I find it INCREDIBLE that you could actually understand the Hue dialect and carry on a conversation with the local as if you have lived there for a long time. I have not watched many of your videos in the last month or two. So, I have a lot to catch up on now. That last Lady cooking was so Cool. It is nice to see Families and people take Food so serious. When you bring in Grandma or Great Grandma in to cook or prepare the food.. I think we all know it will be so much more Flavor and that home made feeling. Another great video

Dude you know what I don't even think in the US army back in 60's during the Vietnam war there was even anyone who spoke vietnamese as fluently as you do now in the US army !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! truly amazing !
Honestly, Bun Bo Hue is quite acquired to people from other regions in Vietnam due to its hint taste of shrimp paste. But I love Hue cuisines because people are really attentive on how to extract flavours from natural ingredients and stick to their traditional recipes.
I found this Bun Bo Hue place out of convenience because it's nearby the hotel I was staying in, back in 2019. While the flavor is on the safer, more generally likeable side of the spectrum, that's gotta be the most stacked bowl of Bun Bo Hue I've ever had anywhere with the chunky pieces of beef and meat, at a reasonable 50k price too, which would have been an easy 70 - 80k if it was in Saigon! The place is surely on top of my list if I were to visit Hue again.

Impressive Max to understand Hue dialect. I was born speaking Vietnamese and very hard for me understand Hue people. Being away from Vietnamese community for so long, it's hard for me to speak fluently and sometimes have to add English in there when the Vietnamese word escapes my mind

Impressive Max to understand Hue dialect. I was born speaking Vietnamese and very hard for me understand Hue people. Being away from Vietnamese community for so long, it's hard for me to speak fluently and sometimes have to add English in there when the Vietnamese word escapes my mind
