Kudos to you for this immersion! What an ambassador you are of Nigeria! Maybe Lagos, though filthy, is not as bad as it is always reported to be. I know you are a great dad, and you would not put your daughter in jeopardy. Your years in Lagos has taught you that, if anybody is to accost you and your daughter in broad daylight, that person will be lucky to escape with his life intact. My staying in China for ten years does not make me Chinese. But you staying in Nigeria for 10 years can make a a Nigerian. That is the difference of our culture. Welcome to the largest black nation in the world.
yes, but not so much difference deeply inside chinese and nigerian cultural. l appreciate both. l found my way living here in lagos gets me back to my childhood city Wuhan. we walked to the bus station to take a bus, we bought street food to eat breakfast, we eat peppery and well seasoned food, we talked emotionally with very loud voice, we joked any way we can, we fighted with anger but handed each other's hand again. Nice video but I will be honest..Your daughter is too young to be out on the street wandering in the that busy area under the hot sun like that. Must have been very daunting for her. I was in similar hustling and bustling Lagos area like that some time ago and after a few mins I had to find some shelter and a cold drink as it waa exhausting. Another thing, those Okada rides are dangerous as one can easily fall off and hit their heads and bicycle helmets are non -existent not to mention urgent emergency health services should you require it. Please be careful...again thanks for sharing. I do appreciate it.
to be honest I fell the exact contrary. my daughter knows only these streets, don't you see that she is an african ? What should I do keep her inside all her life because there is a lot of life outside the house. I think this would be a lo t more dangerous or harmful for her future... Yes it is busy, noisy and polluted, this is not really good, from that side...But on the other side, the best way to open yourself to the world and to the other, is to do a step outside and meet people interact into this world , see every aspect of the life. I feel these walks outside are almost more important than a maths or English lesson. We talk with people, meet some nice guys, and some less nice, we learn how to deal with people, traffic, .....,observe positive things and negative things, we discuss about it... I feel this is the best school. thanks for your feedback, and for watching the video !
@@Ludo_Liu i understand your point thoroughly and understand that your daughter is a Nigerian citizen. However, you don't see any other 3 year old Nigerian kids weaving in and out of that hustle and bustle, dealing with strangers some whom are unpleasant as they are nice and that traffic. I feel the same way when I see those child street sellers weaving in and out of traffic. It is just not safe as should anything happen the Nigerian authorities or emergency services would be few and far between. Authentic Nigerian life can be experienced in more peaceful, sane and safe settings/environments which is my point. Anyway again, thanks for sharing. You asked for opinions and so I hope I have not offended you with mine. I really do enjoy your videos.

As long as your mind and heart is pure about Nigeria as a whole. Welcome to Nigeria once again even though you said that you have been here for 10 years. My staying in China for ten years does not make me Chinese. But you staying in Nigeria for 10 years can make a a Nigerian. That is the difference of our culture. Welcome to the largest black nation in the world.
He's french, not chinese
@@tobilobaokorodudu9594 He is referring to his own stay in China
yes, but not so much difference deeply inside chinese and nigerian cultural. l appreciate both. l found my way living here in lagos gets me back to my childhood city Wuhan. we walked to the bus station to take a bus, we bought street food to eat breakfast, we eat peppery and well seasoned food, we talked emotionally with very loud voice, we joked any way we can, we fighted with anger but handed each other's hand again. So did the way l love Lagos❤

ah ah yes I had to do it :) I use to tell people my mum knew before i was born that i'll be coming to Nigeria.
that ' s maybe why she gave me that name. That s a pretty cool ice breaker, and always nice when i meet someone
hi, my name is Ludo, like the game... ludo game.

Nice to know, I also wondered when I first heard your name🙂. Nice video Mr Ludo.
Yes Ludo I will flog you 😆🤣🤣because all this Nigerian Okada drivers few of them understand what safety really means 🤔
yes this is really true, that was not the safest move here... I think it was her second time on a okada, i really try to avoid to confront them to such risky thing

ah ah ah i am not sure she would be ready to stay here alone without her parents and sister :)
@DemiKhay Naija {History} if you don't understand the word 'wandering' just say so.No need for sarcasm.
to be honest I fell the exact contrary. my daughter knows only these streets, don't you see that she is an african ?
@@DionneEguono Erm there are MANY children weaving in and out of the hustles and bustles of Lagos. Stop projecting your experiences on others, especially if they are okay.
@@jaydaksy4094 Who the F are you to tell me what to write and how to think? My opinions are valid and I will not change my view because of dorks like you. As I said it is dangerous for 3 year old toddlers to be weaving in and out of traffic especially in a country like Nigeria where emergency services are not only few and far between they are not fit for purpose. Now Please shoo!
What a brave little lady. A future Amazonian!! Lagos's filth and chaos is overwhelming an otherwise modern city. People in charge need to be held responsible.
People littering need to be held responsible
@@Biobele The government should be held responsible for not setting up laws and provisions for proper disposal of waste. What happened to KAI?
@@opemalik7181 we the people can chose to stop throwing thrash out of moving vehicles, as well as dumping waste in the middle of the roads, govm't does not have to tell you not to do that for you to know you shouldn't do that.
Yes govm't should do more but the people need to do even much more
