Death Cab went back to having amazing improvisational jams and not being afraid to play loud and hard, not something they used to do since before Plans honestly. I feel like this live performance tops any Death Cab performance ever and not even 10% of my favorite Death Cab songs are on the set list and that must be saying something. They are aging well as they realize that they have been kind of trotting around the past nine years and they are making up for it!

I'm really impressed with the crowd here! I can't watch live performances of some other groups because there's a constant din of screaming. These punters respect the music and they're all there to hear it.

His guitar became out of tune, so rather than try and tune it there and then he asked for a new one. He then got his passed back to him a few minutes later, then tunes. You can hear him say "Can I get a guitar that's in tune please"
I think the signal from Ben’s keyboards is shoddy. Some notes are fine. Others are entirely off, and you can see him slam down on the keys with nothing coming out.
Can't blame him to be honest, playing such a big concert in vegas and there's a host of problems that completely fuck the show up, the stage sound issues and piano not working and simple stuff like the guitar not being tuned properly by the tech just gets in the way of the band doing their job

Piano not getting picked up by the sound mix at all and Ben pretty visibly pissed about it for the next 10 minutes
This sucked. Backing vocals were awful. Obviously the stage sound/monitors were a big problem. Gibbard was all out of sorts over it.
