Some people don't want me to decide on camera if I like a fragrance or not. They prefer no first impressions videos. They want to me to test everything and tell people exactly what they are like. And I'm like I don't even have time to test every single fragrance. But according to some I should test before I decide if I like a fragrance or not. Not judge from smell alone? LOL! I was like crazy what the heck? Who's got time for this many fragrances? I only wear and test fragrances I love the smell of. ;)
HA! Rêve d'or is like the ultimate oldschool fragrance . I think my grandpa used to wear it, and it costs about 10 bucks or 150 mad around here for 423ml. About Bensimon, it's a Sephardic Jewish name, it's actually very common in North Africa. I believe the creators of the brand were born in Algeria, but immigrated to France and created their own brand. Ben means son in both dialectal Arabic and Hebrew, so it would be like "Son of Simon".
Yes, very interested in a video on Oriza L. LeGrand! The Heliotrope sounds amazing. I'm exactly that category you hinted at: not turned on by "gourmand," per se (was quite repelled by cloying vanilla frangrances) but intrigued by the idea of a bit of gourmand-like sweetness, also "powdery." Guerlain's L'Homme Ideal Extrême was the first fragrance that jumpstarted me slightly out of my anti-gourmand prejudice with its notes of plum and almond, just exquisite.
Fantastic haul! I’m hoping I can catch some after Christmas specials when I head over in December. Oh and thank you for showcasing Azuree! It came out in 1969. It was my first grown up scent as I loved it so much when my oldest sister wore it she bought it for me. So far the reformulation has not strayed too far from the original thank goodness.
Wow what a haul 😍. Yes please to an updated video on Orzia L Legrand. They make beautiful perfumes and I ❤their packaging. Horizon is amazing, and it really gives me 1920’s Gatsby vibes…
Can you give some tips on bringing over several perfume bottles in flights? Is too many a problem during baggage checks? Do you throw away their boxes to reduce weight? Since you are a frequent flyer, any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
It's a risk but I haven't had any issues. I always check in and carry samples and very small atomizers with me without any problems. The only time I was stopped was when I brought back a bag of Louis Vuitton perfumes from the Paris Duty Free and I was asked what the value was.
Love the Haul Videos. I am very interested in the Advent Calendar from Harrods. I have already ordered the F&M Tea Advent Calendar (Piccadilly House). I need a fragrance Advent Calendar. Have a Great Day! Cheers! 🎉🎉🎉😁
I got the Harrods advent calendar from my husband for Christmas and I'll open the whole thing Christmas day, Harvey Nichols fragrance calendar too. So excited for Christmas day 😊😊
adore your content!! I have noticed that Reminiscence Patchouli is no longer available here in the US...any other reasonably priced alternatives? I'm heartbroken!
Cheers Sebastian a wow haul as Always. You spoil us each trip lol . And of course you obviously have to give your thoughts and descriptions of what you’re showing us , do precisely what you know and do so damn well , onwards to 300k for sure ✌️🙏🤛
I recently tried to buy minis in a Christmas release from a UK company. They had it on their European website and it was such good value. The only problem was it wasn't for sale outside the UK and I was so mad 😆. They let you buy it and then cancel your order. I wanted the mini Carmina from Creed for my purse so bad!
WOOHOO. Yes I'm so happy to have one. And to have met an SA while there and she's turned out to be my personal Harrods shopper! If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have been able to get one because first attempt they were sold out. But some were uncovered. Woohoo!! :)
Liberty did one two years ago, it was fabulous. I grabbed the Space NK frag one cos it’s great value but not amazing curation like Liberty and Harrods.
I really like Rouge Trafalgar Esprit but it smells like a combo of the original + Burberry her which was also create my Francis Kurkdijan. So rather than purchase a full bottle I’ll layer until my bottles are empty & then I’ll consider purchasing RT Esprit.
The Amber Intrigue doesn't have a convincing date for me, more cinnamon and strawberry. The sweetness with the soapy feeling (now I've said it you'll notice) is really clashing. I was repulsed more than smelling butyric acid. The chamomile is non-existent and it is a coumarin bomb.
@@ThePerfumeGuy the Dubai stores are a lot better (& cheaper for the same fragrances). You’ll have the time of your life! Must try - Resala, Diwan, Al Fareed, Jabal Al Tamya, Aseel Special Edition, Desert Falcon, Madawi, Sultani, Royal Oud, Taraf & Zumorod.
I'm going to try and find a really good deal or a promotion to buy it. I'll eventually review it along with the parfum of Soleil Neige. So hopefully soon! :)
It was sold out while I was in London so in August. But my SA messaged me around the early part of September and said we got some more in do you want any. So I jumped at it and bought it along with the Amber Intrigue. So I ended up with one! :)
I think it’s the idea of rhubarb with all the notes that they put together. They don’t really have to use rhubarb in a fragrance that smells like rhubarb they can create the smell.
rhubarb does not exist as an ingredient I believe. It can't be distilled into a scented oil; it's always recreated with other notes and synthetic (almost all fruity smelling notes are)

Out of 12 perfume purchases this year my favorite one is Perfumer H Rain Cloud 😍😍😍

Daaang that Harrod’s calendar looks like a WAY better value than the crap we get in the US.
Sebastian, we definitely needed another haul video! Thank you! 😊👍
“Really really great, really wonderful “= wallet draining
Missed "And really loved it" 😂
Awesome haul Sebastian !!!! Azuree is a classic favorite of mine. Yes...please on the further videos on Piver and Oriza lines !

Hi! Great reviews as usual! I'm curious about the newest Diptyque releases...any plans to give those a sniff for us?
I've been asking and asking!! I own Lilyphea, my favorite from the new releases but Bois Corse is beautiful too.
Can you give some tips on bringing over several perfume bottles in flights? Is too many a problem during baggage checks? Do you throw away their boxes to reduce weight? Since you are a frequent flyer, any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
Christine Nagel ALWAYS does a good job: one of my favourite noses besides Bertrand Duchaufour ❤
Yes
Fantastic haul! I’m hoping I can catch some after Christmas specials when I head over in December.
I was underwhelmed by Dior's Extrait line. I agree with you, Rouge Trafalgar Extrait was the only one I liked.
YAY that one is delicious!! :)
How was Ambre Nuit?
I agree: go all-English or all-French. I can't stand mixing them.
Cool Video! Any tips on travelling with a lot of fragrances internationally? Would be interested in hearing your tips. Thanks.

Hauls are great and can’t wait to try 54 from u and JR
Haul videos are always fun.
The black bottle perfume from the high end Montblanc collection reminds me a lot of Ganymède / bois impérial
I haven't compared side by side but will have to test/try.

Erevan is named after the capital of Armenia (Yerevan). The brand is fairly new - launched in 2021. ❤
I bought the Harrods Beauty calendar and it was superb.
I bought Barenia as a guy and am obsessed
camomille satin is really really nice😁
I haw horizon and is great...similar with real pachulli from bois 1920!
And yes ...please make an update for Oriza l legrand 🙏
Harrods calendar is almost impossible to get 🙄
Hi there. In your nose we trust ☘️✨💪🏼🇺🇸
Hello!!
Hey Sebastian!❤❤ great haul!😊
Ah, L.T. PIVER is great ❤
The Heliotrope, the Musc and the Russian Leather are marvellous 😊
Great video. - as u have 1000+ bottles. Its hard to decide which to wear right? & also does some loose their potency beyond 5yrs+?

Snagged the advent calendar after the fourth attempt for £185 absolutely worth it!!!

Hi! thanks for the great reviews! what is the french discount store please?!
That rouge trafalgar price is quite steep.. although i really like the more "intense" smell but i end up buying the old version 😅😅
I really loved diptyque orpheon and Clive Christian Blonde Amber, both are very expensive anything else that's similar I can try?
I really like Rouge Trafalgar Esprit but it smells like a combo of the original + Burberry her which was also create my Francis Kurkdijan. So rather than purchase a full bottle I’ll layer until my bottles are empty & then I’ll consider purchasing RT Esprit.

Omg you got the calendar! They were sold out in August online 😒
That molecular scent that has American in it sounds really good
Great haul Seb 🤌😇🤌😇🤌

They are fun aren't they?
*Did you manage to pop into the Arabian Oud store opposite Selfridges whilst you were here in the UK?*
I have done that in the past. Now I'm off to Dubai. Maybe I'll go to their store in Dubai. I'm assuming they have many stores there! :)

Yes I have featured a few in a video or two!!

Not yet. Anxious to try it!! 😀
That galbanum note in Camomille Satin gives me pause🤔.
I remember you mentioned this! :(
I watch you for your opinions bc I trust your nose!!!
Thank you. 🙏🏼
Aside from Areej le Dore. You have to redo your PANA DORA video.
No rhubarb note in a fragrance named rhubarb.🧐
I think it’s the idea of rhubarb with all the notes that they put together. They don’t really have to use rhubarb in a fragrance that smells like rhubarb they can create the smell.
