@hoss I had to replace clutch packs in a differential. Only thing shop had to do was "press" the clutch packs to insert spider gears and press on bearings. Quoted me 150$ I went to pick up and they charged me over 350 ! Said the bearings were 120 which I'm not stupid and know better.!! Do I have a right to their Part store receipts? What should I have done ??? Need advise Pls
I am really sorry to hear that. What most shops do is a 25% profit on most parts. When I had the shop, my parts providers had a recommended sell price for me. Sometimes I wouldn't make any money on the parts because it was a regular customer or for whatever reason. My best advice is if they allow the customer to bring in their own parts, call around and buy them where is convenient then take it to the shop for installation. I live in Arizona, not sure where you are located but I really hate it when sone jerks working at a good shop take advantage of the customers. Wish you the best
@@hoss2200 I later saw it, am also working on same type of Sienna, have loosen all the necessary bolts, but the cylinder is still hard to pull out, did you remove the two 14 Allen key bolts in the middle of the cylinder? There's is two 14mm Allen key bolts bolted down , I tried to loosen it but it is very hard to loose, I didn't see you loose it in your video.

Best diy video guy!
Thanks Hoss!
I just started watching the video, but how many miles did you have on this van when you did this job?
I don't remember. This van belonged to a customer. Wild guess about 188k. It started to leak coolant right in between the head and the block
Thanks Hoss

Where is the part 2 of this video?
It is on my channel. I finished the vehicle but I lost the last part of the footage, when the van was running
