I bought a 50mL of A*Men Fantasm and a 10mL bottle of the women's version of Fantasm. I do love both of them. I found both of them to have intense sillage and strength. For me, 1 spray of the A*Men Fantasm lasts all day. Have people noticed that their sense of smell is still as acute as they were pre-pandemic? A lot of people have experienced anosmia or loss of their sense of smell, which can also happen over time. Bond No. 9 had done their own fruity gourmand, Nuits de Noho, with a strong pineapple component so I'm very happy that Mugler brought pineapple into the women's Angel Fantasm. I hope L'Oréal focuses on quality and creative innovation, especially with a lineage as special as Thierry Mugler's.
Dude, I had the EXACT same reaction as you when I unboxed this. Just opening the box gave me so much nostalgia. I haven't opened an A*Men flanker in YEARS and it just brought me back.
I really really like Fantasm. On me it smells a lot like Angel Muse which is sadly discontinued so I got excited with this flanker. On me the performance was more than great. Greetings from Greece ❤

I think that will depend how well this one sells, unfortunately. I wish they would keep pumping them out as before.. Like Pure Amber, Ultra Patchouli, etc.. I've owned 6 of the flakes and love the all. Made the mistake of wearing Pure Havave, Pure Coffee, Pure Shot all the way to the last drop. No way to find them for the price I paid for them. Wish they can do a last run so I can buy those again.

When I buy a perfume I want it to last and I'm so disappointed with so many perfumes nowadays. When it comes to the designer fragrances I buy only some classical ones (though often reformulated and less potent). I remember like 20 years ago I was wearing Donna Karan Black Cashmere and I could afford it from my small student's budget - it was so potent, unique and niche quality. Nothing like that in Sephora anymore 😢
My mom has worn Angel practically my entire life, and it is one of my favorite scents in the world. I also enjoyed the original A Men don’t mind the bottle because it’s refillable.
I've never tried any of the Mugler range, I was in a fragrance shop yesterday and told the staff I liked the men's Valentino Coral Fantasy and she recommended me Angel Fantasm and I actually really like it, sorta smells like a Pina colada with a vanilla twist and it lasted for hours on my skin.
I don't understand how they can release a fragrance after so many years with no performance! That a shame! I am a big fan of the original. I don't understand what they are thinking! They don't test their fragrances? Amen (the original) was super strong longevity projection big sillage... Why they don't do it for this one. I am super disappointed I was so excited for this one
Story. I was at a Macy's, it must have been over a decade and a half, and a man was talking to a sales rep and he was interested in A*Men. The sales rep spritzed some on a test strip. The man liked it and proceeded to put some on. Folks, the look of the salesperson when this guy must have put on at least 10 sprays. His eyebrows raised in such a way. Anyway, I was leaving the counter and I am telling you, you could smell it at least 30 feet from the counter. I have a couple bottles of the Thierry Mugler stamped A*Men. Malt, Wood, Havana, B. You can still find B for a good deal. It's a good one. I'm so glad this one is like the older A*Men's. Hopefully, we will get more. Before there was an FB community, an Insta, and all the other socials on fragrances, there was UA-cam. A*Men was such an important part of our community. I just hope these age and become stronger. I pulled them out again just a couple days ago and they’re still pretty weak on me sadly but reading the comments some people have said these are strong. I personally don’t agree when I compare them against really strong fragrances maybe they are strong for designers, sadly they’re pretty weak. Fortunately, the feminine version is stronger than the masculine on me.

I respect your review, but I am having the opposite experience - it lasts all day on me and is, from my perspective, quite strong. I think the "Parfum Sensuelle" name is fitting, because this has a "slow simmering" feel on me all day. After a long day of wearing, I can still detect it, slowly emanating in the background, just like a perfume would perform. My spouse also confirms that they indeed still perceive it on me. It's a deep, chocolatey feel that lasts and lasts. Now, I do live in a warmer climate - but for all those out there that are disappointed in this review, I wanted to give a different perspective.

What a waste! Instead I would've loved an Angel bottle that was gold like Alien Goddess with such a profile, if not then orange or copper colored similar to croisiere. At least it would've looked appropriate for a star shaped bottle with a tropical scent profile. :/
Was the "tar note" criticized or praised. Because I have regained interest in wearing Angel for men. Because I think it was one of the most unique and nice-smelling fragrances. Its potency was the kicker.

I got a sample of it. It reminds me of a more modern, semi freshened up, no tar version of the og. Easier to wear, more versatile. Have a few other frags that do what this does so I might pick up later. 8.5/10
L'Oreal's Fantasm sounds like a miss. Especially for the anticipated prices. I'll stick with Ultra Red, Star Man Nebula, and Insurrection Wild 2. Even Animale Animale. Much cheaper and way more variety with decent performance.

Men's R.L. Polo Blue EDT is the Absolute worst for any projection in a fragrance at all what so ever! Can't even smell it after spraying on. It's disgraceful really, & of course paid well over $100.00 for the large size, & stuck w/ it. :(

So annoyed at the prices they charge for designer now & there is no guts to it. Also cannot get on the middle eastern perfume houses & they come with that petrol smell that requires maceration. In some cases they never improve & I have thrown them out. They must be pumping them out so quick they have not had time to mature at all.

Never understood why they got rid of the Styrax that in my opinion gave that significant Tar note Is it smellwise comparable to A*Men or other notes? Clarins made Ultimate, from what I've heard.
They've done a very good job with Armani, Valentino,Viktor & Rolf, Azzaro and YSL Other reviewers state that Fantasm has good performance.

They do have to macerate. I almost return my Alien hypersense , but after sitting for 2-3 weeks , it got better . Still nothing like an original.

So annoyed at the prices they charge for designer now & there is no guts to it. Also cannot get on the middle eastern perfume houses & they come with that petrol smell that requires maceration. In some cases they never improve & I have thrown them out. They must be pumping them out so quick they have not had time to mature at all.

A*Men Fantasm is ok..nothing amazing
I am not even curious about TM since they have changed the formulas and name.Deception; even body 🧴; the dna 🧬 the structure was perfect all each of them.
Now in this year,all of parfumies without performance. Loreal is really bad. This parfume is not good😞

Fantasm is not good, way too sweet, cloying..like Tom Ford Noir anthrazit with sweet caramel 🫣🤮 no one likes it here in germany.. whaat? this has nothing to do with original A Men Never 👎
