Dinky and well made looking little unit! Looks more like a radio 😁 I like the little slots allowing access with tools that's well thought out. Is this any quieter than the 5 and 8KW heaters?
Hi Daniel. I will run an 8kw and this little 2kw in a head to head with just 1 Litre of diesel each and see how they do. It idefinitely uses less but makes less heat too. Thanks fo commenting Cheers Gerry👍👍👍
Hi Gerry. I'm enjoying the continuing review of diesel/kerosene heaters. This one is cute little guy. At 2KW I think it is really only suitable for a small area. Your experience with Bluetooth and it not always working smoothly is not unique to these heaters. I've seen problems where Bluetooth works fine for one person and not at all for another for things like headphones, car audio and external speakers. I've seen it work one day and the next, not at all. It's a bit strange because if devices conform to the standards they should just work, right? -mike
Hi. I would look for a biger unit if you are on the edge. If the weather were to get into minus figures with wind and snow the smaller unit may not be able to overcome your heat loss. Hope this helps. Cheers Gerry👍
Hi Harry. It comes with the power supply and also a lead for a 24v or 12v battery connection. It takes both dc voltages without issue. Hope this helps Cheers Gerry
@Harry-sv2qr It comes with a power supply to run off the grid and another cable that will allow it to run on 12v and 24v. No problem with power cuts or just running off a vehicles battery. Cheers Gerry👍👍
Another brilliant video Gerry!! Keep up the great work.. I look forward to the next one! 🥰
Wow, great video thanks for sharing! Brilliant to get your insight on the heater - neat looking little unit
Hi Mpowr It is a very tidy little unit and feels well made and solid. Thanks for commenting much appreciated Cheers Gerry 👍👍👍
Brilliant heater. Compact, economical, more than enough for a van, workshop or garage. 5/8kw is an overkill.
Great review Gerry, another UA-camr took the 5kw and the 8kw apart and all components were equal , he could find Nothing to get that extra 3kw?
Did you ever record output temps or chamber temps? Just curious how it performs versus a 5kw in that sense.

During startup I thought there was a few minutes where it was louder and then it settled down to about the same. Hope this helps Cheers Gerry👍👍👍
This video convinced me to buy one but theyre out of stock 😢
Lol
Thanks Gerry - nice compact machine - any idea about fuel usage compared to the 8kw?

So how long did that 1L of kerosene last? Probably depends on the settings, but at full tilt....?

Just curious how much can you exstand the air intake?
Might be a silly question, if I need about 2Kw of heat, am I better with a 2 Kw heater running flat out of an 8Kw turned down?

Well done Gerry 👏very impressed.
Can this be used without power?

@GerrysDiy yeah that's fine thanks. I take it you couldn't use it in a power cut though
