Wow. For years, I thought the lyric was "being high is good." But here I hear it to be "bee hive is good." Makes sense with a song called Just Like Honey!
yep, it was the year I discovered the Mary Chain via an ep in The Hit magazine, an alternative version of Taste of Cindy and it changed the way I listened to music forever.. I went straight out and bought Psychocandy and everything else seemed bland in comparison. it also made me look out for The Stooges and Velvet Underground. Incredible band.
Wow.. JAMC was one of my favorite bands in the 80s/90s.. I saw them when they were touring with Mazzy Star in the early 90s?. Both were such great bands. I barely remember the set but I remember when those fks were done they left their guitars and amps on and walked off the stage. Created a monster feedback loop that just screeched and screeched.. We sat through some of it hoping for an encore but they never came back out.. Bastards! Ahh Such great memories...
They should have invited Bobby Gillespie to play drums, nice to see them with an acoustic set. I went right off them when they started using the drum machine.
Brilliant band that deserved so much more credit than they got
I can't stop gazing at my shoes! P.S. I love this song.

In her honey dripping beehive
Beehive
It's good, so good, it's so good
So good
Maybe they changed the lyrics now that they're sober
1985. What a glorious year.
Indeed! Good that they are still around, but this was much more exciting…. ua-cam.com/video/OYpMtp9Mv3U/v-deo.html

Incredible band.
Modern hipster bands wish they could be this cool.
Thank you JAMC and Phoebe for making my day
Saw them live back in the early 90s. Simply amazing band!
I will be a JAMC fan till my death. One of my favorite bands
JMC and Phoebe = Match made in heaven

Yes, the feedback! I saw them with Social Distortion in Los Angeles, 1987. It's the loudest show I have ever attended.
Saw them twice a thousand years ago. They are REALLY good live.
Taking this old guy back to the 90's, simpler times.
80's

Makes me think of Lost in Translation
such an amazing film
Always
One of the best films ever made.
All soundtracks from this movie are so good, Sometimes by MBV fits so good on that movie.
Incredible film & song
They Flat Out Killed It! Sounded Awesome.
love that song🥺
Thanks for everything guys and my friend Phoebe as well.
Phoebe.
😭 a glimmer of hope! ✨
Amo, escuto esse som desde os meu 13 anos, hoje eu tenho 51
So good!
Spectacular. So excited they did this
Without all the reverb and distortion they sound like a mixture of REM and Echo & the Bunnymen.
Not REM, Velvet Underground
Love this video! Thanks guys for having my friend Phoebe!
Love you Sarah..
Absolutely Amazing!!!!
Yeah gold old days!
Brilliant
I have tears listening to it... Love this movie & song🥲, esp for loners like us

JAMC LIVING LEGEND
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Saw them on the first Lollopalooza tour.
🔥🔥🔥

that would have been too cool!!
Bobby can't stand the Reid's, been this way for years.
@@leannecampbell4551 you kidding? He adores them!!
🥰
I saw JAMC do this at Coachella in 2007, with Scarlett Johansson. That was cool. This is cooler.
I was at that too. Friday night main stage. Finished the evening watching Gogol Bordello in the tent
@@creekandseminole I was there too and it was my birthday! I saw them the night before do a warmup in Pomona at a small club...
🖤🇧🇷
💖🎶
This is sooooo fucking good. I love Phoebs
Awesome!!,,😍
Phoebe is the best back vocalist they've had for this song in a long time. When I saw them back in 2017, the vocalist way off key.
On top of everything else, she's a legit great backing vocalist.
😮😮😢😮😢😢😮😢🎉😊

Psychocandy = One of the greatest albums of all time
Wow
Now they should do "Sometimes Always" too.
They should do their entire catalogue!
95.5 BRU in Providence was my intro to JAMC.
Re-edit this version back into Lost in Translation.
Bob Harris approves this... 😊
make it suntory time
Stay here with me. We'll start a jazz band.

“Eating up the scum is hardest thing that I could do for you “❤️❤️
Molly Rankin also did that job!
Ooh, I'd love to hear that. "Archie, Marry Me" is one of the great pop songs of this century.
I wish someone had put tons of reverb on the drums...
Where’s the buzz saw!!!
What is this song about? To me, it sounds like its about a female "O"...
has she never heard the song ?
Hmmm. Guitars way too quiet, not jarring enough and definately not enough feedback.
J'aime jesus and mary chain depuis 1989.Et la reprise des pixies c pas top aussi ,ça ?
Lost in Translation.
Bunnymen

They gave her nothing to do!!!
I’m not hating but idk I just don’t understand the HYPE surrounding her. I don’t get it. Her voice is great but even that isn’t enough…..l
Thats a lot of instruments to sound so...bland. Maybe in the room it was more punchy.
#amberturd
When a band shouldn't keep trying. Sorry Reid brothers this is terrible and just a money grab. Hell Jim's voice is crap.
Dang he sounds terrible!
Love both acts but 'featuring' is a bit of a stretch!
