Back when I went to Japan with my classmates, I saw a CocoCurry shop and was like, "Yoooo. Simon and Martina really likes this place." So I ordered curry and started eating. And that was when I learned that CocoCurry uses peanut oil in their curry. The entire time I was like, "Oh my god, the FLAVOR and SPICE is on point." In reality, my body was trying to tell me that I was having an allergic reaction. The funny thing was that I did not notice it at all, even an hour later. I walked back to the hotel, took a shower, brushed my teeth etc.. And that was when I realized that my face was completely swollen. I ran to find the chaperones, and they told me to use my epipen. Me, being blind because my eyes were swollen shut, used the epipen upside down and stabbed the needle through my thumb. Blood was everywhere, I was crying, my teacher was trying to call the hospital, it was a mess. When I arrived at the hospital, the nurses were like, "Oh, what happened to her?" and my teacher had to tell them ,"She ate curry." (which is a very disappointing injury story) And then the nurses looked at my thumb, "What happened to her thumb??" Teacher: "She stabbed herself with an epipen." One of the nurses laughed. It was an experience, probably the best experience I had in Japan. Even though I was having an allergic reaction, the curry tasted really good. Note to self: Make sure to ask whether food have peanut/peanut oil, even if you probably think that it doesn't.
My husband and I were in Japan last month for our honeymoon. Thanks to this video and that you two talk about it so much. I made it a mission to make sure it was one of the first things we had there. We had it 3 times and it was our last meal before we flew back home. I want to open up my own chain in Toronto so I can share the Coco love
And your amazing international menus))) even tho I know your menu in Japanese well enough my friends that come with me typically struggle even with English so I bring em to CoCoCurry where they can look up in Russian)
That’s great to know. I heard that coco curry uses peanut oil to make it, but is canola oil also used? I’m asking due to me being extremely allergic to canola oil
(It took me forever to get the reply box to let me type! OMG) We were staying in Chiba, went to the Meiji temple, and trolled around the shops and eateries. I love Japan so much. I love that you guys share your adventures. I started watching your stuff back in 2009 on a nostalgia trip missing Korea (we were stationed in Seoul from 2006-2007). Your channel kept me feeling like I was more in the loop over the last near decade on how things are in Korea. I am moving back to Seoul next Thursday to teach English! Thank you for helping me keep myself in the loop, even if you are in Japan now (which is awesome!), I still look at your old videos to refresh myself on things.
Yep! Though with the time difference, it will be Friday in Korea when I arrive. I'm sad that you guys aren't still there. I would have loved to meet you guys. But maybe someday in Japan! Or, you know, if you come back to visit! (I will be watching the crowds for Martina's pink hair regardless). How's the Japanese learning coming? I'm trying to learn more Korean myself, but it's hard (for me) without the immersion aspect.
Whenever I slip back into my state of not eating, I just watch your videos. You two have been helping me with my ed recovery for about 3 years now, thank you.
Dear Simon and Martina, Thank you so much for introducing to my new addiction. I too am convinced that coco curry has cocaine in it. However, unlike you two, i am unable to find company to eat coco curry with. Please allow we wallow in my own self pity as I eat coco curry solo in one corner. Sincerely, Cococaine addict
I will never not miss them together but I understand we know nothing of behind the scenes… just know i love you both and hope for the best for you both. Know you were my drive to push my anxiety aside and try new things and i will forever be grateful to you both.
Don't think I've ever had Coco curry, but I fell in love with curry when I lived over there. I once went on a trip to Tokyo and that was practically all I ate. Since moving back Stateside, I hadn't been able to find a place that sold curry. I tried making it myself but it never got even remotely close to Japanese curry. A couple years ago a Japanese restaurant opened up in our town and actually had curry. I was almost in tears because it had been just over 10 years since I had last had curry.
Thank you so very much to @karmenguate and @Maria Becerra for the Spanish subtitles, as well as @oWooshyo and @Sara Cabitza for the Italian subtitles! Thank you :D
omggg seriously. You guys have convinced me to go to CoCo Curry the moment I land in Japan (if I ever get the chance to go...sob) "Let me see that rice get all hot and bothered with that cheese..." LOOOOLLLL was NOT a good idea to watch this without headphones
The history of the founder of Coco Curry would make you cry😢 The founder Mr. Munetsugu was an orphan and he was abused by adaptive father who was an alcoholic and poor. He had to eat weed because of poverty. He could attend school and do some parttime job only after his adaptive father died. He and his wife opened a cafe to serve his wife's homemade curry. It became Coco Curry. Mr. Munetsugu are supporting poor youth and many artists of classic music now.
I first tried Coco Ichibanya in Singapore few years ago & daym it's really addicting, I can't explain it, it's totally different from other curry taste. & once in a while you'll be craving to eat it again. simon's right the coco must means cococaine 🤣
Thank you so much to +Piniako for the Polish subtitles, as well as +hoolmaek and +Muac1 for the German subtitles! Let the world know how awesome CoCo Curry is!
My family and I visited Japan for the first time a couple days ago and the first thing we did was go to Coco Ichibanya Curry for lunch. We absolutely loved it! Wouldn’t have gone if it weren’t for your videos which I watch religiously. My parents ordered the set items. I decided to mix what the both of you get and ordered the beef curry with 200 g of rice, level 2 spice (yeah I know), tonkatsu, cheese, soft boiled egg, and garlic. I spent the majority of my lunch happily sharing my dish while also swatting away wandering hands! Thank you so much for this delicious recommendation, I have always wanted to try Coco Curry and it was beyond my expectations. I really look forward to the next time I go to Japan, I already miss it. Love from New York!!
Thank you for replying to my comment. It is such a big world & it is awesome when you can connect with others all over the world. I look forward to when your store is restocked, as you all have some awesome items I've seen in various videos that I would like to have. I'd like to ask a question. What would you be doing if you weren't doing UA-cam full-time? Do you see yourself doing UA-cam until you just can't anymore? I have only been following you all for about 6 months or so but I feel like I've been connected to you all for much longer than that. You all have an amazing relationship & I hope some day I can find someone who completes me like you all complete each other.
I wish CoCo Curry would spread more in the US. There are only 3 locations here and they are all in Cali (which I don't live in) so I just have to keep waiting for it to spread or when I visit Japan.
Hey Simon, thank you for not archiving or deleting these videos. I’m sure I’m not the only one who comforted watches your videos when they are depressed. I hope both of you are happier now and have found your separate peace
My wife and I were recently in Japan for the first time, and Coco Curry was the first meal we had there, thanks to your recommendation. It did not disappoint. We also introduced a friend (who was in Tokyo on business at the time) to it, as he had been going to British pubs with his workmates every evening before that. Suffice to say, he went back there before coming back to the UK.
You guys are my Heroes!! So nice to live vicariously through you two. Consumed Level 10's for 3 years, while stationed in Yokosuka with the Navy. Great video!
I have never been so thankful for Simon and Martina, but after this video I found out that Coco Curry was also in LA and my sisters and I are so addicted to it now after trying it. It's one of our favorite foods and without them I don't think I ever would have ever thought of trying it! Thank Simon and Martina! You guys are the best!
I first saw this video years ago and maybe about half a year ago just figured I would start making Japanese curry at home and love it so much, but recently during the process of moving googled to see if I could get some jcurry near where I live and found out they’re making a coco curry near where I live in Texas this winter and I’m super duper excited.
I came back from Japan last week. My boyfriend looked at me suspiciously when i told him we should try CocoCurry Out. NOW WE ARE BOTH ADDICTED. Sooooooooooooo yummy.
Your recommendations have never failed me. I really wanted to try this when I came to visit Japan, and It was so good we ate there twice. Mind you, we were only there for 2 weeks, so going to the same place twice meant that it had to be really good. Hands down the best curry I've ever had in my life. I still dream about it sometimes...
Same same! My boyfriend and I went to Coco Curry 3 times in our 12 day trip, and probably would have gone more if I didn't insist on trying other things at least once
Just eat it and chew while almost choking and throwing up. Thats how I learned to overcome the picky life and now I eat everything except paprika’s and peppers 😂
Omg I finally tried Coco curry here in Korean and let me just tell you it's the most magical thing I've ever eaten. I want to go back everyday and maybe even marry it Lol. If you ever find yourself in Korea and miss Coco curry then I'm here 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don’t know why I come back to this video so many times. 😅 I have at least watched this video over 10 times (showing it to my family first and then just rewatching it by myself). I think it’s partly because the food just looks so good. This is one of my favourite videos but this is not the only video I rewatch. All of your videos have such great rewatchability because you are so insanely funny and you show and explain literally the best food . I think you are the only channel I rewatch videos from and I think that just proves you are the best and my favourite UA-cam channel ever. 💕
Hi! I dont know if you have seen my comments but i think this is my third. I have been commenting on videos on which i have visited the franchise that you introduced to me via youtube. It’s such a surreal experience for me cause i have been watching you for 8 years and i’m actually in Korea right now. I’m literally sitting in CocoCurry right now and im so HAPPY. Thank you guys i love you guys so much
Omg you guys actually REPLIED IM GONNA CRY. I tried to order Martina’s recommendation but i think Korea is different 😂 the menu did not have the same amount of options and most of them were pre-assembled. So i went for the most popular option which was the creamy chicken curry with omelette it was so good omg. Honestly even sitting in the same type of cafe as you guys kinda made my day tbhh i’m hoping to go to Japan around the end of June - mid July ish or the beginning of May (still unsure yet) and i then i hope to sit in a coco curry and properly order Martina’s choice 😂😂😂 except the crazy amount of spice in it i think i would die 😂😂😂😂 thank you so much for replying! I really means alot to me cause i left a really long emotional comment on the Isaac’s toast video and i just really hoped that you read it cause idk i just wanted you guys to know that your audience really loves you no matter if you’re in Korea or Japan i’m sorry for rambling soo much T.T but thank you for always making videos and inspiring me to venture out myself and to try things alone because i struggle with enjoying experiences alone. I love you guys so much. ❤️
My husband and I tried many restaurants in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka and they were great... but we always ended up at CoCo Curry! We'd do a happy dance when we'd find one! lol I miss Japan!!!!!!!!!!!!! And CoCo Curry!
After my holiday in japan, London finally got a coco curry 😭. Can’t wait for things to go back to normal so I can have my coco fix! For now I’ll watch your video and get excited 🤣
I'm Japanese and Coco curry is definitely the best curry chain! Thank you for showing this hidden gem in Japan to all over the world! I always enjoy your videos!
That awkward moment when you're watching the sexy food part and someone walks in on you... I Can Explain ._. ... I Love Your videos!! Watching these videos make my day, you guys are amazing!
I was stationed at Misawa Airbase in northern Japan and my happy place... Was the CoCo Curry in Hachinohe. I still daydream about it 13 years later. Nothing like it!
Watching these videos make makes me so happy xD some days I really struggle to get myself out of bed and deal with life and live it to it's fullest, watching your adventures makes me really happy and pushes me to try new things :D
Idk why I'm so obsessed with this video. I've watched AT LEAST 10 times and I'm not joking. I think I'm visually addicted to coco curry even though I've never had it.
I'm going to Japan in 10 days and I'm already savoring this wonderful, magnificent, perfect curry already!!! There's something about it that makes it so special
last night i was scrolling around your old vids when you visited japan, and i thought, i was watching the old coco curry vid that i haven't watch and slept .. this morning, i just realized it was the new vid ... hohoho ... i was sooo early .. coco curry .. need to try it!
Dear simon and martina, I reccomend you to try golden curry, which is an instant curry paste that you can cook yourself, trust me it taste like coco curry. For me its even better, if you put the right amount of water and toppings that suites well.
Rewatching this for the like 100th time, now I've also had CocoCurry myself and it's so good so, basically crying right now.. I NEED MAH COCOCURRY. Totally agree with Martina, one can eat CocoCurry everyday. After I tried it the first time I ate it 4days in a row, didn't feel like anything else... Japan I miss you ❤
O man! I was around Shibuya for two weeks and heading back to NY tomorrow. I saw Coco curry but didn't get to try them. I did eat lot of Kobe beef, sushi, yakitori, izakaya, and etc. I wished I tried that curry now. Next visit! ;)
I went to Japan for the first time in 2016, after we landed in Tokyo and dropped everything off at our hotel, me and my buddy went to Roppongi Hills looking for something to eat, everything looked busy and we were starving so we ended up inside a Coco Curry we were standing in front of because it had seating and it looked fast. I am a notoriously slow eater so it was a big surprise when i devoured the dish in half the time my friend did. This Place is the truth. Absolutely delicious food and I will definitely be having it again when I go back. Great Vid!
I am one of many who went to Coco Curry because of you. I was in Nara, it was pouring, so much rain, so cold, I was frozen but delighted because of all the cute deer. I saw a Coco Curry. I knew Coco Curry would warm up my soul and save my poor little drowned feet. The food was even better than I expected but the restaurant wasn't warm so my feet stayed cold BUT THE CURRY. THE CURRY MY FRIENDS. IT WAS SO WORTH IT.
Fufufu, I'm in Tokyo now and can finally eat all of the Japanese food that Simon and Martina recommended!! XDD (Just ate the menchikatsu from Steak House Satou's, it was THE BOMB) Looks like Coco Curry is next on the list! XD
OMG you guys actually replied back so happy!! XD I went to Steak House Satou's during the Kichijoji Fall Festival a couple weeks ago and I only had to wait for about 15 min? Probably because there were more people watching the festival.
We also love Coco Curry! I lived in Okinawa for a while, and now live in San Diego, We frequently drive up to Los Angeles to have Coco Curry. My favorite is Cuttlefish with Kimchi Spice level 4. But I recently tried the Omelet with cuttlefish and kimchi, surprisingly egg goes very well with curry.
So my husband was jazzed to try Coco Curry the whole time we were in Japan last summer, because he knew that you guys recommended it (we love you both). Circumstances kept us from it until the second to last night on our trip. He was HORRIFIED that we didn’t go sooner, and wanted to eat at the same place the next day. I don’t know when I have ever seen him so excited about food??? We get home, people ask us about our trip, and he tells EVERYONE about Coco Curry. Amazon sells it, so he’s been dealing with his grief that way. I am planning our second trip (finish my current degree, I am giving myself a gift). His only input? “Make sure that we have Coco curry at least three times?” (Well, duh).
I was the same 😂😅 I had that dish 3 times in one week. I took a box curry roux home that lasted for 2 meals only :( Now I'll try to make my own. I made intensive research on bases, types of fats and spices. Hopefully it will turn out good. Not as good as Coco Curry though. Can't wait to go back to Japan! The food there was the best part of the trip.
My friend was stationed in Japan for a couple years, and when I asked him if he had heard about this place called CoCo Curry he went ecstatic explaining how much he loved that place. He then started questioning how I knew about it, so I had to let him in on this video ;p.
Japanese Curry is my favorite meal of all time my step mom is Japanese and I grew up eating it and it just makes me so happy, Curry with edamame and gyoza would be my last meal if I was on death row.
Are you sure it isn't an imposter ? According to the coco curry website, the only Coco Curries in the mainland USA are in California. You might be thinking of GoGo Curry or similar which isn't the same.
Vivi that was wild
Vivi ohmygahd glad ur fine! That was so intense XD
wow that could be a fanfiction...sorry it happened to you, glad you're so humorous about it
So sorry that happened to you! Yeah I could imagine using an epipen is actually really difficult when you can't even see properly...
Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened! It's a great memory though?
Anyone coming back here in 2021 just to feel the magic again?
Me! I love their videos! I'm glad they both seem to be doing well in 2022, but I do miss their content. Foodie YT videos are my favorite. :)
2022 to revisit these good times. I do miss their vids together. But I wish them both all the happiness in the world.
Cringe
They're building a coco curry in tsxas and I'm excited 😁
Almost 2023 and thats why Im here
We love CoCo Curry, and we want all of you to try it. Because it's amazing. And we eat it all the time.
One day I'll finally go to Japan and try it!
Or get someone to bring the at home mixes back from their travels >.>
martina looks like Jennifer Lawrence 😀
Have you guys tried Monster Curry?? It's amazing especially the 5 flame
Martina, you look like a Korean court maid with your hairstyle. xD
How does the CoCo Curry in Seoul compare?????????????
My husband and I were in Japan last month for our honeymoon. Thanks to this video and that you two talk about it so much. I made it a mission to make sure it was one of the first things we had there. We had it 3 times and it was our last meal before we flew back home. I want to open up my own chain in Toronto so I can share the Coco love
I know this is two years old but I would so move to Toronto just for that♡
I know this is old but I wish you luck on your food chain. I hope your dream is ending up going very well for you.
Thank you for your recommending
Vegitalian curry and non-allergenic curry isn't including peanut oil🥜 I'm happy if the information will be helpful.
Thank you for having a non-allergenic curry because if I ate the normal curry I would of died. I am servely allergic to peanuts.
Simon and Martina, you are the reason my husband and I went to CoCoCurry when we were in Tokyo back in April.
Sooooooo worth it omg.
+Ari I'm glad you went!
Oh that's fantastic! This Thursday! So close! I wish you the best of luck in Korea :D
Same here. CoCoCurry should pay them as spokespeople.
Whenever I slip back into my state of not eating, I just watch your videos. You two have been helping me with my ed recovery for about 3 years now, thank you.
i hope you’re feeling better now (=´∀`)つ❤️
I am now feeling a very strong urge to swim my way to japan and break in a coco curry store and eat.
same here 😂
If you are in California they have it here as well lol if not... then never mind~
daddyland it is not the same at all.
Nik Nik Is it really not the same? 😢 I live in California and this just got my hopes up until I read your comment lol.
OK, I'll bring the crowbar and lockpicks. We can do this!
I've been to Japan a few days ago and coco curry is the best. THE BEST.
+m00sician (●`・(エ)・´●) SO GOOD!
Dear Simon and Martina,
Thank you so much for introducing to my new addiction. I too am convinced that coco curry has cocaine in it. However, unlike you two, i am unable to find company to eat coco curry with. Please allow we wallow in my own self pity as I eat coco curry solo in one corner.
Sincerely,
Cococaine addict
I, still to this day, love how when Martina says "squid" a picture of asparagus shows up XD
Lol...I had to rewind that, because I wasn't sure I heard and saw that correctly.....😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will never not miss them together but I understand we know nothing of behind the scenes… just know i love you both and hope for the best for you both. Know you were my drive to push my anxiety aside and try new things and i will forever be grateful to you both.
My dog's AKC registered name is CoCo Ichibanya, if that tells you where I stand on the issue.
Oooh they're the same brand?
Don't think I've ever had Coco curry, but I fell in love with curry when I lived over there. I once went on a trip to Tokyo and that was practically all I ate. 海外の人が日本のこと紹介してくれると、やっぱり嬉しいよね
Thank you so very much to @karmenguate and @Maria Becerra for the Spanish subtitles, as well as @oWooshyo and @Sara Cabitza for the Italian subtitles! Thank you :D
whr did simon and martina learn to read japanese?
No problem this is the first video I've ever provided subtitles for ^.^
omggg seriously. You guys have convinced me to go to CoCo Curry the moment I land in Japan (if I ever get the chance to go...sob)
"Let me see that rice get all hot and bothered with that cheese..." LOOOOLLLL was NOT a good idea to watch this without headphones
sherry! I watch yur videos
hi sherry! I love your videos!!
They have cocoichibaniya curry in Irvine ca
The curry looks amazing but all I could focus on was Martina's stunning hairdo GIRL HOW DID YOU DO THAT IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE
She should do a video for making this!
Steffanie Rainbow I agree! ^^
yeah I love how her pink looks especially when she braids!
Her hair is in a braided bun!😍
Martina pls I need this in my life.

I just had to do those, after this great video. First subtitles I've ever made. :3
It's really appreciated. Thank you!
Danke für Deutsch ;)
Coco Curry is always a must when I visit Japan for vacation. Going back to Tokyo in March and can't wait for this.
I like how there's a picture of Asparagus when you say Squid.
Yum.
Maybe that explains why I don't like asparagus either. XD
asparagus is nasty yuck lol
Asparagus and squid are both delicious. Mmm...

Also thank you to +H. K. Chandraa for the Indonesian subtitles! So many subtitles on this video now! You're all great! Thank you :D
Your welcome guys :*
I hope my subs sounds as exciting as your dialogue
Wow! That was fast! Thank you to +Rewang Namgyal for the English subtitles! You rock!
안녕하세요 Simon and Martina!😀😁
You should do a coco curry eating challenge with Yuka Kinoshita
+Andrew Ngo she's not good with spice, though.
Simon,Martina what is the mildness level for? I don't get it please tell me ;)
Those pickles are the bomb 😵
I miss watching your videos together... 🥺 These memories help soothe my sadness. Love you both so much.
Level 10?!!!! You guys are beasts!
I thought I was a spice head, but I was dying at level 7.
日本の食べ物を喜んでくれるのは日本人として嬉しいですねぇ。
ジョークも面白いしね
Thank you so much to +Anh Quân Nguyễn for the Vietnamese subtitles as well!
Ohhhh my god, when that voice over came on, I just couldn't take it. Tears were rolling down my face I was laughing so hard. Ugh it was unexpected.
I'm dying too omg hahaha
Haha! They did something similar with their Akita beef (Better than Kobe beef?) video :)
So your friends weren't spicy enough for you. LOL. I love your videos. Thank you for making them & sharing your life with us.
+rcr2279 thank you for watching our videos and being a part of them :)

I feel lucky now. I am in Cali and one of the locations is less than 15 min away from me.
Damn, I'm super jealous. I wish I could have a weekly coco curry dinner. :c
Coco is actually my least favorite curry spot here in California. I've heard it's rather different than what they serve in Japan.
Kateryna Zyrianova me too! I actually just ordered delivery because this video popped back into my feed randomly. I'm so lucky haha
One like 5 mins away from me and I go far too many times.... It's so goooodd!!
Hey Simon, thank you for not archiving or deleting these videos. I’m sure I’m not the only one who comforted watches your videos when they are depressed. I hope both of you are happier now and have found your separate peace
Of course! I’m glad you can watch these videos and feel a sense of comfort 😊
i second this sentiment :)
3:01 im crying they put an asparagus emoji for squid

You guys are my Heroes!! So nice to live vicariously through you two. Consumed Level 10's for 3 years, while stationed in Yokosuka with the Navy. Great video!
I have never been so thankful for Simon and Martina, but after this video I found out that Coco Curry was also in LA and my sisters and I are so addicted to it now after trying it. It's one of our favorite foods and without them I don't think I ever would have ever thought of trying it! Thank Simon and Martina! You guys are the best!
Anyone here from 2022??!! Miss them so much!!
Thank you as well to +leavemealoneXX for the subtitles as well!
Yuuki Kiya well you can always just try new toppings for your curry ;)
this is a classic Simon & Martina eating episode!
That feel when you're a really picky eater so you have to live vicariously through other people who get to try such great things
same, i cant even eat beef
Hannibabe The Cannibabe sad reacts only
Just eat it and chew while almost choking and throwing up. Thats how I learned to overcome the picky life and now I eat everything except paprika’s and peppers 😂
Omg I finally tried Coco curry here in Korean and let me just tell you it's the most magical thing I've ever eaten. I want to go back everyday and maybe even marry it Lol. If you ever find yourself in Korea and miss Coco curry then I'm here 😂😂😂😂😂😂
My Korea Journey A
I don’t know why I come back to this video so many times.
Thank you guys i love you guys so much
Oh yeah! What did you order?!
How cool!
My husband and I tried many restaurants in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka and they were great... but we always ended up at CoCo Curry! We'd do a happy dance when we'd find one! lol I miss Japan!!!!!!!!!!!!! And CoCo Curry!
the biggest tourist mistake you will make in japan is to not bring home a whole or several whole suitcases full of CoCo Curry brand curry rue.
*roux :p
amazon fool
After my holiday in japan, London finally got a coco curry 😭. Can’t wait for things to go back to normal so I can have my coco fix! For now I’ll watch your video and get excited 🤣
I'm Japanese and Coco curry is definitely the best curry chain! Thank you for showing this hidden gem in Japan to all over the world! I always enjoy your videos!
All I will say is THANK YOU!!!!! Co co curry is amazing!! Absolutely loved it
simon's japanese is cuuuuute. gave me a fit of giggle-giggles :' ))))
danicantdance The way he pronounces the R is interesting😁 I'm Japanese and can never roll my R like that!

One of my favorite videos of thiers....i watch it at least once every couple of months
same! they just seem so excited and happy ^^
simon, have you ever tried ranch on top of your curry? did it just taste wrong together? just wondering since you love ranch
Wasn't at CoCo Curry, but had my first Japanese style curry in a restaurant. Blew my mind that it tasted exactly as I imagined!
That awkward moment when you're watching the sexy food part and someone walks in on you... I Can Explain ._. ... I Love Your videos!! Watching these videos make my day, you guys are amazing!
+Isabel Lopez thank you!
I keep coming back to this video whenever I crave some good curry. The happiness is so real in this video it’s over load haha
I really love when you make this type of vídeo!
+Denisse De La Cruz I'm glad! Thank you for watching!
I'd probably get 400 grams or more of rice.... I really like rice
It's about balance. For nigiri, it needs a certain ratio of seafood to rice.
maria gomez me too....i lived with it
400g after cooking? easy.
maria gomez
Same. Lol 😂
maria gomez i like rice
Idk why I'm so obsessed with this video. I've watched AT LEAST 10 times and I'm not joking. I think I'm visually addicted to coco curry even though I've never had it.
I'm going to Japan in 10 days and I'm already savoring this wonderful, magnificent, perfect curry already!!! There's something about it that makes it so special
I followed this video. Changed my trip. Thank you so much. It was soooo good . Thanks mates!
Happy to hear that! Coco Curry is such a different taste but so delicious.
last night i was scrolling around your old vids when you visited japan, and i thought, i was watching the old coco curry vid that i haven't watch and slept .. this morning, i just realized it was the new vid ... hohoho ... i was sooo early .. coco curry .. need to try it!

+Rain Liu omg ... i'm stil lauging ... loving this, you guys are the best ...
Rain Liu just responding to ÷H M
Dear simon and martina, I reccomend you to try golden curry, which is an instant curry paste that you can cook yourself, trust me it taste like coco curry. For me its even better, if you put the right amount of water and toppings that suites well.
This is the most excited I have seen you guys over food in a while. I am glad you have found your go to place
Next visit! ;)
I came to this video in 2024!
I now miss Coco Curry almost everyday.
How many people googled "Japanese sexy sauce"
I did XD
me lol
yep
Yep.
me! and i am actually inclined to make the recipe
期間限定メニューではあるのだけれども「グランドマザーカレー」は感動する旨さだよ。
玉ねぎの風味と厚切りベーコンの塩味と旨味が絶妙で最高なのだ!!
もしもまだ試してないなら、是非、試してみて。
Fufufu, I'm in Tokyo now and can finally eat all of the Japanese food that Simon and Martina recommended!! XDD (Just ate the menchikatsu from Steak House Satou's, it was THE BOMB) Looks like Coco Curry is next on the list! XD
OMG WASN'T IT AMAZING but messy! :O How long was the wait?
OMG you guys actually replied back so happy!! XD I went to Steak House Satou's during the Kichijoji Fall Festival a couple weeks ago and I only had to wait for about 15 min? Probably because there were more people watching the festival.
I think you read too much I love yoo
Martina eating, dancing, and "there's music playing in my heart" is me anytime I eat.
Lol I love how Martina describes the taste of the food; it's so creative lol.
I feel so adopted whenever I watch these two ♥️♥️🤗
We also love Coco Curry!
There's one in Irvine now too.
Thanks to you guys, I made sure to try Coco Curry in Japan when I first visited. It was amazing! ❤
My first meal in Japan was cococurry ^^ thanks to you guys for making it look so delicious! And thank you for making videos that always make me smile
My friend was stationed in Japan for a couple years, and when I asked him if he had heard about this place called CoCo Curry he went ecstatic explaining how much he loved that place. He then started questioning how I knew about it, so I had to let him in on this video ;p.
Watching your videos for the past years wants me to go to Korea and Japan so bad
When is Coco Curry gonna sponsor Simon and Martina XD
CoCo Curry is one of places i miss the most about Japan! I crave it every day at this point as i haven’t been in Japan for 5 years.
I made curry tonight and was amused to see this in my recommended videos list! Glad you guys like CoCo so much- I'm a fan of them too!
Japanese Curry is my favorite meal of all time my step mom is Japanese and I grew up eating it and it just makes me so happy, Curry with edamame and gyoza would be my last meal if I was on death row.
ALSO I LIVE IN NY AND WE HAVE COCO CURRY HERE SO NO NEED TO LEARN JAPANESE :3
Are you sure it isn't an imposter ? According to the coco curry website, the only Coco Curries in the mainland USA are in California. You might be thinking of GoGo Curry or similar which isn't the same.
That food porn voice-over had me dying with laughter!!!!
Simon didn't add the ranch?!?!?!?!? *GASP*
This is is too good to be true!
freshmentos it's that good
You guys are so funny!! Always love your videos.
Absolutely love Coco Curry! Can't wait to go back to Japan and have it again!
I miss Japan.
I miss CoCo curry even more.
Good thing I still have a package or two from there in my pantry!
I'm lucky to have this in my home country, Singapore. I love their omelette curry!
