Since my adulthood fear of heights emerged, last time top of the rock I hugged the inner walls closely. Only came for quick pics. Lol. A big NO to the crazy steel beam!! What if it went cray cray and started spinning faster and the guy on then flew off?? No. That's not unreasonable thinking at all! Sorry it was too crowded. We went in Sumner, mid week and was not crowded.

We had a similar problem with the queue, ended up in a row with the Top of The Rock person, they don’t get people like and need to queue!
It was such a disappointment when compared to my (D) previous visits years ago
