Holy shit. I've heard a lot about Leffen, but this is the first match I've actually seen of him and DAYUM! Fast, clean, and deadly. The crazy 4-stock end by Mango was amazing. It was a little sad to see Leffen crumble under Mango's will though. Also, god dammit these comments. I wish people would stop talking about Melee and the people involved in it like they know anything about it. Pros like Mango play the game for competition, but playing a good competitive game of Melee is fun and they still play it for fun. Mango plays at our local tourneys in Ohio for fun and sometimes doesn't win the tournament, but it's for fun for him and everyone else just like how for some people playing with items on is fun. Don't be jealous of these guys just because they are the best in the world at something and you don't understand because you aren't. If you don't get smash that's fine, we're not forcing you to understand the mechanics of why we have fun playing games of smash that require a high level of mastery and understanding, but don't act like you know the game like we do when you can't perform a Wave Dash or L-Cancel if you even know what those things are. You would get JV5ed by anyone at Apex and probably just any real smasher, but these people don't know what JVing is either. /rant

the biggest hurdle for Leffen is still his nerve. Whilst he has improve, he still loses his cool when the pressure gets really high which he just can't afford to do when your playing against people like Mango

I don't know the exact cause for that effect, but it's not a glitch. This happens to me at times. I'm pretty sure it's about the timing of the tech, and maybe the attack you're teching out of.
i love how at the start-ish of the anthem leffen has momentum and is pooping on mango...but then mango starts gaining momentum while the anthem gets more progressively louder towards that d-smash...just very cool

Love it when people complain about people cheering for players from their nation. This is the stuff that's missing from E-sports. There needs to be this passion. Think of how the world cup for football is. There are RIOTS started when your country's team loses. We need this in E-Sports, the drama and passion is what we need to make them more appealing to mass marketing.

USA player vs a European player, US player was having a rough start, so they tried to show their "team spirit" by singing the national anthem. It's silly, but it seemed to have worked. The crowd was just having fun enjoying the matchup.
