- Alex Sharphouse started with a dream, to recreate Talisman, a Fowler B6 Big Lion Road Locomotive, the ‘King of the Road’ of its era, capable of hauling loads in excess of 100 tonnes. This is an ambitious project, as the last time this engine was built was in 1931 so he was going to need some assistance along the way. With the help of good friend Guy Martin & long-time supporters Morris Lubricants the journey to recreate Talisman could begin. again, longer videos please, these are annoying as hell to watch if u watch em all at once because u get that damned song at the start in your head and 3 videos in you can repeat what the voice over guy says in the beginning

Too short, so little actual build content. The entire process of building the wheel consisting of putting in one hot rivet? Wasn't that shot in the last video teaser of what was coming? The whole videos seem like just teasers to a longer show, but no idea where I might see that.

There's not a lot to these 'clips' is there. Once you get past the repeated intro, which lasts 44 seconds of a short video, it doesn't have a lot of content.
All i learnt was I'm not into how wheels are engerneered. Add Guy and a brew into it and everything interesting again hahaha

Mark Mundy that’s because the locals call it Shrowsbury. (No idea why). I grew up a few miles away from there.
