In the video I talked about million dollar businesses that I know personally that use a setup similar to this. And I say at the end of the video, that if I wanted to grow to a million dollar company, this would be my go to setup on multiple trucks.
We run a 14 ft box truck..2 mowers, basket, 2 wips, 2 back packs 2 trimmers, assorted hand tools. Turn key and go..awesome for productivity. In Connecticut
@@rontopping2048 carry 2 large plastic cans and the route is structured where we have properties with woods that we loose it in. We dont catch a lot of grass after June/July
The NPR box trucks are great for the right applications but they do have several drawbacks. expensive, high insurance cost, gas hogs, and they can be difficult in traffic compared to pickup with Ramp Rack.
It is a Toro chute deflector but I took it off and went with the lever style blockers. I've used electronic and cable chute blockers and both don't last as long. Cables stretch or freeze up and motors burn out. But it all comes down to personal preference and type of usage. I ordered the blocker and bag through my Toro dealer. They have a catalog. I have no idea what the part numbers are. I just go in and say, can you order this...
Hey man. Great setup. Where did you get that support for the trimmer rack to make it lower. I connected mine straight to the rail system, and now it’s too high to reach it.
We don't bag grass. But if we needed to get rid of organic materials, we would just put it in a bag and put it in the corner of the bed. There's a lot of extra room in the bed with the ramp rack.
Stealing what? The racks are all lockable, and you can put locks on the ramp to keep it closed like on open trailers. You can't take anything off including the ramp, while it's closed.
@@tariemiles1808 ohhhh 😕 Well if it's kept in locked storage... And ultimately you can't do anything without the rest that's still on the truck. The ramp by itself is useless, without having the right things to attach it to.
Naylor, Looks easy enough to remove and install. I just like running enclosed trailers so everything is out of the elements personally and I don't have to remove anything day and night when done or to get started unless needing a different piece of equipment. Also I am sure when your tires are wet it does slip and make it a little harder to get up ramp and into truck
I really enjoy watching your videos. Do you have any that gives tips on managing your crew without being there hands on? This will be the first year I’m not working with my employees instead they’ll be out by themselves. If so what is the url 😎 thanks
Thank you! I have not crossed that bridge myself yet. I have managed employees my whole life but haven't sent a lawn crew out on their own yet. Still looking for the right person to be a crew leader.
I would rather have an Isuzu npr. Keep equipment secure and no need for enclosed trailer plus a ramp rack. Also not enough snow to justify a snow plow in va beach, or much of the south East unless you’re doing just commercial
What makes it a million dollar setup?

@@LawnCareRookie Let's do it!
Sounds like a plan! Businesses have to constantly evolve if they want to stay profitable and open for business. Great video Naylor! 👊

That’s my 2022 set up👍👍 Beautiful. Saw the B&B video where Blake interviewed you with this set up.
THAT IS A COOL SETUP!
This man is professional as they come.
Would you recommend upgrading from a 1500 to a 25 or 3500 for the ramp rack? I run 36” and 52” Deere standers.
Absolutely. It will be tough on the leaf springs of the f150. Unless you get airbags or something to beaf up suspension.
Real good stuff, that works for you !
Really well thought out. Great video, Naylor.

Theramprack.com sells them
Man That Looks great For A One Man Setup one Day It Will Be Me Thank you for this information 😎🤙
How do you collect leaves? Do you put them in a trailer or do you have a leave truck and vacuum? Also who makes your hoodie and logo?
Most properties are mulched or blown into surrounding woods. And some are bagged with the bagging system on my grandstand.
How do you dispose of grass clippings if your beds tied up with a mower while mowing

Love your videos, have a great fall season. We are all done fall clean up here in Ontario.
I like it. How do you like those Toro's?
I love them!
I like the name bro. Great minds think alike lol
So how do you stop some one from stealing it???

@@LawnCareRookie no I was asking how do you stop someone from stealing the ramp rack once it is off your truck

I see that husqvarna push mower back there. You’ve had that a while now.
Yeah, the wheels are falling off, lol

I understand your points. And it's not slippery, even in the pouring rain.
