The game is still an enigma. Every beginner video I have watched so far assumes too much prior knowledge of the League universe or of TFT itself. Where do you click? Where do you look for information? What to try to memorize vs what you can tell quickly through the UI? How to combine items within the 30 second planning window? etc etc etc
Just recently started playing as well and have never touched LoL, played a couple hours of Wild Rift. Been looking for a competitive game to get into and tried tft out and even though I don't even know what I'm doing half the time, I've been enjoying it so far. I'm starting to learn something new every game now. I think it's mainly about the learning curve as you play/watch videos, you start to get the idea of what to do and what to look for
I just started TFT last night and it was because I was convinced to play it with a friend. Having a friend while playing is a HUGE HELP. They understand the game already, know the good characters, know how to help you. Getting someone who knows the game to help guide you is a huge cheat code tbh. (I got 3rd place on my first real game:))
No idea what bro just talked about. this is the most complex guide on a videogame i have ever watched. My brain overdosed and the bright splashing colors gave me an aneurysm. Thanks TFT
@krispbacon9474 He's saying everything needs clarification. Like, TFT is such a complicated thing when you're just starting out. I watched the first few minutes of the video, and I'm already lost because I'm actually a beginner. I've played one time and didn't absorb any of the information on my screen. This video goes in and starts off like you already know the basics, yet it's catered towards beginners? That makes absolutely no sense. Nothing is clarified, nothing is explained upon, and it's like trying to build a house on top of foundation that doesn't exist. Sure, you might have a roof for half a second until a storm hits or a strong gust of wind knocks it over 😂
I played it in set 1 and a couple of other sets but i never learned anything other than traits and items, now i wanna learn how things like champion pool and other stuff work
Frodan absolutely killed this video! Props to the production team as well. I'll definitely be using this video to show my non-tft friends to try out the game.
dude i watched this video and went first place with 7 out of 8 witchcraft with 5 three stars. Thank you for the good video. The "keep 50 coins at all times" gave me soo much money.
This is my second month playing TFT. Glad I watched this video as I did learn something new. I thought that the probability of different tiers of units are dependent on the stage. Now I know that it's dependent on player level. Great video!
I took this info into my first game after watching and got second! some giant bat queen took me down which was awesome to see regardless of losing xD was winning all game till my last 4 matches agaisnt same person. got unlucky with no good rerolls to upgrade last of my people but was way more fun knowing this basic info. thank you for the great video!
Thank you! After playing the tutorial, I was still confused on why I wasn't able to level up my champions from a 2-star to a 3-star, and I didn't know about the gold interest either!
Helpful, but I wish you explained things like "comp" or the concept of stars. I've never seen a star or three in the total four times I've played and placed 8th. Also I'm still confused as to why I need nine of one kind. Do I combine them? I look at character stats but I don't know what any of those mean. I played League of Legends over ten years ago and it seems like I need to play it again first before understanding any of the things in Teamfight Tactics. Still confused. Maybe I'll stick to point-and-click adventure games.
Who else still lost none stop even after watching this video and applying the compound interest strat? I did. For 2 hrs straight, couldn't even fucking win a single match (top 4). Nvm try again tmr
You explained the game well. I still don't think I'm very interested in it. LoL is a bit more....immersive? What makes TFT better than, say, Gwent? I like Gwent.
I can't believe how inarticulate this guy is. This is one of the least beginner friendly tutorials I've ever seen. He doesn't focus at all on the things that are most confusing to new players.
Best way to play TFT, NEVER EVER play it's mobile version. I hate TFT mobile with all my heart and want the devs managing mobile to just get fired and game yeeted from existence. Thrice I have had 5(and now 6) 3 stars and Yordle still didn't came up. The Yordle benefit is shit and not only Yordle, but playing the event is nothing more than agony. Now you may say, hey don;t play special event dumbass. Ok. FINE. So let me talk about how shitty ranked is. You wait and wait and wait forever for game to pair. Then you get paired and one guy in the beginning, separate from others go and select a bonus and game decides to select that as starting augment rather than where ALL the players are. "Dude, ranked will have less players and that's probably only a glitch ". OKAY. FINE. So unrated it is. You start playing unrated and out of nowhere your augments in one match will have all augments that carry through all game and in other, you won't get a single continuity augment. So guys, if you new, do not play TFT mobile. I REPEAT. DO NOT PLAY TFT MOBILE. And devs managing that game should never be allowed near game development, ever.
Don't even think about playing this turd. Ask for your nerves if you play and try to come up with something yourself. In the game, in any set there are a couple of meter-long assemblies that will not allow you to play on your own

Yeah as a league player it looks cool to me but just makes no fkn sense and idk why it's part of the lol lobby 😂
I am actually trying to force myself to start completely over and learn fresh this game is to much sometimes
It’s designed to be played back to back for hours. It forces you to learn very quickly since it’s pretty repetitive and a small game with quick ques.
No idea what bro just talked about. this is the most complex guide on a videogame i have ever watched. My brain overdosed and the bright splashing colors gave me an aneurysm. Thanks TFT
bruh this doesn't look like beginner friendly to me, there's a lot of mechanics of the game but i'm pretty sure i get the hang of it
this is literally so unhelpful for people going in completely fresh, needs way more clarification
you're also being unhelpful by not asking where you need clarification and just immediately labelling the video as unhelpful

watching someone reroll lucky paws when planning to do a reroll comp is P A I N
me playing since set 1 and watching this video lol
Gotta give the video a quality control before you send it to introduce someone to tft 😤
@@dqmedia2494exactly what I’m doing rn lol

@@Supaaken everyone shares units. If someone has a lot of one unit there is less copies of that unit in the shared pool for everyone
Trying to watch a video before getting in to this game ... 1 min into the video and I'm already done, too much for me 😂
Dude I was thinking the same thing 😅. I’m 1:45 in and paused the video
Frodan absolutely killed this video! Props to the production team as well. I'll definitely be using this video to show my non-tft friends to try out the game.
dude this video fucking sucks at explaining how the fuck to play TFT, im sticking to the rift
Is this ur alt account?
Great vid, Frodan! Hope to see more from you going over more complicated aspects of the game!
Frodan the GOAT
this is good for my friend who has no idea about tft or anything related to tft xD

Amazing to see Frodan here!
So how do you level up champs? Do you buy a bunch of copies and place them down? And how do we increase the number of champions on the field?
very much information to process in that short planning window
I'm still dont understand what slot bar in the left and right on board... what is that?
What if you wanna play on PC and dont wanna install a WHOLE OTHER GAME (league) and have an anti cheat on a game that doesn't even use it?
It was honestly helpful unlike other yt videos because of generic terms of lol they use
GOAT Frodan
i was playing tft set 4-9, but now tft is way tooo fast gameplay and so many new rng things.. i wish i will start again playing tft :(
Lemme tell u, 10 was good and 11 is sheet
@@sesquiterpen662 For me it's the opposite... I completely disliked set 10, but love set 11 lmao

why would you vote against Crab Rave...
Probably because 99% of new player will die to that thing 😂

This didn't help at all i still have no idea how to play the game
pls revieuw sydney christmas from bgt !!!!
Im more confused now and i have no desire to play this lmao
This is a beginner guide? I feel like you didn't explain a single thing
This is hella confusing much like league was when I first started
For casuals who find this a bit confusing Hearthstone Battlegrounds are better.
All I heard was stuff stuff stuff do stuff more stuff, you don't need to know LoL more stuff lol I guess I need the ultra beginner video 😆
Nice try, but as a raw beginner this was way too confusing.
get 9 copies to 3 star? bruh what are you talking about?
Hello 🎉🎉🎉

Quite literally the worst 'Beginners Guide' to anything, I have ever watched. It assumes I have ANY idea what's going on.
uninstall = best decision ever
sounds boring
