- Shift Up's Stellar Blade's gameplay looks interesting ever since its showing during Sony's State of Play in January. Coupled with the recent demo and the lack of big first-party PS5 titles for the rest of the year, its gameplay is shaping up well.
However, there's a lot more to the hack-and-slash action-adventure. Despite the modern action game's inspiration, combat is methodical and challenging, though there's plenty of room for flashy evades, special attacks and finishers.
Stellar Blade launches on April 26th exclusively for PS5, retailing at $70 and promising a 25-hour campaign. Here's everything you need to know about it before jumping in. - Ігри

This is the most I’ve ever played a demo. The combat feels very good.
I kept forgetting it was demo a few parts. I’m still about 25% thru just grinding SP exp for skills and learning the combos and just admiring Eve’s aesthetic tbh

Couldn't be happier. The demo was great. The combat is deep and well executed. There's an actual story, it seems. Eve is beautiful. Plenty of secrets, too. I've played through it 3 times now, and each time I've found something I missed the previous time. It runs smooth as butter. Wouldn't be shocked if this ends up being GOTY. Anyone find the key for the chest in Bar 99? As an added bonus, the game pisses off the kind of people I like pissing off. Three Thumbs Up.
I’ve also played it 3 times! I’m obsessed. And it seems that’ll unlock after the full game is out, I’ve seen many others ask the same unfortunately.
I know a guy that has spent 30 hrs on the demo alone 😂
I already like Eve as a character way more than Bayonetta 🤷♂
Also, this game is number one in pre orders on the PlayStation store pretty much everywhere. I think its going to be the next big IP for PlayStation.
If you don’t fight the last boss in the demo yet (not the boss rush, the parking lot lightning dude), you can keep getting SP to unlock all of Eve’s skills that are available in the demo (except for the locked skill trees and the skills with the lock and an X on it). After you fight the last boss, it saves your progress for the full game when it comes out.

It launches on april 26th. The demo was march 29th.

Trading Spider-Man 2 for this game. Played the demo and the gameplay just feel like a breath of fresh air. The music, the parry mechanics, Eve's quick movements, Shift Up definitely has a classic in the making here
I traded Spiderman two almost immediately after beating it I hated it so much it was the most woke game I've ever played it was such a disappointment writing and story wise compared to the first game and they are trying to replace Peter Parker as spider man for dumb ass miles Morales who was created in like 2014 as a diversity Spiderman I hate it just make a new super hero that's black if you want don't take a beloved superhero and race swap them out it's disrespectful and there's an annoying pattern of it being done to white characters in the industry and they also replace beautiful women with masculine or just plain ugly or plain looking ladies these trends are creatively bankrupt and because there heavy trends in the industry there also everywhere and gamer's are noticing and getting sick of it.
@@thatguyfawkes2328it was the biggest disappointment of 2023. The replayability isn't there, and they nerfed Peter. I mean he's the veteran of the 2 Spidermen for goodness sake.
Stellar Blade tho is something special in the making. April 26th cannot come fast enough
@@moecgaming Also did you notice the first game like in Spiderman comics and TV shows and movies Spiderman helped the cops out a bunch but the sequel took out all the police aid missions from the first game and you didn't even interact with the police at all in the sequel and that was on purpose same with replacing Peter Parker with Miles and it's due to a company that consulted insomniac game's called sweetbaby inc they ruin and make everything they touch turn into woke garbage.
I agree Stella blade looks to deliver what male gamer's actually want and we shouldn't feel ashamed of it like the journalist yuppy class or as I like to call them smear merchants want us to their mad that they haven't neutered us.
Spider-Man 2 was so woke, ruined the whole experience for me.

This isn’t typically my type of game, RPG, the whole parrying and dodging on time. BUT I’m down bad for Eve, and I did enjoy the demo I played that boss various times till I could get the hang of all the timing correctly. Definitely a good game, can’t wait for release day.
Before you buy: Know that buying this game will do great service towards the gaming community.

I played the demo and was surprised at how fun it actually was. I feel like the game has a ton of potential and I actually really like the combat style and the animations are sick. I looked up the size of the game and it said the story could take around 25-30 hours to complete and 8t could be around 50 hours for 100% completion. I feel like it could definitely be worth the money as long as it doesn't turn into a shooter game.
Haven't watched the video yet but I am really looking forward to the game!!!

Jiggle physics alone worth the $70
If you own a PS5 might as well check the demo out and see for yourself unless you don’t like action RPGs. I’m definitely getting this I was needing something to fill that void that Nier left and although the parry mechanic is definitely something you want to master there are other options, you’re not as locked in to parry/deflect as Sekiro was so it makes for a more accessible approach.
The demo completely sold me on the game. I love the battle angel Alita vibes I'm getting from this title.

One option I hope is added to the Accessibility Menu is the ability to switch the Quick-Time Events from Taps to Holds. I don't want to turn them off completely, but tapping the buttons feels awkward after Spider-Man.

Hopefully they'll fix the water effects for a more organic feel cause in many areas it looks like a puddle forming in mid-air. But other than that I really don't have any complaints.
I also have a small complain, during the part where you supposed to drop down into the water and push those wooden planks to reach the ladder. I dropped directly onto one of the planks, and somehow died it was hilarious 😂
@@ErdingerLi I did something similar but didn't die, more in the effect of merging with the plank for a few seconds and then it corrected itself.

This is what gaming needed tbh. A quick perk up. Playing this is game really feels likes the ps5 controller is being used to full capabilities and also the game setting, aesthetics and characters are peak. Eve is just that girl. I’m sorry, I don’t make the rules. I hope this gets 2024 GOTY

No, she didn't. Watch the 2021 trailer, at the end, she lost her arm and she's getting into a Mech, and the sizzler reel after the first part of the demo reveals we play with her too.
@regaubade8329 She lost her arm and was impaled, would make no sense for her to still be alive, that trailer is also 2 years old so they could've changed things.
As for the reel after the trailer there is a costume that looks like Tachy's in game.

shush. She's alive, she's in a Mech in the 2021 trailer, they are not changing it, she lost her arm, we play with her. She's infected and transforms into an Alpha Naytiba, we fight her in the sizzle reel.
We also use a Gundam with Eve. That's it.

Demo was good but understand that overhyped/over-preorder'd games like this in the past have typically ended up being bad.
Give the game a fair trial, wait for the reviews! Demo was a 9/10, full game may be a 5-6/10.

You don’t need to “feel” anything. The CEO had been very open about playtime. He’s stated the game will be about 20-25 hours main story, with 10-15 hours of side content

We don't know. The demo was mostly to let people try the gameplay. I expect the story will be good.
We don’t know bro, watch the trailers. Only the demo is out, not the full game. But the director said it’s inspired by Nier Automata which is obvious (if you’ve played that) so it definitely will be. Also NIKKE was Shift Up’s first game that had an incredible story too (if you’ve played that, again).

Make one good game, then 'make a different new game' on another franchise - keeping the perfect designs in mind. Let Sweet Baby Inc grab onto a falling franchise bridge each time that's being cut by the ropes each new game. If business models are done this way, these people will have no power to dictate anymore.

@@Rerollful Uncharted, God of War, Spider Man, Horizon, Ratchet & Clank, Returnal, Last of Us are Playstation flagship franchises. All of these franchises have some PS4/PS5 iteration now on PC and HFW just came on PC. It's just a matter of time in most cases, Sony has implied it is not so eager having indefinite exclusives. I'm quite sure some IPs will stay truly exclusive. Don't care about many PS (console) exclusives and don't care about woke Sony that much. Sure, if I would have a lot of extra money, would buy PS5 but PC+Nintendo is sufficient combo.
I'm still going to wait at least a _month_ prior to purchasing. Far too many games bait and switch.
Only thing to know is that Tachy > Eve.
Fix the feedback on perfect dodges and parrys. Otherwise it was great fun
