- I believe I said after I finished the jetfish to five pebbles run that I would not be taking any more creatures to pebbles. Well, I guess I lied.
This also took much more time than it should have ): From white lizards at the wall to the squidcada not complying to just not having bats spawn at all, what I expected to be a one-shot and maybe two-shot run if I messed up ended up taking like 5 attempts and a ton of weird preparations.
The illustrations were the most fun part of this video, I might do more in the future if applicable. - Ігри

Truly the intellectual variant of his species. I am quite impressed by the slugcat's endurance and ability to plan ahead as well as stay on task. A shame the squidcada nor the batfly could live up to it's expectations.

I don't know how important this is to say now that this video is quite old. The gravity in the mural room is dependent upon slugcat's y position in it. In theory you could wait for the bat to enter the lower door on it's own somehow if you waited at the top of the room, but doing so sounds obnoxious and an extreme waste of time, but it would allow the bat into the zeroG shaft ahead, where it would be stuck against the ceiling forever.

@@beastwarrior9264 It'd probably be a close range fighter, like Sonic. And holding B makes it cough up a random item, unless it stored one previously (like Villager but plus random item when nothing exists), and in no item games, it can only cough up rocks, maybe. Side B can be a slide, maybe get creative and do something like up B gives a squidcada boost, and down B does a friend lizard slam (that does random damage depending on lizard type). Or going with that, could have slugcat fight with a lizard friend like Rosalina and Luma. There's some options. Could also fuse it with other slugcats, have something like up B is Saint's Tongue, down B is Gourmand's Slam, maybe regular B is Artificer's Explosion, side B is Spearmaster's Spear Throw. And the A moves can all be relatively easy basic hits. Doesn't have to get complicated.
@@beastwarrior9264 with the downpour slugs you have quite a bit to work with. Aswell as the variety of tools slugcat can use, like sporepuffs, bombs etc

@@turtletoad7725 I recently brought a white squidcada with me to climb the wall and this is actually less of a problem than you may expect! At some point it starts to crawl across the surface instead of fly, but you need to let go of it. On numerous occasions I found that squidcada in the hallway right before 5P's room even if after leaving it in the nearest shelter, but going back in his can would've killed me so I couldn't bring it to him. Getting it through the entrance to his can would be hard, but not impossible; it may even go inside on its own accord
The fact you were able to do this in one cycle is really just incredible
Why did you need to end squiddy a few rooms before pebbles?
I'd imagine squidcadas would make the part where gravity starts being warped impossible
I killed it so it would drop the bat and not interfere anymore, along with those 0g room troubles that would surely happen if I didn't

I might be wrong but couldn't you just do an auto grab? You know where you fall or jump into the batfly and it will automatically grab it without killing it.
Bats will sometimes survive an auto-grab but will die seconds later if not released.

Can’t you play as different slugcats in different campaigns? If you can then use saint, since saint doesn’t kill batflies by grabbing them
yeah so this video was made several years before downpour was even announced
Why didn't you use a squidcada from outskirts?
outskirts is further away from pebbs and thus they'd have to travel with it even further with a higher chance of losing the batfly along the way
Hey, does anyone know what song is being used at 0:53? It doesn't seem to be in Rain World's OST.
It's one of the eight or so layers of the Garbage Wastes threat music, you can find it in the game files and hear it in the full threat music itself
