@@anthonyantohe2227TLDR: I don’t think you need XL plates. Honestly tall guys normally don’t need XL. Your torso measurements decide your plates. Never met a Marine or soldier who actually needs XL plates. It’s extremely rare so rare the standard stock quantity for a 1500 man battalion with UIF is 4 plates(so two people) and those are not issued normally unless requested by someone who can get a O3 signature. A 6’7” 270 pound meaty Marine with a fat torso only measures for a Large. And he has a long torso. If you need help sizing let me know I’ll help you through the comments.
Lmao, why don’t you research Lucas and his father and their cult, the way the treat “fellow Americans” who they don’t agree with. Dude is a fraud and this is just a character.
I ordered this carrier & the special threat plates, within 5 business days everything was delivered & I am very happy with the products. Thank you T.Rex arms.
As someone with angled traps, I appreciate the incorporation of the 5-6 degrees of angle to the shoulder straps. I had to completely ditch an old plate carrier specifically due to it have vertical straps, which proved to be incredibly uncomfortable and painful when wearing the carrier for extended periods, even with shoulder pads.
2.0 needs shoulder straps that can accommodate more cable management and routing of camelbacks and other equipment. Also, sholderstraps that aren't sewn into the carrier. 3rd party support is nice.
The upside down large cumberbund pouch is really smart. Interesting how the AC1 was originally a minimalist carrier but clearly there is demand for more minimalist (AC0) and more built out (AC1.5).
One thing i really wanted from the AC1, and i hope to see from the 2.0 or whatever iteration, is the ability to put a backpack on the back whether it be molly or zippers like some other competition.
Sick Lümtec watch. I’ve had the same one for a little over two years now. And tbh it’s the best damn watch. I beat the heck out of mine especially when I was active duty. Still not a scratch. The nato strap gets stinky sometimes but I just swap it for a new one every 6 months or so. I wish more people know about that company because I feel like they are pretty slept on.
The detailed videos you do for each product with all the parts and features take 95% of the frustration our of picking and choosing products. With other manufacturers it's just a handful of photos or maybe a short UA-cam video that's really nothing but music and a few closeups.
I have a taps rig and was wondering if the taps rig would be ok on this carrier loaded with 8mags , radio, etc. Or would that be too heavy on this type of carrier
not having built in coms routing on the side of the plate bag is such a miss, doesnt make the product a bad buy, just sad to not see a simple feature on a really feature packed carrier.
Lucas, you and crew come out to OP Copperhead again and bring me a blem 1.5, color doesn't matter. I'll put that carrier to the test in the AZ desert and at Milsim events💯

pls don’t stop making the ac1 there’s still a want for a in between for people hwo want to be able to add on or take down depending on situations, not all of us have the money for 2 diffrent carriers so similar
Qore’s Plate carrier heat test makes me want mesh on the carrier inside not tweave. Mesh does better and the AC1 tested near the top of the carrier list with that mesh.
Crye: $266 Ferro: $335 Velocity Systems: $338 Mayflower: $276 Spititus: $285 5.11 : $220 You can get an Airsoft carrier for $40 if that's what you want.
That’s kind of the point. This is where the boring nerd gear knowledge is. Some folks love it, some don’t. That’s fine. It’s why we have multiple channels with different priorities and flavors. 👍
I really appreciate that TRex Arms is one of the few companies that actually care to do stuff for civilians. Don't stop.
Hear, hear. I'd rather buy one of these "by civilians, for civilians" carriers than anything else.
Except tall civilians #NoXL

T-H-I-S is how companies should properly upgrade their products. With actual meaningful and thought-out changes/additions to their product(s)
Send me one to review. I have no channel or followers but i can leave a google review 😂
Yea send this guy one. Broke ngga hours are srs
@Jeffplsgo it was a joke i'm so sorry

Nah, get him an AC1.5!
Ayyye my boys! 🫡🤝👊
Already have an AC1 but the angled shoulder straps and upgraded cummerbund is exactly what I was looking for so will be picking up a AC1.5 now

seems like a really solid piece of kit.
Are you guys going to make a chest rig compatible with the placard mounting system?
The tilt in the straps is 1% more comfortable without break in. With break in you don't need the tilt in the straps.
Lucas is a knower.

You guys need to adopt the Mil/Halo/Warhammer 40k naming convention of "AC1 Mk. II" or something like that lol
Go outside, please
@@jb76489go inside please you uncultured swine
And call it "war gear."
Radio wings but no cable management lol love you Trex but that would have been a super easy feature to add while you were upgrading the carrier
What would be a good way to run side armor on this pc?

Seems legit over the previous model tbh. Send me one 😂
Could we see these under nightvision?
What is the name of the placard used in this video?
Hows the comfort and durability compared to something like Crye JPC 2.0 series?
Hoping you guys get a side plate holder for this. When your arms hold your rifle up, your vitals are exposed to your left and right.

Ferro concepts assault cummberbund will work with this and you can add soft or hard armor with it.

Dude the elastic cumberbun is waaaay too small. Also, having an option to add a qd adapter would be nice.
Coyote sold out or not available yet?
Haven’t gotten them in yet. Jump on the waitlist and you’ll hear about them once they arrive
incredible content as always, sorry but where to buy the shirts

Looking forward to the day the ac1.5 is in stock!

Now attach an avs harness to it

When is the cummerbund for armor coming?
Chiseled? Girthy? Hmm okay Lucas

Lucas, do you think you guys would ever put on a pistol/rifle training class? Is that something that could be discussed?
Only if you’re a high speed cool guy and the government is writing the checks
Possibly in the future.

I am not paying $250 for a plate carrier. 😒
Those are crye jpc prices anyways
You did for a weight loss plan and look where that went
LOL you think $250+ is too much? Go buy temu then.
Crye: $266
Ferro: $335
Velocity Systems: $338
Mayflower: $276
Spititus: $285
5.11 : $220
You can get an Airsoft carrier for $40 if that's what you want.
Not a 250$ carrier. Insane price
Until you go and piece together the same thing from similar companies and run into the $300 range.
Then go buy garbage from Temu if you want a cheap carrier.
