***** It's not a case of fun. It's the fact that the data obtained by them was always used badly. Whenever you see those things 6 or so months later the road would always get altered negatively. Go look on google maps. You can look at old google maps street view. Look at Salford and Lower Broughton. They changed a 5 lane road (3 in 2 out) into a 2 lane road. Each side now has a bus lane taking up a whole lane AND a half lane wide cycle lane too. So a 20 minute journey became a 70 minute journey. You'd think the buses would get there faster but the old choke points are now made worse meaning the bus lanes end and get stuck in the traffic too. So even bus trips take even longer. In Gateshead a similar thing was done. They used the data to prove it was too busy. After £3 million to put in the bus lanes and cycle paths. The council proposers who used it realised the massive mistake that it tripled travel times by cars, buses and bicycles. So they spent another £3 million putting it back the way it was. Me braking (mis spelling intentional) them prevents these crappy projects council empire builders do to justify their jobs.

"Some people's brains are wired to the old way keyboards were organised" - oh that explains why every PC mfr keeps redesigning their laptop keyboards then. Idiots.
You almost got the numlock thing right. but the numbers on a telephone pad are reversed from the keyboard numpad. The "1" is upper left on a phone instead of lower left on a keypad. So the keyboard keypad is modeled after a calculator.
Still not 100% complete. The numbers on the key pad are not 100% the same as the numbers at the top of the key board. The numbers on the keypad allow you to create ascii characters when the alt is held down too. Also accountants probably prefer the keypad too as apposed to the numbers across the top of the keyboard.
Wow really? I actually identify as an attack helicopter and am most upset that you assumed I am aggressive. My dome is for finding another attack helicopter. Being judged all the time has led me to isolation so the dome was my only choice to find another who would accept me. Please check your privilege and stop judging me and my attack helicopter kind based on the actions of a few.
Yeah, on the Apache it's called the Longbow radar and it's only on the D model helicopters, hence AH-64D Longbow. The Russian MI-28N Havoc also has a similar radar.
Dan Fissenden that's not true, im an apache mechanic in the 101st, the British still use the older alpha models, and are transitioning to delta models right now. where as the US is transitioning to the echo model. The newest version. These are an optional thing as the aircraft don't need them to effectively perform. But more often than not you will see them on delta models. Because they still use the old mission proccessors.
Johan Langworth lol, yeah I think that's it. I've seen this in a couple other vids as well, where nobody knows why they all landed on the same video from the recommended feed
The numeric keypad is far superior when entering a large amount of numbers. I'd also like to point out that not all Apache variants have the radome. The latest variant possesses overseas capability and can function as a mobile UAV controller on top of detecting targets and relaying that information to nearby vehicles and troops. It's one hell of an aircraft.
It's used in excel. Turn scroll lock on, click a cell, and then press the down key on your keyboard a lot of times. Now turn scroll lock off, and do it again...
There's a popular tool which have original use of scroll lock. MS Excel. Arrows on the kb will either change cells or scroll viewport, depending on scroll lock state. I like this key, as a programmer, because it's only key with state (like num or caps lock) which is virtually unused, so one can use it in own tools. Like one I made which allows e.g. when opening .jpg file - without scroll lock it opens some viewer, with sl on, it opens it in graphic editor. It's flexible, that's just sample use. Too bad almost nobody uses it nowadays. It's a nice key. Little, sexy key, but so lonely.
Klack 23 Why would anyone need to turn off the num pad, if not to switch to the navigational keys? It works the same as Caps Lock; i.e., Num Lock is to num pad, as Caps Lock is to letter keys. Besides, the words Home, End, PgUp, and PgDn, and the four arrows are clearly readable on the num pad keys. If you didn't know that, I bet there are two things you don't know about Windows keyboards: Start Menu button and Scroll Lock.
Oh. Num lock... really? Can you now teach us what caps lock do? :D :D By the way. Some toilets have buttons reverse... cause you would always want to use more flush.
spam both buttons rapidly until it breaks . call 911 and say there is a fire . than wait until firetruck come and tell them the bathroom is on fire . catch the bathroom on fire so that they spray in there . that is how you get an "extra full flush " !
The number keypad is a throughback to the days when computers were primarily used for business purposes. They represent the keys on an adding machine and were used for 10-key entry of numbers. That is why there is an enter key and plus key next to them.
numpad is not an obsolete remnant. if you're doing anything with numbers the numpad is essential, since it's a lot faster than using the number row and you can even learn to use it without looking.
Of course the numpad isn't obsolete, he is referring to the arrow keys that become active when numlock is turned off. He is saying the arrow keys are pratically worthless since there are already arrow keys you can access anytime below the delete key.
Except in California. And they are starting to show up in other states. I had one for a little while, but the flush mechanism was a bit dicey. Took too much to adjust it to work properly.
I helped in the training-process of many AH-64D pilots at the Hanchey, Airfield, into Fort Rucker, AL., for about 3 years. The civilian's with me were Mrs. Nancy and Ms. Terry. God bless them ladies!
Yeah, the traffic-counting tubes, I know them well, because here in my town about 16 years ago we had a two-lane highway connecting to a nearby city 11km away, and the traffic was pretty heavy, but the State refused to fund the expansion to double lanes unless the traffic was measured to be sure the local government wasn't just asking for an unnecessary project, so they installed the tubes and two weeks later they were DESTROYED by the constant vehicle crossing and heavy 18-wheelers. So the approval for expansion was given right away.
The apachi helicopter one is not for that it’s a anti air craft missile system is detects missiles and deploys flairs and if can be it will auto blow up missiles coming toward the helicopter
The "Scroll Lock" key and function is WAY more obscure. Still included as a legacy from the original 1981 IBM PC keyboard and programs. Does ANY program in the last 20 years use it?? For those not familiar with pre-Windows, pre-mouse DOS programs: activating "Scroll Lock" will change the function of the four arrow keys from moving the cursor around the screen (say, through a document or spreadsheet), to "nailing" it to the current spot on the screen, then the arrows will move/scroll the document underneath the cursor.

I didn't know all of these. I'm well-read, but not about electronics or aeronautic tech. I've flown in many planes but that doesn't mean I know what all the components are.
Those pneumatic tubes, when stretched across the road about 2 feet off the ground, do seriously bad things to a car's paint job and bodywork if someone drives into them without seeing them! I saw this happen once. I was coming up the road and I thought to myself, "What are those ropes doing, going over the road like that?" Just about at the same time a lady in a pretty nice BMW went right into them. They stretched out rather far and then the box thing they were attached to went slingshotting right into the side of her car really hard. Blew out the passenger window and destroyed that side's mirror! Scared the bejeezus out of her and totally FUBAR'd the passenger side of her car! I have to say, after knowing no one was injured, I started cracking up coz that shit was classic!
The number key-pad is vital if, like me, you work in a job that requires constant numeric input. In my job I type in numbers constantly. With the numeric pad I can do it one handed, while using the other hand to write, dial the phone, or whatever. Do away with it, like on a lap-top, and my work speed is reduced 90%. As for dual-flush toilets, they waste water. The "small flush'" does not manage to flush away a snotty tissue, and the larger flush does not flush away 'a number 2' so instead of one old style large flush (about 9 litres) I end up with 2 'water saving' flushes of 6 litres, total 12 litres, so the water saving flush used 3 more litres, hardly saving water......
NUmber 9: in Italy is also used to control semaphores that have low traffic. The semaphore is always red but when a vehicle is detected those strips turn it green.
Those static discharge whips also prevent some nasty shocks to whoever would touch the aircraft as it lands. With nothing to discharge the static build up the charge would likely not be discharged on landings.
the 3 ringed 3.5mm is sometimes used for composite video + stereo as well. (typically on cheaper product like low budget car dvd players with dual displays for the head rests. I've also seen it used on some display glasses. Typically for any kind of composite video where bigger connection wont fit
Really? Who doesn't know these. 4. One insulator would be MONO headphones vs "same sound to stereo" headphones. 3. Two flush buttons, DAH. Thanks to the tree huggers & low flow toilets not being able to "flush" solid waste; i.e. flush 7 times, give up, & leave an out-of-order sign on the door. Get your foot out of the bidet and use full flush for solids. 1. "Fire Control RADAR?" Far more than just a simple RADAR. Even the previous TADS (AH-1) did more than RADAR. I can say, "Green Lantern." Any more and you would have to be erased.

who the fuck eats only one tic-tac?
tic tacs were ment to be refreshing mints. back when they only sold the standard unflavored ones.
Bear-Dog ummmmm no comment
unflavored? Surely they had a flavor, it was just mint. Mint IS a flavor.

I have yet to even see #3. Most have a handle, but commercial places often have automatic ones sometimes with a button, just one button.
Yea... I know people who have them and I like to travel, but I never knew what the difference was.
i knew all of them! this is just stupid
The trickshot troll face on the helicopter's radar made me die on the floor laughing

He couldn't know the contents of the video without watching it.
Actually the whole thing is in the description... I bet Landon Keller read it before watching ;)

I love this channel. The narators reaffirm stuff I know and teach me things I didn't know.
Why Trump won?
L337 bcus he is handsome
bcus american gamburgers hasn't went to school. In other words; They're stupid.
congratulations
Trump won because nobody wants a president that doesn't send back up when troops are surrounded. Trump was the better chief in command.
Because the other option was even worse .
