Unsure if anyone's mentioned this before, but you can only access the city and leave in one direction -- the other direction has to go to the next junction and turn around!
I think I agree with this. Does anyone know of any settlement in the world with this sort of arrangement for road access? My hope is that he will arrange a roundabout somewhere along that highway soon
Well, if it's an US city with a tea theme, the most fitting name might be Liptonburg. Also, although they are best known for iced teas, they do in fact sell traditional hot teas.
In America Lipton tea is absolute garbage, tastes like you've stir dirt into hot water. even Bigelow is better...barely. The most satisfying teas come from Itoen.
Lipton is alive and well in Asia🤷🏻♀️ not sure why people make them out to be absolute trash. There's a time for fine teas, there's a time for flavoured teas, and there's a time for run of the mill teas. No need to be a "tea snob"
Two, comments, though they've likely already been made. 1) Zoning tool works on existing roads if you click on the Zoning Tool below the 3 options. 2) You entrance to the city will need to be reworked, as it only allows entry/exit from left to right. Love your series, have been going nuts during your absence! So glad you are back on CS2! Love you brother!
Glad to see you back, Biffa. Turn your sleepy village into a centre of excitement. Install a bear spawner next to your parish hall, school or playing field.
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines - You laugh, but here in Florida, we have the Bear Spawner, and also Snake Spawner, Black Panther Spawner, Alligator Spawner, Disgusting Turkey Vulture Spawner, Osprey Spawner, American Bald Eagle Spawner, Rabid Possum Spawner, Attack Mosquito Horde Spawner, Sudden Sinkhole Spawner, and the ever famous Leaping Armadillo Spawner. Gotta look out for those leaping armadillos(*)! (*) Not a real thing...but Florida sure did meme this in about 1998, long before "memes" became a thing, haha! At 17:44, upgrading existing roads is possible with this tool. Just of out of the road selection, then open the tool, and select "Zoning Tool" on the plugin, and you would have a tool on existing roads. In this case, Left and Right can be anything, though.
I remember when episode 1 of a new city was mostly trying not to go bankrupt while laying down a really basic grid with a few houses, commercial and industry. There's still a bit of that 'new city' gameplay here but it all looks so much more organic and interesting, with little decorative details and walkability built in from the start, it's almost like you've played this before! 🙌🙌
Glad you're better Biffa! This map looks a million times better than those horrible standard maps! I'm glad the modders are now able to sort this game out! It is tempting me to come back to the game, almost. BG3 is still the only game I am playing atm.
One of the world’s most remote villages is Edinburgh of the Seven Seas on the island of Tristan da Cunha. In honour of that you can name this one EarlBurgh of the Seven Teas. Glad to see you are feeling good again. Have a fantastic week!
How about Santa Camellia? An American/Hispanic take on settlement naming but since Tea is actually Camellia sinensis, the name Saint Camelia is slightly changed... Nice to see modding back in fashion again too. Some very nice stuff on it's way as well! Glad you're also back on your feet.
Great to have You back Biffa! The zoning toolkit mod has a button called "zoning tool". If You use that one You can change the zoning without deleting the road.
Great to see you back for a new series. I'm sure these comments have already been said: Your firehouse is right where your medical expansion will be going if you intend to expand it in the future. Town name: Chaisterfield (as there are loads of fields on the map.)
Welcome back Biffa. Glad you’re feeling better. One quick tip, when drawing roads if you turn off the guidelines snapping the zoning won’t be as messed up and janky.
Happy you're back at it Biffa. For me you playing CS is as good as siting in front of a fire, watching the flames and contemplate the day. Super relaxing!
Es una ciudad que sólo permite el ingreso si circulas por la autopista desde la izquierda y si quieres irte sólo podrás hacerlo hacia la derecha... Es la ciudad del "no retorno".. Jajaa.. Si viniste de visitas a ver a un familiar jamás podrás regresar a tu hogar!! Jaja
I appreciate you sharing about your difficulties with health; it had a timely encouraging effect on me today as I’ve been relatively unwell this school year and even missed work again today (though not comparable to yours haha) I appreciate living vicariously through your builds! Switchelburgh is what I’m throwing in the hat! I made switchel for the first time recently to help my stomach though it’s probably closer to a kombucha than a tea; it is very American!
Americans don't really appreciate tea, unfortunately. However, there is a strong tradition of ice sweet tea in the American South. I don't like it, but a lot of people do. So my suggestion is: Sweet-Tea Springs. There's even a "Sweet Springs" in Missouri.
Fun fact... that "high rent" right in the beginning is purely because of the "property lot size", if you make the low density zoning individually and letting a small 2x3 or 2x2 build then zone in the next door neighbors. Those large 3x6 lots are expensive. Never forget areas for smaller houses and to mix in smaller commercial and industrial and not always blanket zone thus getting the largest buildings/lots.
(Tea) Potsburgh! Nice little beginning...looks totally authentic. So glad you and the family are over the Scarlet Fever episode. That must have been scary.
New name suggestion 'Tetleyburgh' Plus it would be cool to have 'estate' after the name of each area with its own main park. eg. 'teapot Estate', this map reminds me a little of Scotland and Yorkshire were lords and lady's own estates were small villages are situated. great to see you back in action Biffa :D
City Skylines 2 looks incredible ! what a differece! I'm a bit late to the tea party with this game ! And I only have PS5 version which is a bit janky but I'm totally hooked ! 3 city name ideas 1. Spoonburgh. 2. Sipburgh for " Another Sip of tea". 3. New Tingburgh for the sound your spoon makes every time you auto save sip of tea.
Great that you're feeling better Biffa, nice one mate. Where you placed the road alongside the farmers fields I think it would be nice if there was a tall hedgerow between the road and the field.
I love these videos. glad that you're feeling better. you may need to move the firehouse when you add the upgrade to the clinic but you seem to have enough space along that road. Can't wait to see how this city turns out and how pretty you end up making it
Welcome back. love the channel. Can't wait for CS2 to come out on consoles, despite the issues. Haven't read all 250 comments so if someone beat me to this name, then I agree with them. GetTeasBurg. You know, kinda like the civil war battlefield. Anyway. great video. Have a good one.
Glad to see you back in the mayorial saddle again. My idea for a name is inspired from the first air tea delivery service buy the pilot named Charles Lindenburgh ( yes I just made that up )
First time watching cities II. Wanna see how it goes! So far its strange how you are losing money but have soooo much. But glad you can start a city easier without worrying you made too many roads and have no money.
I wish we could add parking lots the same way you draw in farmland. Because in real life parking lots aren't all squares. They fit the area that available
Other commenters have suggested Liptonburgh, so I'll throw in Chesterburgh, after the Chester Teapot in Chester, West Virginia. It's billed as the largest teapot in the world, and West Virginia has a lot of mountains which is fitting with this map.
Is people able to get into the town from the highway from the other side of the road? Welcome back. Nice to have new content. Don't forget smaller lots for lower rent area
I vote for the name to be Floridburgh! That way we can utilize as much of the new tropical assets, I mean how else will you use all 4 of those new trees?
Biffa: Makes a note to leave room for upgrades for the clinc
Biffa: Places firehouse right next to clinc
Yah, that seems familiar somehow. Almost as if I\d do that. Nah, nevermind.
Got a name already for suggestion - New Brewburgh.
This was going to be my suggestion as well. +1 for New Brewburgh.
Vote New Brewburg!
With the Mistea Mountains in the background.

Well, if it's an US city with a tea theme, the most fitting name might be Liptonburg. Also, although they are best known for iced teas, they do in fact sell traditional hot teas.
If you can call Lipton "tea". I call it floor sweepings. Worst. Tea. Ever. And I'm an American. LOL!

Using the Zoning tool, if you click on the zoning tool word button, you can change the zoning on an already built road.
Came here to say this! 17:57
Same for me :) Just wanted to write it.
😂 me literally shouting at the screen 'click the zoning tool button!'

Ford Thunderbird is a classic American car. It was called the t-bird. So Tea Burgh might be a nice twist on that.
