- I'm cage Warriors Lightweight MMA champ and today we will be looking at some incredible padwork training from one of my favourite boxers ever. Noaya Inoue. He is possibly the biggest inspiration for my liver shot
Inoue is my favorite fighter, his punches are pure perfection, all of them, and he's developing a great ring IQ too which only comes from experience. I think when all is said and done he'll go down as an all time great p4p
Inoue is one of the best technical boxers of all time, Inoue needs 3 or 4 fights a year every fight makes him better, there is to much politics and fighters do not need to rust because of inactivity.
Probably the most useful and best boxing advice Ive heard in years.
Actually Inoue’s biggest weapon is his defense.
bro you are such a natural at coaching. much appreciated!!!!!!
Inoue is just too skilled...people talk about his power, but inoue himself says his KOs come from his timing, precision, and sharpness of his punches. Idk why people push this narrative of him not being good defensively. He read punches very well, he rarely gets hit with big shots. From all the fights and sparring footage i've seen, he can anticipate punches and block them with his elbows, gloves, or roll with them very well. Only time he really got caught with big shots was the first donaire fight, but even in that fight, after donaire broke his orbital in the 2nd rd and had inoue seeing double, inoue went back to his jab to outbox donaire in the 3rd and 4th. Inoue has great defense and a great jab. And offensively, he's like canelo Alvarez, he has great combinations and he can fight well in the pocket too.
he gets hit less compared to everyone else on the pound for pound list.
@@cookiebot3369 except for bivol...but yea inoue's defense is up there, and let's not forget he's an aggressive offensively minded fighter. If he was a defense first type of fighter like devin haney, which he could be if he wanted, he would get hit way less.
Loma gets hit less
@@II-wn3kz match against Lopez and Linares didn’t say so
@@cookiebot3369 Lopez didn’t land one shot that hurt loma, and linares was a flash knockdown Floyd has been hit with harder shots that buckled him, loma never been buckled
You make an excellent point of how inoue goes through his punching technique slowly. It’s like a dance choreographer learning steps to a dance routine. They go through their steps slowly and repeatedly until it becomes automatic and a natural reaction without thinking about it! In other words training for muscle memory! That’s why inoue is so precise and accurate! All the greats do this. You will even see mayweather when he trains that he throws his punches slowly and then slowly builds up his speed once he gets a natural feel on his shots!
Can you do a video on footwork for generating power, like tank does.
Goat
Nice...
Do one about usyk and bivol
Usyk may be the most comfortably technical boxer I've seen. Everything he does is so smooth and just perfect.
What's with your eyes?
Good observation.. I also learned a lot, although, I don't really do it 😅
Sparring most likely
George, you better sell potatoes then talking about boxing..............🤣🤣🤣🤣
