You could just get a Ninebot Max escooter for less money that can go faster and farther. My Max can reach 20mph stock and go up to 40 miles on one charge, and it cost me a little over $800 new.

Honda didn't become known for its compact cars because "they're Hondas", they're great choices for anyone looking for a cheap reliable car. Unfortunately you're probably right, but the handles probably just there for lifting it into the back of a car or up some stairs. I can't really see why you would carry it long distance.

@@smileyguyz Sadly you will always have to carry this a good distance.
First you'll have to get it outside and then set it up. Then you drive it to the other side of town to go to work.
Now you have to pack it up, haul it inside the building and to a spot you have to put it where some idiot doesn't just walk out with it. . Even if you work on the ground floor at Burger King you're talking 100 feet of carrying it at a minimum 4 times a day.
The average person that something like this is going to appeal to, let's face it, are women and the average young male, which are both farely weak in strength and endurance lving in a larger city. They're going to be carrying this allot further than 100 ft each way.
To put it in perspective, I hae a laptop in my bag with accessories that weights 15 lbs strapped over my shoulder and a doufle bag that weighs 20 lsbs. After walking with it from the parking lot to our office, the laptop strap is digging into my shoulder and starting to hurt, and I've switched hands on the doufle bag multiple times. I no longer carry my doufle bag on that walk and just leave it in the car until I get ready to start work, which then I can just drive a vehicle to my car to pick it up.

This sucks, the old suitcase Honda with the gasoline engine is awesome. It goes a lifetime on a tank of fuel and never needs repair. This electric version is no better than the rest of the electric junk out there and has an expiration date on the battery.

I don't think the idea is to carry this all day. You ride it from a train station or bus stop the last mile or two to work and then carry it inside. It's not all that much heavier than a bicycle, and it's less awkward to carry than a bicycle.
