    Hi Guys. Can you tell me if there is a way to replace the inner filter in the bottom of the black plastic reservoir of the fuel pump? The lower exterior filter clips on and off and is easily replaced but the inner filter seeems to be manufactuered as part of the housing. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Love your videos, Very Helpful! Was able to do a head gasket on another ski I have with them!
    Hoping for some insight on an issue I am tracking down. I have a 2011 gti 130 where the starter cranks for 15 seconds or so before the engine starts. At the end of the 15 seconds, a lot of times on the second crank, you hear the engine start spurting to life. The ski runs great, hits its factory top speed with no issues after its running. Restarting it after its running, takes a little less time but still around 10 seconds or so to start.
    Found something online that they found a FPR issue for their engine with similar symptoms.
    I am Wondering what you think?

      @3ftDeepChannel  3 місяці тому

      Thanks for the kind words. I haven’t come across that issue before. It sounds like you’ve got mechanical knowledge and skills but still I’ll ask, have you checked the spark plugs? Normally I’d say it could be a bad fuel injector or two, but that issue would normally affect your top speed. Same with a blocked air intake. There’s a slight chance it could be your fuel pump/filter.

    Hi I have a 2001 rxdi seadoo I took the fuel pump out and replaced the 2 filters ...put it all back but the jet sky won't start now. I do see the pump skirts gas from the nozzle but the motor cranks but no spark unless I put some starting fluid in the piston and then put the plugs back.... could it be the pressure of the gas tank or could it be the fuel lines are clogged the ski has 52 original hours

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  2 місяці тому

      That sounds strange. If your machine was running before you changed the filters, I suspect you made an error when you put it back together. I’d take it apart systematically and make sure everything’s connected properly. Good luck.

    I have a 2016 Sea Doo GTI 130, the speed does not show on the dash, everything else works fine, that started happening when they changed the carbon seal and the drive shaft, it does not fail nor does it have a code, what could it be? , thank you.

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  4 місяці тому

      It’s not likely due to the carbon seal or drive shaft replacements. If all else is working, it may be that you need to change the settings on your dash to display the speed. Check your owner’s manual for the instructions on how to do that. If that isn’t the issue, it may be that you have an issue with the GPS module that determines the speed. Good luck.

    QUESTION - My 2014 Sea-Doo Wake Pro 215 should run at a top speed of 65mph+. With full throttle I can't get it to go faster than 45mph. The ski has only 57 hours and rarely used last couple of years. Wear ring and Battery recently replaced. Is there maybe a speed setting I'm missing? What are some of the things I should be looking for? Spark plugs? Fuel filter? etc.?

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  Рік тому

      Thanks for the kind words. Check the condition of your impeller. If it’s dented or significantly worn you can lose a lot of performance. We always recommend changing the spark plugs each year, as they can also cause problems. Also, make sure the ignition coils are sitting correctly on the plugs. The older engines require the cap on the plug to be unscrewed so the ignition coils sit over the plugs. Check the air supply by removing the hose to the intake (to test for an obstruction). I doubt it’s the fuel filter, although it’s something to check into if you can’t find any other problem. It could also be a bad ignition coil or fuel injector. You can test the latter if you have a CanDoo Pro. Good luck.

      @@3ftDeepChannel The first thing is I don't have a diagnostic tool. But I have power to the injector, and ground signal is missing from the computer. • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  Рік тому

      These types of issues are very hard to diagnose over the internet. I can say, however, that in older machines that have been ridden in salt water, the wiring harness can become an issue. Also, the computer itself can begin to fail. Good luck with your issue.

    Does the fuel pump has a fuel regulator integrated?

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  4 місяці тому +1

      There are so many makes and models of these pumps I don’t think we could give a blanket answer, but I think most of the pressure regulation is at the fuel injector, as controlled by the onboard computer.

    okay.. shot in the dark here. I have a 2019 fish pro 155. 7400 rpms is the max rpms I can get. If I pin the throttle I'll get a fuel sensor error or fault. It slows down to 3500 rpms and then goes on till you try and get to the 7400 rpm area again. if you don't go to the 7400 rpm area it doesn't happen. new plugs oil is clean new wear ring the jet pumps been greased.

    • @3ftDeepChannel
      @3ftDeepChannel  Рік тому

      it sounds like a fuel supply problem. Could be a fuel injector or the fuel pump itself. Maybe a dirty filter. It’s very difficult to say. Check the fuel lines. If you had a Candoo pro, you could out the spray at the injectors. Good luck.
