I'm glad you like what you got. It's great that you got a set of Frank's resin valve covers. He had MAD respect for you and would be proud and honored to have his parts on your Buick build. This is. Going to be a great Lumina build. Something so different
Big thanks Matt!! I am honored to have pieces of Frank's great work! (and yours!!) As to the Lumina, I just hope I can pull it off! The wheels are still the biggest challenge.
Very nice idea for a NASCAR build, and you have already tracked down lots of stuff needed for the build. This is going to be an awesome build when it is completed. Thanks for sharing.
Looking forward to seeing you get into these kits. I think I might have a few in my stash. Gonna have to check and see what I have. Lol. Love those cup series decals. Might have to pick up some of those. Keep up the great work!!!
Yep, they are interesting little kits for sure! As for the shrubs, that's the second time this summer they got me. Amanda says I may get a suit of armor for Christmas. LOL!
Well that's just outstandin'Mark!! You're heading down my favorite scale rabbit hole now brother 😁. I'm just swinging at the fences here but the wheel/insert detail might be available in the slot car world as well. There's getting to be a lot of resin-casting in that corner of the hobby these days. I'm really excited to see you build up the Lumina cause I've already snagged up most of the classic stock cars that Carrera makes(late 60's/winged cars)! This also gives me a great excuse to Gmail you a few photos of the latest project on the layout 🤠. Thanks for sharing brother and blessings to you and Amanda 🙏🇺🇸✌️🇺🇦
And a big thanks to you my friend!! I've be checking a lot of slot car goodies today! A lot more bodies out there in 1/32 than I thought! Really cool goodies! Y'all have an awesome week buddy!! God bless!!!
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 INCREDIBLY INSANELY MIND-BLOWING OUTRAGEOUSNESS In 1/32 Scale No Less. I'll DEFINITELY Be Watching For Updates On This Project Mark . God Bless The 007 Household 👍👍 Gary.
I don't know anything about NSCAR but 3 years would be answer and of course I was wrong LOL good video I enjoyed watching. 🙂 Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist
Many thanks Thomas!! I would have thought 3 years as well. LOL! You have a new sub!! Email me your mailing info and I'll shoot you a Shop Card. hobbydude007@gmail.com Have an awesome week!!
Very cool, love oil filter decals! 🙂 Always on the hunt for them as there aren't many out there and adding them makes a HUGE difference. 👍👍 The parts from Luka look great. Looking forward to the Lumina build Mark..... 🙂😊
You sure got your work cut out for ya. We all know it will be mind blowing when it's finished. Sure wish the companies that make models would watch your videos, and go to you for advice on how they could make them better. Some of the stuff they make, could sure use some of your knowledge. Again, thanks for the great video Mark.
The shrubs always win Mark , when you said 1/32 I said well I wont say what I said ,I know if anyone can you can looking forward to seeing this build for sure what a challenge you put on yourself there Mark can't wait to see this all come together yea I got confused too lol enjoyed but I am sure you wont.👍👍👍👍
Really cool 1/32 scale NASCAR kits. Have the Petty, Earnhardt and Allison kit I built box stock. Dale and Davey's 1/32 race car haulers too, built them a looong time ago. They need to be cleaned up yet they're great to have! Love what you've done so far, going to be awesome when done!!👍👍
Wow that's going to be an awesome project, brother, I'm really looking forward to watching! 😁 I did one of the AMT 1:32 92 Petty Pontiac for my Small Scale Group Build entry this year and have a few others 😊✌️
You wouldn't be willing to sell me a couple of those oil filter decals, would you? 😊 I loved those Monogram snap kits, I built quite a few of them back in the day. My all-time favorite NASCAR kit was the 1/24 Lumina and those were like a perfect little scale down of that. The newer Aoshima snap kits have fold-up interiors like that too.
Thanks my friend!! Shoot me your address to the email in the video description area. As you saw, I have a ton of those little things! LOL I agree! The Lumina is an awesome kit!
Wish I could Fined a kit for this, as I used to own a Chevy Lumina Nascar, in Australia, my answer 5 yrs seat belts, 4 yrs in Australia, Sweet shop Card from Ron @ Somo Diecast, cool show enjoyed 👊🍻🍺🍻🍺🇦🇺🤝😎👍
Thanks brother!! So cool you had a stock car Lumina! You have some great first hand knowledge of the cars for sure! Ron @ SoMo Diecast is indeed a great guy and is awesome with 1/64 hot rods! He and I went to high school together many years ago. Cheers!!
Thanks Charles!! Real plug wire is between 8mm to 11mm, (standard to performance) I use 0.018-0.020 in 1/24-1/25 "plug wire" from Pro-Tech, Detail Master, Gofer, etc. For 1/32 scale I'm going to use 0.012 and 0.0075 fine detail wire from Detail Master and from my local electronics store.
Hey Jeff!! Sorry about that buddy. You can get that figure from Jim at Salvinos JR Models. Jeff, just email Jim at: jim@salvino.us for a list of parts and prices.
I would contact whoever you found the 3D printed wheel set at. From what I know of 3D printing, in most cases they can be scaled up or down rather easily. Kind of like paper printing you can print at 125% or 75% etc.
Many thanks brother!! I found two companies that make some really nice ones in 1/24 scale. I contacted both of them about making 1/32. One said no. The other has never responded.
Thats what this hobby is all about, challenging yet fun. Can not wait to see all the videos on this build. I know that it is going to be fantastic.
Thank you buddy!! I hope so!

Always felt that the Lumima was a deathnail where my being a fan began to end.
Thanks Calvin!! The Lumina never bothered me as much as the later 90s cars did.
That's very interesting on how the monogram kit has a fold up chassis/roll cage- and don't take take any bs from those shrubs
Yep, they are interesting little kits for sure! As for the shrubs, that's the second time this summer they got me. Amanda says I may get a suit of armor for Christmas. LOL!
