Years ago they had a 50th birthday party for me. I have a decent rock garden in the backyard , so I got out some our rigs to drive. One of guys broke a bunch of stuff on my rig and didn't say anything.
Did bug me. I knew he was completely inexperienced driving anything offroady, much less a crawler.
Would've been nice if he said, Sorry, I think it broke" , but he didn't say anything.
Quiet as a church mouse, lol! As long as the low speed control is there, I'm good with 2700kv. Definitely don't want to go 4s with 2700kv but it does give you the option of running 2s and still having excellent speed when compared to an 1800kv or even 2300kv. Can't wait to see the new electronics! 👍

My nephew is 7 and he’s a better driver than I am and I’m 38 lol he knows which trucks are meant for the type of driving but he’s been driving since he was like 2. I’ll let him drive pretty much everything I own and so will my brother! It’s pretty awesome!

You sure you don’t work for element part time doing testing/torture. But that is how my grandson rock cross. He’s five he’s a little heavy fingered. Lol 2700 KV that’s definitely a basher. Set up. Testament to the quality of your electronics into element for building a quality unit.

I was being intentionally grabby and jerky to stress the motor!
So a big issue I have with this kind of testing is that this is not what's gets a motor and esc hot.. it's when you are under a bunch of load in binds and slow crawling.. add to that most people add a bunch of weight especially the people looking to run these esc motor combos.. makes a huge difference from 5lbs to 10lbs..
I can assure you that this was more stress in the ways i was looking for. I already did the slow crawl testing. I needed to test the "throttle grabber" for heat soaking.
Turning a high KV motor at low RPMs gets hotter than anything else is this correct
There's a point where high speed causes more heat. Depends on the setup and motor design.
Another crawl Master esc with numbers closer to the silent assassin esc i hope. 70amps is sweet!
The AM32 ECS's come in 40amp and 80amp. Holmes only offers the 40amp version currently, which is plenty sufficient for the motor on crawlers, but the BEC is better on the 80amp versions. Silent assassin is another version of the AM32. I can't wait for Holmes to offer the 80amp version. I'll buy one immediately lol

I just want a quiet esc, that can run my stubby team spec 2250kv or stubby 2040kv on 4s without worrying it will fry if i have try to power up a large rock at wide-open throttle for a extended period of time while looking for traction. Wow long winded just writing that. Lol 😂

Rock racing was already a thing. Usually using a Ryft, Wraith, Rock Rey, or similar rig.

Man How do i get rid of the ESC whining sound ? I just replaced my electronics in WPLc24. I'll live with it if i have too. 30a esc, stock battery, hotrc 6ch receiver.

RC Rock Bouncing is my thing! King of Hammers 🔨 Bounty Hills, U4. I have two Ryft kits, one set up single speed, big sensored inrunner waterproofed for snow, muck, sand, etc. Rfty ver2.0 has a 2 speed, a full-size servo for shifting! Rear steer, 2200kv out runner for technical bashing / trails. 🤔 Actually, I lied anything with a motor and or Wheels is my thing! 😜 🛻🏎️🚤✈️🚁🚀
