- hey y'all,
for this week's video, i decided to switch things up towards a more creative-ish approach.... i've been dying to make one of these tiktok inspired glass paintings for a while now and since i wasn't too busy last weekend i was like.. why not? although this was quite time-consuming, i do not regret it one bit! painting this proved to be really relaxing and fun which i guarantee you guys will experience as well. i also wanted to mention that i experimented with new editing styles for this week's video (◔◡◔) and i really hope you guys enjoyed!

This looks so good!! I love how you put the manga in the frame it added a nice touch! did you use a sharpie paint marker or just a normal black sharpie? And did you have to go over it to make it look opaque? I’m thinking of trying this 😭
ahh thank you so much!! i used a normal sharpie but i've heard that the paint markers are better so if you have that, then you the paint marker. also, yes i did go over it to make it opaque, hope this helped!!

Does the acrylic paint crack? If so, do you seal it with anything to prevent it.
What colors did you use for the skin and shadows? I'm planning on doing a glass painting myself but I'm not so familiar with mixing skin tones

don't worry you'll do amazing! i used red, yellow, a bit of brown, some blue, and a little bit of a peachy colour (unbleached titanium)

Do you recommend the Sharpie pen ?
yes it worked for me, but if you have a paint-based pen, you should go for that instead

What kind of marker did you use? Did you just use a sharpie and it didn’t smudge?

I have a question, when you covered your finish product on the frame and you want to remove it again, did your paint stick on the wood cover? If not what should i do to avoid it? Mine keeps sticking on the cover of the frame and it ruins it☹
no i did not experience that issue, i suggest leaving the paint to fully dry

tysm! and ofc! so to mix suga's jacket, i believe i used black with the tiniest amount of white to lighten it. if you want specifics, i used titanium white and regular black paint to mix! hope this helps

how big is the frame?
the frame is 33 cm x 33 cm
DO NOT USE A SHARPIE. Use a paint pen, the sharpie will smudge and look bad.
