- Presenter, commentator, (sometimes masked) singer, footballer, manager and campaigner, Kammy's action-packed career has made him a bona fide British hero. But it hasn't always been plain sailing. After a tough upbringing, in recent years Kammy has dealt with a rare brain condition - apraxia - that has affected his speech and seen him say goodbye to the job he loved. But he never lost hope, nor his enthusiasm for life. As he releases the paperback version of his bestselling memoir, Kammy joins us today to look back on his journey, and the important part Ben played.

#ThisMorning
I recently watched Kami on the Worlds Most Dangerous Roads…he was absolutely amazing…he shared the driving and he even managed to get up over 1000 stairs to the top of a temple and back down…he explained it affected his balance..he is an inspiration…to never give up or give in…what a lovely genuine person he is.
Yeah but I just don't get this condition he's got, "apraxia" why has he developed it all of a sudden? Surely he would've had it years ago when he was younger or is it one of those diseases that you can develop later in life? Like say Parkinson's which you can develop late rin life

If he was still interested I'd love to see him commentate on sky sports again.
On top of his amazing personality, strength of character, intelegence and multiple talents... he was also a working class black man during a depressingly racist era of English society. He suffered loads of racist abuse growing up, and as a pro player.
So he isn't going to act a victim and blame it on racism like most would for monetary gain? That's a shock! Well done!
