i cant think of another movie that captured LOVE so well. every frame, every word, it's so powerful and special. it takes my breath away. there are a lot of movies about love, but few capture the feeling as well as this did.

the film takes place in the 1770s, she knew it wouldn't be that simple of a decision to just leave everything behind. it's about love stories and how they're beautiful, powerful, even life changing, but also how they don't exactly last as much as we want they to.
