vacuum bangs are a game changer. Wishing you and Kelly a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and peaceful 2025
You are amazing and have accomplished so much, in such a short time. We all can see how confident you are becoming and how your light is starting to shine again. 💜 (Also,I need those hanging space bags!!)
Think of all the space you saved by being able to put all that stuff in your suitcase! Excellent job. Merry Christmas to you and Kelly. Love your cute little tree.❤️🎄🎄
Awesome work Libby I did the same thing about a year ago I got rid of all of my smaller clothes and I felt so good afterwards. My thing now is if I don’t wear it for that season I’ll donate it. Merry Christmas to you and your son 🎄🎁❤️
That tote is big enough to bath in. I keep some clothes one size down from what I am now. Basic styles not fashion trend specific because I'm waiting for a hip replacement so it's likely that I will lose some weight afterwards as I become more activeagain. But apart from that I've actually got rid of all the things I was trying to fit into. I'm 68 and it's not worth the mental anguish. 😄❤
I have had bags like that. Zip up most of the way. Leave a small hole and put the vacuum to that! It sucks out the air but you have to be quick with sealing the last bit 😂❤
For the fuzzy socks and fleece leggings, you may want to implement Dana K White's Container Concept. Ask yourself, "How much space do I have to devote to this category of things? OK, that's my limit. " Then put in your favorites first, and donate the rest.
For the items you've been keeping because you might start wearing them, you may want to use Dawn the Minimal Mom's guideline: if it's not a hard 'yes,' then it's a 'no.'
Ohhhh my goodness Libby!!!! You had me laughing so much I had tears leaking out of my eyes! 🤣Maybe I'm wrong, I remember that happening back in the 80s, RLOL, but shouldn't the air be rolled out from the top (the closure side) to the bottom. That way it is forced out through the vents?? That is how I've used the non-vacuum sealed bags. However, those bags have the directions of use printed on the bags but i couldn't tell if yours did.
Durning covid I bought a lot of clothes from a consignment shop hoping to lose a lot of weight well 4 years later and I've lost 75lbs so far with help with the weight loss shots 95 lbs more to my weight goal cant wait til spring to see where I'm at and how much those clothes fit me. My first knee replacement surgery is February 21st, which has been my main reason for this weight-loss. So in the spring I'll be doing a big clothes decluttering myself
I'm 25 lbs down on Wegovy cuz I need a knee replacement. My closet is full of clothes that do not fit me. I'm putting a bunch in trash bags after the holiday and donating it.
I wish you would count and tell us how many items you're donating. When I used to declutter, I would always count and it would make me feel like so much better. Example...... 15 items... I don't have to deal with, wash, fold or try to find a place to fit them anymore. I think, once you start counting you'll get used to it and it just makes you feel better and better about everything you donate. 🎄 Merry Christmas 🎁
Can't go by clothing sizes anymore.. sizes nowadays keep getting smaller. Im 32 and I'm the same size I was in middle/high school. I always wore the same size in every brand but now it's like 3 to 4 different sizes but they're all the same size.

Love the way you talk to yourself to keep a positive mindset 🩷 You've come so far and got mentally stronger 💪

I love your self-talk, letting go of clothes that are a size or two smaller is so hard for me!
Love the Dino wreath!
Even if the roll bags didn’t shrink as much as a vacuum bag, they did still reduce the contents and will keep them dry and visible.🙌🏻
You’re doing great . Love your little puppy
I think he wanted a bite if your fruit😄
Girl, you are rockin' it!!! Have a very Merry Christmas!!!❤❤❤😊

As you declutter, you are more free...You have room in your mind to think of other things too
You can use the vacuum cleaner to suck out the air. works awesome
Yayyyyy!!!¡❤❤
🥳💃
Next time you go to the dollar tree, check and see if they have some of the vacuum seal bags. I’ve gotten a handful there and they worked pretty well.

I would put everything thats going to your moms storage in that big bin And take it there. Merry Christmas.

I constantly donate clothes, I just don't need all of them I don't go fancy places. You have to be realistic
❤

I could never get those bags to work.
My mom can't either so I'm hoping they last!
If you aren’t going to wear it. Toss it. You don’t need exs and dad’s stuff. People are pack rats. Takes up space vacuum bags or not
It seems you might be experiencing some confusion while working on these large tasks.
There was donate, keep & store at Mom's piles. Seems a pretty standard, successful declutter. 😊
