It’s just shitty timing that his career coincided with the 3 point/spacing boom in the NBA of the mid 2010’s. He would’ve dominated if he was born 10 years earlier
The revisionist history is crazy 😂 I mean ty is his teammate i get it. Roy was MID, he succeeded because the era of post up big men was dying fast but even then he was over rated like crazy. He shot above 50% ONCE as a big, couldnt space the floor, slow as the titanic, his best year was 13/9 😂😂😂 he had good verticality in the paint and one decent post season run thats it. So many bigs were better at that time, Dwight, Boogie, Lopez, DJ, Horford, Noah, Chandler, Big Al, KG, Monroe, Pekovic, Bosh, Pau, Marc, Bynum, Duncan… the list goes on. Stop it.
For real.Theres a reason he can't get anyone from that pacers squad on his podcast.David West,Lance,George Hill no exactly what went down and aren't fucking with it
The 3pt evolution in the nba really changed the make up of the league. There’s so many guys that would still be playing if there wasn’t such a shift.
I feel like Roy was in a league sooner than what he needed to be this day and age Roy would be up there with one of the greats in this time
You're a comedian
@@meezysquad hate it, or love it he was the truth
people forget he was a two-time allstar in 2012 and 2014
Yes Roy Hibbert best big man in 2011 to 2014 Summer

@@myparentsmostsuccessfulmistake uhhh yea he was.... he was a two-time allstar from 2011 to 2014
He was good for one and a half seasons.
