    This is the best Windows 10 tutorial I have seen. I have watched three different ones and this one is the absolute best! Thank you for all of your hard work making the video.

    As a person who was using Windows 8.1 my Toshiba Laptop Windows self destroyed so I bought a new Dell that came with Windows 10.
    I am also a long time MAC user and am more comfortable with Apple OS.
    This tutorial has been very good in helping me to understand and adapt to Windows 10 and learn how to make the occasional crossover from Apple OS to Windows 10. There are of course some things that are similar, different, and for me, better, or not so good. But then we all have our particular likes and dislikes. You speak very clearly, and I like that you do not talk too fast.
    Good Job.

    Most important thing to do on Win10 nowadays: Download a high res version of the old Windows 10 Wallpaper and apply it!
    (this is not recommended if you have a badass wallpaper already)

    Thank you for such a helpful video. It cleared up a lot of stuff for me. I decided to stop using Windows and have been using Linux for so long I forgot how to use Windows. I have bad attitude about Bill Gates.

    I hope this gets better. "And there you have the Start button...." You then scroll to the right, and a vertically aligned set of boxes suddenly appears as you pass over a blank area of screen... so what the hell is that? Are you going to ignore it? Sorry, but this is still quite frustrating.
    ...And you explained it. A bit. I'm going to quit editing this as it looks like it's going to take a lot of time to comment, beyond this one general comment:
    Please don't say "right?" with a questioning tone after you tell us something can be done, or something is, et cetera. It's not at all reassuring to hear you ask us if you've just said something true. YOU are telling US what can be done and how to do it, and it's just wrong for you to ASK us "right?" about something you've just said.

    I have Windows 10 Home Edition and Can't find any solutions on these 2 issues perhaps you can offer your expertise.
    1. I always use a total of 2 accounts...1 Admin Account and 1 Local User account. The major problem I can't solve after endless efforts is figuring out how to copy the system settings from the Admin Account to the Local Account. This would save a ton of time not having to configure the settings for 2 different accounts. So much easier if I could just create the Admin Account, adjust all my settings the way I want them, then create a local account and copy all the settings over from the Admin Account. Is this possible and if so where can I find the instructions?
    2. Is there a way to save the Admin Account system settings in windows 10 home edition to an external hard drive and/or back them up? All backup options I've read about do not offer the ability to backup settings. Rather it is documents, files, ect.. but not windows system settings.

    Thank you for the lesson! It really helped - BUT, I have one question: The last item you discussed was the updates - features and security - and you recommended keeping security updates current but not doing the same with feature updates. How? Thanks! -

    Ugh... I'm looking to replace my computer and have been considering switching to Windows in order to take advantage of the AMD Ryzen CPUs, and because Apple's OS has been in a steady decline. However, watching this hasn't convinced me that Windows is that much better than the last time I ran away from it, swearing. Thank you for your video, though. It still seems like you still don't have direct access to the file directory, an issue that's been with this operating system since version 3.

    • @JJFlores197
      @JJFlores197 4 роки тому

      What do you mean by not having direct access to the file directory?

    • @WaterShowsProd
      @WaterShowsProd 4 роки тому

      @@JJFlores197 I may be missing something, or perhaps it just wasn't covered in this video, but a way to actually see the file directory and which files are stored within which folder and move them about and manipulate them. All I saw in this video were shortcuts on the desktop and a Startup window, and a list of applications, but not an actual file directory of where those applications are on the hard drive.

    • @JJFlores197
      @JJFlores197 4 роки тому +1

      @@WaterShowsProd It would be in "This PC". If you press the Windows key + E, It will open "This PC" which will allow you to view your hard drive as well as the files and folders inside of your drives. This feature has been there for a long time. Its just that Windows 10 for some reason doesn't include the icon by default in the desktop.

    • @WaterShowsProd
      @WaterShowsProd 4 роки тому

      @@JJFlores197 Thank you. I haven't used Windows for a very long time. As I mentioned I'm considering switching to Windows in order to take advantage of the new computer hardware that's available. It's hard to find OS comparisons that don't focus on either games or gadget integration, neither of which interest me. On the Apple side I have felt the operating system has been taking more and more control away from the user, and have been getting more and more dissatisfied with that.

    Linux is free and yet very few people use it as their home desktop OS
    Windows 10 is very flexible.

    DON'T buy windows 10, it has an ugly interface and viruses and user account control, tell Microsoft that we're not buying windows unless you can take user account control off and make it like things from xp to 95 are or bring back windows xp if you don't do that we are buying an iPad we are not buying a laptop or desktop anymore
