Valerie Solanas didn't identify as a feminist. And how the hell are women responsible for a misogynistic man being mad that women wouldn't fuck him?? And do you honestly believe that a woman hating men in general due to her insane abuse and repeated sexual assault and mistreatment is the other side of the same coin as a man hating women because he think that he's supposed to be able to own women like property and use for his sexual gratification? I mean it IS one of the rules of misogyny: "women are responsible for men's actions" so it makes sense that you'd unironically think that way. But also this comment is 7 years old; so maybe you don't still believe in sexist false equivalences idk
Her writing and sense of humour we're both of poor quality and rather obscene. She was not feminism, she was hatred and done so in an inarticulate way. I feel sorry for anyone who like me has had to read the whole book, if there's any piece of literature I would use for toilet paper, it would be anything written by Valerie Solanas. One becomes unwise when falling into the impression that her work was anything other than interesting because it's so ridiculous and laughable.
If she had been a comedian in any sense, the open mics would have dominated her, let alone a real comedian. Her jokes were terrible.... I know because I had to read her piece of shit, would recommend American pie over her work, and I hate that film.
She suffered from an extremely serious mental illness which to a GREAT extent explains her decidedly absurd point of view. The fact that you believe the delusions of a paranoid schizophrenic to be true says little about Valerie and a lot about your intelligence and gullibility.
I read a short story by Arthur Miller in Granta once about the Chelsea Hotel. When Arthur Miller lived in the Chelsea hotel, he saw Valerie Solanas there, or claimed to, and said that: "she seemed so crazy that you remembered her eyes being over one another."
@Cool Monster, Solanas was not an intersectional Feminist. Intersectional Feminists want EQUITY for ALL humans. Just because a BOOK with the word "manifesto" in it's title is studied by all sorts of humans doesn't mean that it is an honoured manifesto of any human group.
Actually. Humans are animals. You see, the species, homo sapien sapien, falls under the Order of primates which is under the Class of mammalia, which is included in the Kingdom of Animalia. So it is not only male homo sapiens that are animals, but also females. To say anything otherwise, is simply splitting hairs.

Life was originally asexually female. The asexual genes still exist within, you see this in some of the ways twins are formed (asexual genes don't start reproduction itself anymore ... women would just need to discover how to reactivate those ... but they clearly still exist since they play a role sometimes after the foetus is already formed)
but why is reproduction so important to you? We're overpopulated, and at the cost of both ourselves and other species. There aren't enough radicals at the moment for men to be reduced that much so I don't see the cause for Paranoia
Valerie also never said the entire male sex. Just the male sex. Other radical feminists also tend to say reduce to 10% of the population or similar things
@@jaceofheartstheprinceofbed9415 Do you realise how stupid you sound? Human asexual reproduction, as you have described it, is primarily in the realm of science fiction. @harveybacon It stops being satire when two people get shot. The only reason we are even writing about this person by the way. She couldn't get famous any other way than shooting people, and anyone who supports her supports violence and is no better than any man that ever waged wars.
And that makes her hatred right? You are weak if you can't choose yourself who you want to be with. Out of pure belief that something is right doesn't make it so. Dating women is as self-destructive as dating men. You not seeing that just tells me you're blind to an idea because another has been forced upon you. You fall in love with individuals, not a gender. Or rather, that's how i feel. Gender to me is not important.
I just googled radfemhub, like you suggested. I hadn't even heard of the group, but before I even looked it up, the word "rad" already indicates that it's an extremist organization. There are lots of women who call themselves feminist that don't participate in such a negative, hateful network that is embittered towards men. It's like comparing the NAACP to the Black Panther Party. There is a wide range of opinions, from moderate to extreme.
It is sad, when one cannot find their "other half", but it is even sadder to see someone give up hope It is not you, nor them. it is human nature, for one to not understand another easily. It is a curse that has been bound to human kind since our birth, we cannot escape it, but we can fight it Giving up on our relations, and our path to find our spouse is the opposite path to enlightenment. But those who give up, but do not forsake others are already enlightened. Why have you forsaken?

I imagine reading her work was a frustrating experience.
of course you would say that, you are a male. Your words prove her right
She suffered from an extremely serious mental illness which to a GREAT extent explains her decidedly absurd point of view. The fact that you believe the delusions of a paranoid schizophrenic to be true says little about Valerie and a lot about your intelligence and gullibility.
I love the sound track of this movie.
And some hold her in high regard still.
I am a fan of Andy Warhol but I know that with Valerie Solanas he behaved badly. That's why I wrote the song "That girl", on my channel.
Imagine that, a feminist who hates sex
I read a short story by Arthur Miller in Granta once about the Chelsea Hotel. When Arthur Miller lived in the Chelsea hotel, he saw Valerie Solanas there, or claimed to, and said that: "she seemed so crazy that you remembered her eyes being over one another."
LMAO
still provacative.
And radical feminist wonder ehy people hate them.
*w
Samsung 7 Funny how you accused all men of being rapist and warmongers when women have been guilty of those things as well.
@gypsyco lab You people are delirious everyday a female teacher is getting caught have sex with underage students.
@Samsung 7 any sane person condemns rapists and warmongers. We're obviously specifically talking about insane radical man-hating feminists

99℅?where's your proof?any links maybe?
Chad Valerie solanas vs virgin Modern Feminst
the actor reminds me of Cate Blanchett as Jude Quinn in Im Not There.
in other words, fucking amazing......
i can't believe how ignorant so many comments are on here. so many people are thick nowadays. lol.

For those of you that think feminism is about equality, just go to 8:08. It says this sociopathic's writing is a feminist CLASSIC.
@Cool Monster,
Solanas was not an intersectional Feminist. Intersectional Feminists want EQUITY for ALL humans.
Just because a BOOK with the word "manifesto" in it's title is studied by all sorts of humans doesn't mean that it is an honoured manifesto of any human group.
@@OakleyANDSittingBull And what equity is? It's the communism.
yooo where is my dinner
males and their nature, then you wonder why modern society views yall as such.
Lilli Taylor is amazing. You don't see so much of her but she's great.
Wow I had no idea Lili Taylor played her! I just learned about Valerie when I saw Lena Dunham play her in AHS: Cult. Lilli looks so young here. She’s a great actress but was way too beautiful to play Valerie Solanas! 😊
You're spot on about her being a *great* actress
I'm really sorry about all the bad experiences you've had in the past. You must have suffered greatly to have such a twisted resentful view. I hope you get well soon.
She didn't get well. She remained mentally ill and died homeless and penniless.
@@EyeLean5280 oh well
@@EyeLean5280 Well, least she's a peace now. She deserves it, after all the shit the world put her through. I may be a guy and one of the people she hates with a passion, and while I don't agree with her views one bit I do feel for her because frankly life just decided to absolutely fuck her over at every turn
Shes basically a left wing version of Timothy McVeigh
Or Elliot Rodger (except for the desire to “get laid”). Elliot wanted all women dead, this lady wanted all men dead.
How is she left wing?
@@Rhh26 Because left hates the male sex and the white race just like her
better to be ugly, then to be beautiful. because ugly people are more kinder then beautiful ones.
what a loaf of shit
what a pile of shit
Here is the reality, theirs ugliness in all sorts of people, and they all come in different shapes and sizes
Are you sure you are not internally ugly?
Valerie is living proof that isn't true... Well she is dead now, but the point still stands
Solanas reminds me of Elliot Rodger

People who call for a genocide of an entire gender need to take a 5th grade biology class
@@jaceofheartstheprinceofbed9415
Do you realise how stupid you sound? Human asexual reproduction, as you have described it, is primarily in the realm of science fiction. Also, you would have no chance in making such advancement viable as the vast majority of competent scientists are men and I highly doubt that an exlusivley female society could make such scientific and technological strides. 😂
@@seanquinn4540 You're not a leftist. People who say "most scientific advancements were done by men" also say the same about how it was mostly white people

No its not
Will do ma'am.
the andy warhol guy in this movie is terrible
I'm not sure how much I like Valerie, but I like your comment.
@karlsmith00 I don't have to, most people already dismiss her claims as sexist anyways.
@silanthaler No, you're not. Nothing excuses logical fallacies. Nothing excuses intellectual laziness. Nothing excuses shoddy thinking.
@karlsmith00 Smooth, losing it over comments on the internet and then making it seem like having the last word "wins" the argument.
@AlexGruev A perfect analysis of this person, I completely agree.
female mark chapman
I just googled radfemhub, like you suggested. I hadn't even heard of the group, but before I even looked it up, the word "rad" already indicates that it's an extremist organization. There are lots of women who call themselves feminist that don't participate in such a negative, hateful network that is embittered towards men. It's like comparing the NAACP to the Black Panther Party. There is a wide range of opinions, from moderate to extreme.
This didn't age that well. Turns out the NAACP isn't actually for the advancement of the people they advocate for.
Based woman , godess , mother hail Valerie Solanas
Yeah ain’t you “sane”
Oh.
Dirty word .... men ha ha

Yeah - go figure.
It is sad, when one cannot find their "other half", but it is even sadder to see someone give up hope
It is not you, nor them. it is human nature, for one to not understand another easily.
It is a curse that has been bound to human kind since our birth, we cannot escape it, but we can fight it
Giving up on our relations, and our path to find our spouse is the opposite path to enlightenment.
But those who give up, but do not forsake others are already enlightened.
Why have you forsaken?
