    I can't thank you enough! In 2016 i lost my job, and home & since then I have only used internet on my cell phone, and since technology is always changing quickly, I have become overwhelmed with trying to catch up to understand. Computer classes in my town are for people who have never used a computer before OR its advanced and in a particular course. Thank you

    I have been a dedicated Mac user for over 15 years and after deciding to start my own small business just recently, I made the only sensible choice really and transitioned to Windows. Being tech savvy and my husband using Windows, I have had my Dell XPS15 for a couple of weeks and found my way around the basics before coming and following this tutorial. I figured it would require some basic knowlege and I was right. Other than that, it's really great, he was was very clear, concise and informative and didn't drag things out in each section, which I really liked. His voice was good to listen too and I learned things I can use going forward and found valuable. I agree with this tutorial not being for people who've never used a computer before as you would definitely need basic knowledge of Windows first. But Thank You for a great video.

    Excellent video thank you!
    I have Windows 10 Home Edition and Can't find any solutions on these 2 issues perhaps you can offer your expertise.
    1. I always use a total of 2 accounts...1 Admin Account and 1 Local User account. The major problem I can't solve after endless efforts is figuring out how to copy the system settings from the Admin Account to the Local Account. This would save a ton of time not having to configure the settings for 2 different accounts. So much easier if I could just create the Admin Account, adjust all my settings the way I want them, then create a local account and copy all the settings over from the Admin Account. Is this possible and if so where can I find the instructions?
    2. Is there a way to save the Admin Account system settings in windows 10 home edition to an external hard drive and/or back them up? All backup options I've read about do not offer the ability to backup settings. Rather it is documents, files, ect.. but not windows system settings.

    • @OnlineTrainingforEveryone
      @OnlineTrainingforEveryone  3 роки тому

      Tiles are shortcuts for Windows 10 apps available in the Microsoft Store. If you click or tap on a Windows tile, the respective app is launched. If you want to open the Weather app, for instance, all you have to do is click or tap on its tile, and you get a detailed weather forecast. Please let me know if it was helpful. Good luck!

    I am a beginner when it comes to computers period. I have been watching several videos to learn about computers and how to use them. This video said it was a beginners guide for windows 10 but after the first minute I was overwhelmed and basically lost. I guess I need a video that starts off a bit slower and shows more step by step instructions. Does anyone have any suggestions of a video that will walk me through window 10 step by step and show me how to get to the features and how to use them and any suggestions on videos that help beginners learn how to use computers period. I really want to learn how to be computer literate and eventually be able to work from home on my computer. I will appreciate any help and suggestions. Thank you

Other than that, you can get step by step books that are really helpful.

      Hello. A couple of things I use to help me learn is repetition. Repetition is the mother of memory. Secondly, stop the recording and open up your Windows 10 and try to replicate the steps in a section of his video (like Snap and desktop functions). Good luck. With technology, you should have the attitude that I can learn anything I put my mind to.

      Change the Windows region setting to a country where Cortana is available and you'll be able to use this feature. To do this, open the Settings app from the Start menu, click or tap the “Time & language” icon, Under the “Country or region” box, select a country with the language of Cortana you want to use. Close the Settings app and open Cortana from your taskbar. Good luck!

    This video IS NOT for beginners. The tutor assumes his screen looks the same as all windows screens. My windows 10 is different enough that this turorial is impossible to follow. I don't know how those icons showed up on his task bar. But my google chrome incon doesn't show in my task bar. This is a useless video unless video I guess, unless you are already familiar with windows 10.

      When you install a program, it usually asks you if you want to put a shortcut icon on the taskbar. I believe that by default Chrome puts a shortcut when you install it, so if you don't have it on your PC, you might have inadvertently removed it. The thing is, like you mentioned, not everyone has the same icon layouts depending on what programs they have installed.
