Dark MatterX DM-1 Short Shifter Install on Subaru STI

This video features Erik with Dark MatterX, explaining the entire install process of the DM-1 short shifter into a 2018 Subaru STI with its factory shift assembly.
WRX/FORESTER OWNERS with 5-speed transmissions must install the 6-speed transmission shift arm with the DM-1 shifter.

If you have a 5-speed interior boot, it needs to be switched out with the corresponding years STI interior boot. Or the boot's opening needs to be cut large enough to fit around the DM-1 boot collar.
