I guess I'm weird, but I did my first powerlifting comp in 1993 and we all trained out of old 2x3 racks and monolifts. I bought the Titan T3 power rack years ago and I have never understood the criticism of Titan Fitness. My friend has a Rogue 3x3 and don't like it as much as my 2x3.
Are you able to do basically any exercise with the fast peppin? It’s the cage that worries me. For example, lat dumbbell pullovers? dumbbell pullovers are a staple in my workout.
Yeah I have a set of ironmasters and I love them. I just wish they were a little faster in terms of changing weights but honestly even the ironmasters don’t take that long once you get the hang of it. My question, are the fast pepins as durable and drop friendly as the ironmaster? One of the things I love about the ironmasters is that those guys are like tanks and can drop them whenever I want.
How do they compare to the ironmasters in durability? More durable or less durable? Can they be abused and beaten to absolute shit like the ironmasters? If so, I definitely want one
My last mistake was buying a large heavy "industrial" trap bar. Since I store the bars vertically in a packed small space it was a big hassle to use the bar. Ended up selling it for a smaller, lighter more simple bar that still does the job for my needs.
@@FitnessNews24 great to hear! Is it stable enough for reracking heavy weights during squats and deadlifts? And when doing pull ups? Im super interested in buying one, since it says it does not need to be bolted and it looks cool
@@GoGCANADA mine isn’t bolted and I have done 500lb rack pulls with maybe 30lbs on the opposite side no problem, I would add plate storage for sure tho otherwise it can be a touch wobbly
Love the channel. I just sold my S2 92” because I’m moving my garage gym into my basement. Originally bought this used during the pandemic, not much was available. I bought the SML1 70” + spotter arms. I like the small footprint and wanted just a quality piece.
Going through this right now. It does seem like the 3x3 is complete overkill BUT it’s not all that much more than the 2x3. Yeah, the 3x3 accessories are more expensive but not THAT much more.
Agreed that the rogue accessories are very steep. It may not be ethical, but there are clones and such these days. As well, BoS stuff is great for the price.
The one thing the SML 1 with HR-2 conversion has going for it. It will actually fit in my low ceiling basement 😅. I’m very jealous of those with 96” high racks!

Exactly

Yep it’s nice for a lot of exercises I use the weight handles on the sides , better grip!
The Pepins are definitely the best adjustable dumbbells - just need to get that price point down a bit
@@steverapos3904 yeah they aren’t cheap :/

Is the HR-2 any good
Works great for me yep

I could only fit the short squat rack in my basement. Not idea but it gets the job done. Used it was cheap too. Pretty much my only option for height.
