  • The Lagos-Ibadan railway is one of Nigeria Railway Modernization Project which is cutting accross about 10 Nigerian cities to connect Lagos to Abuja and other cities in the north of Nigeria.
I boarded the train to the largest city by land mass, the city of Ibadan, where the british established Nigeria's first university in 1948. That is one of the places we'll be visiting in the coming days, so like the video and subscribe to the channel for the update.
We started boarding the train at exactly 3:30pm as scheduled.
For security reasons, military and police personel traveliing on the trian off duty were required to submit their arms with the railway personel on the train to ensure safety of passengers.
Inside the train, there are armed police personel on duty patrolling the coaches in a really professional manner.
After roughly 3 hours on the train, we arrived Ibadan train station.

Commendable. However, the sights and sound of the country side as the journey progressed would have been interesting and educative

Let the igbos hold their lawmakers/Governors responsible for their slow pace in development instead of concentrating their bitterness towards the yorubas.
    Yorubaland is getting there gradually.

@@ochiegodfrey6428 You can disagree and share your opinion and thoughts without insults. What he said isn’t necessarily incorrect because you can apply it to most states around Nigeria it doesn’t matter the region. Everyone should hold their leaders accountable. But we should not insult ourselves but work together. Give credit where it’s due and learn from each other. I’ve learnt many things from people in all the zones in Nigeria.

Nope! Those are Indomine noodles ads in posters and stickers pasted to the wall of the train station and seats inside the train. Before we know it they will mess up the whole thing. We know our dirty attitude toward maintenance and management in this country. It is preposterous!
