Nice video! Keep up the good work! Subscribed !

    Did you rub before you flipped?
    And I have never flipped a quad surprisingly, I was turning around and I pull in a driveway and I go out the other side, I was going a little fast and the back end came out and I started drifting and I'm like YA IM DRIFTING A QUAD, SHIT. The tires just plow under the loose gravel and thx god it didn't go all the way over

    That's why im afraid of buying one of these can ams.. They can't be driven like other lighter quads. Its obvious the weight shifted on you while you was turning. Its 962lb. That's a shitload. It also sits high. Ita like a tall fast brick with wheels. Im wondering if the shocks can be adjusted to help it not flip. Looks like the suspension is stiff. Im actually buying an 850 and this vid kind of discouraged me some. I currently own a 2016 Honda rancher and my cousins and I go riding at crosby atv park. Now i understand why they have a hard time going through the trails i go through. Dips, bumps, humps, anything that puts their can ams at an angle they panic while i just ride through and wait for them. Lol

    • @sswcubes
      @sswcubes 7 років тому

      Wutthaduck i can have what ever quad i want. I like power and speed too. I could have bought a can am when i bought my rancher but i didn't, the rancher is my first quad and ive had lots of fun learning on it. No complaints at all but the lack of speed compared to a tin can. Running trails and some 2-3 feet of water, mud right along with the cousins with no problems. Even helped pull my cousin out, him and his canam xmr. Got stuck in a soft mud hole i went threw with mo problems. Why? Cuz his cam am is so heavy it just sank and bottomed out. So, like i said, just looking at what im trading in regards to maneuverability of a light quad vs a heavy powerful one.

    • @jaycevessier7554
      @jaycevessier7554 7 років тому

      David Shaffer why did you buy a mudding bike to go fast? you want a speed bike get a 450r or banshee. you have a bike made for mud and trails

    • @davidshaffer4099
      @davidshaffer4099 7 років тому

      I bought the 850 HL before doing my research. with today's equipment and engineering you can have the best of both worlds. If I wanted to be beat to death and only had the need for speed I would ride a sport quad (not bike 2 wheels). there are other things that the can-am 850 xmr offers that the polaris 850 HL does not other than speed like not having power steering which is needed when riding a bigger machine in the mud. besides everyone has their own opinion.

    • @scottpaul317

    In the video you have no idea what happened you say. You let off the gas in a slide, rear wheels slowed down, instead of forcibly breaking traction, they slowed to the point they caught traction and the ass end with momentum, pulled you over. If you would have kept on the throttle, wouldn't have happened as easy.
