Corbin plays Usnavi differently than Lin but he's pretty good. Better than I thought he would be. This Vanessa's voice is much too strained. They could have done a little better.
This is actually really interesting! I would’ve pictured Corbin as a better sonny just based on his vocals, but I don’t mind him as usnavi. His pronunciation of some of the words could be improved upon, but I really like his energy as usnavi. I feel like their Vanessa sounded and acted too old and it didn’t have the same effect as the original Vanessa.
I'll be honest. I'd rather see the show with Corbin Blu than with the girl who plays vanessa along side him. She sounds like she's straining her voice with every note. Plus the way she Barrio really urks me for some reason.

I will grant you that some people aren't being nice about it, but just because you can't do something yourself doesn't mean you're not allowed to criticize it. I will have to say this though, that when I saw the entire original cast, each one of them stopped after the show and spoke to us fans and took many pictures; Not that I doubt your experience with them. Who knows, actors live a very busy life. Some days they're up for it, some days not.
