Hello Aaron, because these steel products are made to withstand everything from hurricane winds to arctic snow they will be more expensive then your traditional ground mount. However, it is like comparing apples to oranges. These mounts can be erected high in the air offering use of the space beneath, all while being assembled on the ground. This reduces the installation time significantly and keeps your feet safely on the ground. Another benefit is the tilt adjustability increasing your overall power production.
