@@rightlanehog3151 maybe for constant max towing, but for hauling around a boat or small trailer once in a while it is more than capable. The new Land Cruiser is now using a unibody frame.
I have the Limited Hybrid (not the max hybrid) . City and highway combined only averaging 28 mpg . Disappointed in mileage, but love the vehicle. I thought I would be averaging 34 mpg. Had it for a month now. Only has 500 miles on it. The regular hybrid has plenty of power too.
You didn't show where the battery is. Some vehicles today are built where you have to take things apart just to get to the battery, that is a pain if you need a jump or to help someone.
10:40 looks more gray with sunlight. And the reviewer has crazy color comments because there's no green and teal is a blue green but the car is a blue gray
The mpg numbers are not that great. It’s a joke if you ask me. That little 2.5 is struggling to haul that large SUV. Why not do a V6 twin turbo or even a V8 twin turbo and then add a hybrid system?
. It’s a mom car. Why does my 4R have color matched fender flairs and the platinum trim of this does not? It’s pretending. Like pathfinder can pretend because Nissan ain’t got a legit mid size Offroad SUV. Toyota already does. So they do t need to make this pretend to be rugged when they have 4R and now a new LC
Because twin turbo is unreliable. You want that go get a Porsche or bmw. Enjoy your ride until you have to change spark plugs at 30000km and 500 dollar oil changes.
Would you pick the turbo, the hybrid, or the Hybrid MAX? Jeff
You already know the answer😉
8 seater HybridMax☹
Jeff, Several credible sources are reporting the base Hybrid beats the turbo to 60 while providing 10 mpg extra. Make mine a XLE AWD Hybrid please. 🤩🤩
True, but it tows less. The gas tows 5000 lbs & the hybrid only 3500 lbs. That is something to keep in mind if needed.
@@witchdoktor69 That is a fair point. If I was regularly towing 5,000 lbs, I would want something with a full frame.
@rightlanehog3151 the frames are the same. That has nothing to do with the towing. It is the engine and the way the hitch is attached.
@@witchdoktor69 These are unibody vehicles. I would want a body-on-frame SUV or pickup to tow 5,000lbs.

Your review of the 2024 Grand Highlander showcasing all 3 powertrains has me pumped. We sent you an email, please take a look.
Would pick the hybrid
GH Hybrid Is experiencing some serious fuel tank size issues. Could be experiencing deformation under vacuum.
What model is this XLE OR LIMITED?

Give it time to get broken in. My Hyundai Tucson did not peak out in mileage until about 8,000 miles.
How long did wait for yours? I ordered mine in September and still no word from the dealer.
I think I would go with the front wheel drive hybrid for the best MPG and either in white or dark blue.
is it underpowered with the 2.4L ?
Can you get a grand limited v6?
Jeff, I’m looking into buying a Corolla hybrid XLE in the summer. I live in MD and I would like to buy it from your store. Is it possible?
Sure absolutely.
Just email me at toyotajeff1@gmail.com
I looked at your prices yesterday and did not see any BS mark ups. If that’s the case I will e-Mail you when the time comes.
Thank you.

Why still no lithium ion batteries
In regards to towing...the hybrid does 3500 lbs, the gas does 5000 lbs & the hybrid max does 5500 lbs
This highlander is only 24 grand? Amazing 😢!
I heard the Highlander (not the Grand Highlander) is going to be discontinued because of low sales. This is still a really nice SUV.
Not true. In 2022 the Highlander was the 3rd best selling Toyota vehicle in North America. #2 is the Camry & #1 is the Rav4
OK, thanks for the update!!
Their photos show storm cloud as grayish

Because the point of a hybrid system is to be efficient
A twin V8? What year is this lol

Lool that price would be wayyy higher. You’re talkin super car level at that point
