I am so glad I found you. Instructions were so easy to follow. I knew I needed to make changes I just didn't know where to start. Please do show how you did your hair for this video. I like the softness and casual look. Thanks
I'm 62 (still feel like eight!). I haven't worn eye makeup for 20 years and never thought I'd be able to again. After watching your video and applying my makeup step by step while watching again, I couldn't stop looking at my beautiful eyes. THANK YOU
I can relate to all of this. I rarely use eye makeup and when I do, I hate how it looks. I'm going to try it again! Also, I'm 60 and I can't get used to this new decade. Sometimes I feel 12, sometimes I feel like I'm in my 20s or 30s. But I don't know what 60s is supposed to feel like other than the boring stereotypes.
This is the best advice I have found! In my early 50s and struggling with trying to wear my makeup the way I always have. Guilty of the eyeliner and lip liner/lipstick mistakes for sure! Watched this just in time for my son’s wedding this weekend. Thanks so much for sharing your skill with us mature women out here thinking we are still in our 20s!
I "wondered" why my go to makeup tricks just weren't working for me; showing the "old" way we were taught versus the fresh look you provide is incredible. No more old lady mouth for me! Thank you!!
This is by far the best tutorial I've seen for make up for mature skin. It is the first time I've heard of applying the eyeliner the way you did. I tried it and wow, what a difference.
I'm 70 and retired. I still apply a full face of makeup every day and even wore light makeup to the hospital for shoulder surgery recently! I always want to look my best. I was glad to learn some new tricks from your video and will be trying them tomorrow! Thank you!
I wish more makeup tutorials were taught with extreme close-ups. It is difficult to see the technique without it. Thank you for considering this in the future.
I have an uneven/asymmetrical facial shape and I am 77. All your hair and makeup suggestions have really helped me a lot and I feel have enhanced my appearance and helped me feel younger again. Thanks a million.
Oh, my goodness, I thought I applied my makeup so well...because I learned in my teens. It stopped looking right some time ago...now I know why! Thank you!
This was life changing for me! I just turned 50. I did everything on the “wrong side” and started to not like wearing makeup anymore, until now! Thank you for sharing 💕
Luv the eye tips bc at 62 w most thinking I'm 42 and I'm feeling 32, I quit wearing liner bc of heavy lids. It's hard to do any definition w damn droopy lids so I started just lining my bottom inner eye area w grey. Really pops my blues. But I will so give your tips a try. Thanks. Pretty eyes!
Wow: the 'old lady lip'. I'd never understood what the problem was that created that cold snarl, but you've explained - and fixed - it perfectly. Thank you!
IKR I’m not 50 yet but because of my medical issues I quit wearing makeu try p because I kept feeling like I looked worse after applying than I did with no makeup but I still on special occasions and even sometimes when I want to look good just for me I would try to wear makeup but end up a horrible mess that I would just wipe off everything and go without now u can try to wear it again! The same as the fashion & bodyshape tips!! THANKYOU!! I was once a cosmetician & worked for Christian Dior promoting Poison the perfume when it was initially distributed. I prided myself on my make up but recently I had already realised my style was dated & a bit unflattering. So being given alternatives & the less is more techniques you have shown give me hope of looking glamourous once again but in a more discreet way! Wonderful!!
You are just lovely! I used to be a makeup artist in my 20's and have always loved makeup! However, now that I'm 61 years old, my old 'techniques' just don't look that great .. LOVE your tips on eyeliner, blush and lipliner! Thank you so much!

Thank you! I learned a lot! Not only does the “bad side” accentuate the drooping, it makes us look as if we’re stuck in the 80’s. 😳 I don’t know if you have done a tutorial on hair styles and aging, but an idea? 🤷♀️
as a long time professional Make up and hair artist and beauty product management professional, i can agree with her. I'ts hard to convince woman to change their technique later in life. Nice tutorial ;)
When your skin even at 50 remains generally flawless and your bone structure is perfect, you can look like this. High end cosmetics also help. Do this with the average 60 year old with sun damage, enlarged pores, marionette lines and saggy eyelids.
I believe there are useful techniques for the problems you’ve mentioned. My guess is start off with a good skin regime and eat well lots of fruit and veg has been proven to give people a glow 😊 then moisturise with a product that your skin is happy with and works well with your base colour ( avoid a base colour/foundation that changes colour on top of your moisturiser) then play around with a few products and techniques until you find what works best for you. I tried above suggestions and they definitely helped me. Although I was a little uncertain about taking base colour below face it did actually help but I needed properly prepped skin which had been moisturised properly. Don’t forget it’s not about looking 21 again it’s about looking great for whatever age we are 😊 Have fun and keep that twinkle in your eyes
I like tinted moisturizers they even out the skin tone. Full on foundation just cakes up and develops creases. I think it also depends on where you live. My climate is extremely dry.
What I would like to see is a makeup tutorial with products that us ordinary mortals could purchase without breaking the bank. I love her suggestions and her positivity. Just glanced at her vid at first, ended up watching the whole thing and learned a lot! *mascara wand salute
Thank you. I’ve definitely been making some of these mistakes. At 62 my eyelids droop. I’m fortunate not to have many wrinkles, but the skin is thinner. I’m brand new to your channel. I’ve already subscribed. I will watch more of your videos.
Thank you for these make up tutorials and especially for leaving the product lines that you used. I have dark hair medium skin tones dark eyes as well when I go to Ulta there are 20 somethings are working and make recommendations for 20s to 30s skin and while I look useful I am in my 50s and need lighter colors that I’m not exactly sure how much how much lighter I should go. Would you address this in an upcoming videos thank you
I'm 36 and I thought your video was so cute and offered some really good tips for all of us! Your personality and teaching method are sweet and fun to watch! Thank you for sharing!
I just started using these techniques around my 45th birthday and everyone was sure I was in my 30's!! So simple yet so affective. Thanks for the wonderful tips. P,S. Not only does it make you look younger it also takes far less time. ♡
Yes, I've done this for years too, since 35 or so. Winged eyeliner was never right for me, and I learned the stop halfway technique by experimenting. Blondes look best with less. And pretty much always brown liner. Delicate palette for delicate coloring. And yes, everyone will guess you're 10 years younger.
Thanks for the video and tips! Would love to know what foundation is best for really dry skin. All I’ve used makes tiny wrinkles look more prominent..so I don’t wear any.
thank you so much for video, ive been doing my makeup over 50 years, always forget the tricks for agying face(i keep forgetting that my face is agying, until i look in mirror) & watch your very helpful videos!! ive been doing your exercise videos everyday,i thank u for your inspiration!!!
Not sure what prompted me to do a search and watch your video but wow am I so glad I did. After learning your tips, I brought new makeup and loooooves the result. I had just left the shop where I only used a few samples and then called into another shop where a friend was working. As I started talking (nothing to do with your youtube or makeup) and she butted in saying "wow your make up looks good. Did you do it yourself?" I told her what happened and I only had a tiny bit on. So i cannot wait to wash my face tonight and after a shower in the morning, apply it all properly. The makeup I purchased is predominantly vegan but it is delicious, I already adore its texture, look and feel even without doing it all properly yet. The best youtube i have watched as the techniques I can now apply to look more youthful are absolutely god sent! Thank you so very much. I purchased, pore refining primer, concealer, age renewal foundation, illumination, lip liner and setting spray just to name a few. Next i will be shopping for a make up cleanser and good day moisturizer and night cream. I will try find vegan again.

Wow! You are the best thing since sliced bread for me! You’re answering all the questions and addressing all the concerns I have about aging. Just turned 60 and I refuse to be old! You’ve inspired me. I’ve been doing your workouts every day for three weeks now. And I’ll continue! You make getting older more fun. Thank you, Schellea! ❤️❤️❤️ your videos!
Thank you for sharing all these great tips. If I had to choose just one, this trick with the eyeliner is probably the most useful advice I have ever had on makeup!
Great vid ..many thanks..I'm 53 and do this already ..I will add that for myself ..I never choose a shade of foundation that needs to be brought onto the neck etc ...I like to wear white and don't like it on my clothes
I came across your channel by chance and boy am I glad I did! This is a fabulous tutorial! I did a beautician course years ago and was taught how to apply makeup, but not how to modify it for mature skin. I am 55 and your tips make so much sense! I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you! 😊🥰😍
I loved and appreciated this video very much! You are so beautiful! I would love for you to share an updated video on your complete skin care routine and your make up routine also showing economical versions also. God bless and keep safe☺️
Excellent tips! Especially the blush tip. So many beauty you tubers put too much blush and too low on the cheeks. A Chanel makeup artist showed me years ago to sweep it up toward the temples and to buff it out with a large brush to blend it well. Also a soft color rather than a bright color is so much more youthful. I’m 66 yo btw. Thanks for posting! 🦋
Thank You for those tips, I always have trouble with eyeliner and now I know why, I’ve saved this video for next time I’m wearing makeup...Much Love from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺♥️♥️
It is soo much fun to listen to you! I'm 34. But I love your voice and you look so so beautiful! You have such an inner and outer glow! The happiness in your voice and face are so soothing. thank you! 😍Greetings from Germany 😃🌹
Thank you for all the tips--especially on the eyeliner. I do have a thought on your lip color, though; I think it is too light of an orange. Just my opinion, but I think a coral would be prettier. Thanks!
"Whoa I've got a lot of blush on today! How are you" 😂 Thank you so much for all these tips. Never heard the eyeliner one before, it looks great, so going to try that today. You look glowingly healthy as always x
WOW ! At 65+, I have been applying my makeup the same way since I was selling MK makeup in the 70's. I LOVE this new updated technique ! Always used black eyeliner to line the entire lid (top and lower) and you are most definitely right...looks great on younger eyes, but not on my wrinkly eyelids. Thank you so much for all your wonderful tips!! Looking forward to seeing all your videos !
Love all of your videos about makeup, hair, clothing tips and exercise. I know I'm missing a couple. You have helped me so much with it all... thank you!! ❤️
What a significant difference! Thank you for your guidance. I’m over 60 although I’m not showing wrinkles although at this point my eyelids are slightly drooping. Your suggestions are so right, I couldn’t believe the transformation.👏🇨🇦
"This is for young women...and THIS is for mature women." I feel like that holds true for a great many things. I love it. Subscribed. P.S. I'm sure you get the Olivia Newton John comparison a lot. I saw it in the comments below and think it's cute. I'm not Australian, but British, and I have sable hair and brown eyes. Once upon a time, however, I experimented with blonde and got the same comparison. I look nothing like Olivia, God bless her. But I did find myself having to point out that Britain and Australia are two different countries and the accents don't sound anything alike. You're very beautiful and I'm looking forward to more of your videos. Keep up the good work and Xanadu to you, mate!
I'm noticing that when you apply eyeliner you pull the eyelid. Since eyelids have the most delicate muscles, if they're stretched they will stay that way, I would suggest not pulling the eyelid at all. I'll be trying the "right" way to line the upper lid since it helps the eyes look much younger. Thanks for the tips.

Thank you for sharing all these great tips. If I had to choose just one, this trick with the eyeliner is probably the most useful advice I have ever had on makeup!
Im so happy you enjoyed the tips tfrnich Thanks for taking the time to comment ❤️
Great vid ..many thanks..I'm 53 and do this already ..I will add that for myself ..I never choose a shade of foundation that needs to be brought onto the neck etc ...I like to wear white and don't like it on my clothes
Hello julie..
How are you doing today?
Can you please tell me what color eye liner you would recommend for hazel eyes?
I love the geometry! It's also neat that the 50's routine actually takes LESS effort (and less makeup), once you get used to it
Everything you said made so much sense, and comparing each side really was amazing. The subtle adjustments made such a difference.
Thanks for taking the time to comment Kirsten Anderson! Have a great day 🌸

Yes please
Yes please
I came across your channel by chance and boy am I glad I did! This is a fabulous tutorial! I did a beautician course years ago and was taught how to apply makeup, but not how to modify it for mature skin. I am 55 and your tips make so much sense! I have subscribed to your channel. Thank you! 😊🥰😍
I loved and appreciated this video very much! You are so beautiful! I would love for you to share an updated video on your complete skin care routine and your make up routine also showing economical versions also. God bless and keep safe☺️
Thanks for your video suggestion veronica lacewell 🙏 Have a great day 💕
Excellent tips!
Hi Nellie! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tips! Thanks so much for watching...Have a great weekend 💕
Thanks!
Hello Brenda
How are you doing today?
Yes,yes!!💜💜👍👍👍
I love your video. So many great and useful tips! I wish you could make some with closer view. It gets harder to see as we age.
This is what happens when you’re so pretty that even the mistakes make you look good 😉
I have to agree with that
Exactly
She is very pretty. It’s amazing what a neck lift and lower face lift will do. Gorgeous.
Totally agree with this x
Botox!!!
Excellent advice!
I’m 68, I’ve never seen these tips. Your video is so easy to follow.
Thank you!
"Whoa I've got a lot of blush on today! How are you" 😂 Thank you so much for all these tips. Never heard the eyeliner one before, it looks great, so going to try that today. You look glowingly healthy as always x
Thanks so much for your comment F Horne! Im happy you enjoyed the video 🌹Have fun experimenting 🙌❤️
You have helped me so much with it all... thank you!! ❤️
Thanks so much for your comment Debra! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video 🌹
Hi Sarmatae1! I loved reading your comment! Thanks so much for subscribing...Have a great day 💕

Thanks so much for your comment! Im happy you enjoyed the video 🌹
Im not over 50. But a Mua thats wants to slay All kinds of clients. Thank you for your Channel ❤️
Thank you for eyeliner tip , I was definitely guilty of droopy eye . Will try yr ideas for sure .
