Well done Mick. Useful for us non local guys to see the stretches. It's been a long time since I caught that many on my local Dorset Stour! Probably 30 years! Lol!
I’m moving to Hampton Loade from Stockport in Jan/Feb 2022 so I’ve recently started checking up for posts on UA-cam. Great footage and result Mick. I enjoyed your walking videos too. I can’t wait to move now.
Thats great m8. Great sencery and hiking to be done and fishing. Its always like I've had a mini breck when I vist the severn valley great place. And all the best for your move 👍👍🚂🎣
Enjoyable as always mick but wat a mess netting let the fish go upstream and back into net. Try the drennen 3 metre handle and shallower net with good mesh flow. Hope your not upset at my advice but I've fished 55 years and never had a problem netting fish. Keep up the good work mick great vids 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
@@Micks.barbelfishing.adventures location is absolutely key on rivers mate some stretches are better than others same thing with pegs..you can have 2 pegs only about 8 or 9 yards apart which doesn't sound like a lot but that extra distance to the next peg below or the next peg above can make all the difference in catching or blanking 👍
A very enjoyable video with some lovely hard fighting barbel, shame about the bramble problems, very frustrating. Haven't fished Quatford for many years but remember the long walk to the good swims and in particular the steep hill at the end of the walk back to the car. A real killer.
Well done mate you done well !!!Just a little bit of a observation but if u featherd the line when the rig is close to landing you will find it helps with tangles when useing braid hooklenths but well done bud👍
What a belting session that was Mick, worth the long walk and the battle with the brambles!! Those fish were all in good condition (apart from the small attack marks on one) and a lovely colour to them. Great video, as always.👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well done Mick, a cracking session and 5 barbel in November is pretty special. I’ve fished several BAA stretches on the middle Severn but not that one. The long walk was well worth it!
Spent so many happy days on Quatford but not been in years ... I love the peg just where that first line of trees crosses the field to the river, just after the faster water and there is or was a crease on the inside moving diagonally out in front of the peg.
Nic one mick looks like you were having fun with your landing net on that first fish. Good days fishing mate. I couldn't here any motorbike noises on this video 💨 🤣🎣
Cracking video Mick, congratulations on getting 1000 subs 👏, what a way to start on a new stretch, mint barbel all of them, worth the walk, tight lines, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig 🌿
It always kills me walking back up that hill on the way back to the car its like climbing a mountain lol Good session mate 5 Barbel well done. good stretch that is. I do good just further down stream end of the second meadow.
Be careful Mick, I got pulled over in the car park on BAA waters the other night, Bailiff told me you have to be off the fishery within 1 hour of sunset time, I always thought you could fish an hour into dark but apparently not..
hi Mick. brilliant video mate. Me and the Mrs watch them all. We tried the quatford stretch and lost two ! Tried the stretch down by Burts Lodge couple of days ago in the high levels hard fishing in these conditions! In your opinion Mick what's your favourite spot to fish on the Severn, not just to catch but surroundings and ease of access? keep up the entertaining video mate we love em. matt
Another good video Mick I tried underdale shrewsbury similar tactics Saturday but no joy keep the videos coming always enjoy them 👍🏻what boilies were you using😉
Really enjoy your vids Mick. Fished Quatford a couple of times this year but not the same results as you. Hope to bump into you on the bank sometime. Keep em coming mate.
You are doing well but.just sitting to far away from your rods mate . maybe it's just the way you fish .ps you need to be on them right away stoping them from getting staged up ???

Good catch mate...I think 90% of success on rivers is just being in the right place at the right time
I agree m8 alot of my fishing is just turn up and fish no expert advice like some. The footage specks for itself Cheers m8 🎣🎣👍
