My wife and I were deeply moved by your beautiful video of the land you love. This must be one of your best videos in my opinon. My wife could just pick out her childhood home location from the top view. May you continue to enjoy you time and thanks for sharing your joy.
The views, the waterfalls, the chats, the history…..so enjoy it all. So beautifully done. My Grandma always, spoke like you ,with love and emotion in her voice when she spoke of her wonderful Rhonda Valleys. She immigrated to Canada to join my Grandfather who left Wales to work the coal mines in Alberta.I feel like I am watching these videos with her. Thank you Sean.
Wonderful, the wife and I are thrilled to bits you've moved, you look so much happier, it's knocked 10 years off you! A sturdy pair of walking boots and walking pole is required for all your new adventures.
I never realised how beautiful the Rhondda is,walking clears the mind I find,im a new subscriber so working my way through your videos, and I agree with the other poster your videos are travel show worthy.
Hi Sean, thank you so very much for taking us on your journey up the mountain, it must take you ages to get all the camera settings right so we feel part of the journey. Looking over the top and down to the valley was very like the start of the 'sound of music' film, it fair took my breath away - and all this with your sore knee. Thank you and do take care of yourself, loved your choice of harp music too. Sitting here in Aus on a 28 degree day I could almost feel the cool mountain water - Jenny
Thank you Sean for promoting south Wales, my homeland. It irks me that it always seems to be Snowdonia, the Pembroke coast etc etc that gets the tourism stamp when South Wales has so much more to offer! ( In my opinion) . Well done. Enjoying your videos.
The Wales tourism board needs to pay him a fee because Wales has now gone on my 'must visit' list (I'm in Canada) due to Sean's recent videos. What he's shown us so far looks absolutely lovely and charming.
I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to have discovered your channel Sean. I live in a beautiful part of East Lincolnshire and my village is so small and quiet, but to experience the valley with you was breathtaking. As a lady with a few aches and pains I’m not able to get out as often as I once did so this was lovely for me. When you mention a cup of tea I think what a good idea and pop the kettle on. Your channel has helped me through these past few days and that is magical. Thank you 🙏🏻
Another wonderful video Sean. I’m recovering from a third major surgery in 18 months so I’m living vicariously through you at the moment. I used to live in Dorset in a beautiful place for walking but we always loved trips to the Brecon Beacons and we used to walk many miles to see the gorgeous waterfalls and caves. I hope to be visiting again this year. You look so much more at peace back in your homeland. Xxx
That was incredible. Im so glad your channel popped up on my feed earlier. Well done on reaching the summit Sean. What you have sadly lost by leaving London, you have gained ten fold by moving to this stunning area. I so hope you will take us viewers on some more adventures like this. I used to walk & climb in Snowdonia my whole life but sadly MS put a stop to that. Thankfully i have my eyesight & hearing & you tube is full of wonderful places to explore through the lens of others. Life is perfect when you escape civilisation. Today is the tomorrow you wprried about yesterday, and all is well. God bless, Annie
Your channel popped up in my feed a few days and down the rabbit hole I went. I enjoy your videoing style. Thanks for sharing your corner of the world. 🇦🇺
Sean you are really excelling in your film making since you have returned to Wales. Your skills are amazing and you have a way of drawing people into the film with your calming voice and with emotion carry on the journey with you. Absolutely spectacular x ❤❤probably the most beautifully filmed and edited video I’ve seen on UA-cam tube chuck thankyou. It’s 13 yrs since my Mum passed today and I felt like I was close to her watching this film from the top of the mountain xxx
You have such a wonderful voice. You should do books for Audible. People like listening to voices such as yours - calm, deep, and interesting! Thank you for your videos!
welcome home to God's country 🙂 I've lived in Wales my whole life (60 years this March) and could never leave. I love the sea and the mountains too much. I live in Swansea but spent some time in Rhondda at the Poly of Wales as it was back then 🙂 Also my maternal family is from there (Pontygwaith / Ynyshir) and I remember visiting as a child. Going over the Rhigos, Maerdy or Bwlch mountains was a magical journey, and then visiting my Aunty and seeing the pigeons they kept on the mountainside. All wonderful.
You are a master of film making, that video was stunning with great attention to detail. Thank you for taking me up that mountain, my old knees wouldn't have been at all happy and thank you for all the work and skill you put into this film making every minute absorbing.
Sean, I am so happy for you, what an incredibly beautiful place to live and such awesome walks on your doorstep, I had a big smile on my face watching this, Mother Nature brings such solace ay. 🙏 blessed be.

Hi Sean. Great to see you back in Wales. I’m from Swansea but now living in County Donegal, Ireland for the last 5 years. I do love the Rhondda, my Dads side of the family worked on the markets including Pontypridd and Merthyr which I loved as a kid back in the late 70’s and 80’s. I love your passion for Wales and the outdoors, your memories of growing up there and the happiness in your voice when you re-tell them. All the very best to you as you settle back in to the Valleys.
