Hey, Just a lil question.. I’ve bought and sewed the georgia top, when I’ve turned inside out the shoulder straps became bulky from the inside (probably the elastic) the front and the back attached but the sidelines of the top is not smooth. (Wish I could add pics here). Any solution ? Thanks !
Can you show a closeup of the elastic foot. When I look for them online there are a lot of different ones and I'd like to get one to make this swimsuit! THanks.
Hi Katie ! I was wondering if you could make a segment or a whole video about how you close the openings you use to flip the swimsuits at the end of the videos. I try to do the invisible stitch by hand and I feel like there has to be a better way. Thank you !
Why do you put elastic on your bathing suits? If you don’t mind me asking? I see other videos and they don’t put elastic on reversible suits. Can you tell me why you do? I love to know the difference 🤗
I just found your channel. I love your stuff! I have 2 children with autism, so being able to make seamless clothing for them is really valuable to me. So thank you! Would you be able to make a bikini top or sports bra with under wire?
I have a question about the straps, but is it ok if we don't sew them down and instead have a tie in the back? I really love those styles of swimwear but I'm afraid that it would ruin the top if I made it that way.
Would you please show us how to do a bandeau style top? 🙏 Not straight across, with a little knot, or twist to create that sweetheart shape (more flattering) 🙏
Yes that's correct! The patterns can be updated regularly but the videos can't, so always go with what the pattern says, even if it contradicts the video!
I noticed that in some of your videos you don't sew the elastic all the way to the end. Do you leave maybe a 5mm without elastic to make it easier to sew the sides? I think that will make the side seams look better. I'm going to try that in the next one I make because the last one I made looks very bulky.
I've devoured the content of your channel in the last week or so and made the reversible bottoms and the Becca top, I'm in love!! Thank you! 🌟🙌🏼
Love the new editing! The video is looking awesome!
Ooooh I love this new method! Can’t wait to try!!

Maybe if you added an extra inch of elastic it would help.

I usually either top stitch or invisible stitch by hand. I agree that there needs to be a better way and I'll think some more on that!

Love your work btw ur awesome
Good job
for those of us without the elastic foot would we serge the material together then serge the elastic on or just use a sewing machine for that part?
Yes! You can break it up in to two steps but regular sewing machines also have elastic foot options so you could do that too!

I love that! Underwire patterns are coming this year!
Edgewater Avenue YES!!!!!!! Thank you!!!
Please can you do my swimwear 🙏🙏🙏
Do you pull on the elastic while sewing?
Where do you find your fabric? It's difficult to find swimwear fabric in cute prints but you seem to do so well.
I’ve found a lot on The Fabric Fairy
Etsy is a great resource!

Yes! A lot of customers choose to tie the straps instead of have them sewn in
@@EdgewaterAve Thank you very much!

hey i have a question how in the world do i make my own like pattern!
Take classes or watch UA-cam tutorials on pattern making and grading. It's a great skill to have, especially for modifying patterns!
Thank'S for the video.
what kind of stitch is she using?

I have the same problem. Do you leave a bit of space without elastic now?
Where did you learn to make patterns?
I'm self taught, I learned from books and online resources! Pattern School Online is a fantastic resource to learn
