You will not get flashback from this in photos. Color has nothing to do with flashback, ingredients do. I’ve done this on 1000s of bridal clients with zero flashback.
A white will brighten quicker while using MUCH LESS product than simply using a lighter fresh tone shade
For deeper skin tone:

Oh hey, fellow pale person, hello! One of my go tos is the palest of the Colorpop powder foundations - it's a little dark on me, but a close enough match that I can get it to work reasonably well with enough blending. My other go to that I recently acquired is a REM foundation that's actually a super close match and shockingly not too dark for me, but since I'm frugal and couldn't bring myself to spend $35 dollars on a foundation I basically stalked it until I got it sorta on sale (it was still $35, but I got a normally $10 beauty blender with it, so I was able to convince myself that was good enough, and used my accumulated Ulta points to lower it some more...) If I run out before I can find it on sale again or otherwise convince myself that the splurge is excusable I'll probably just go back to the Colorpop afain when I run out...

I don’t even use concealer - I use the under eye powder on top of a thin layer of my foundation, and it’s flawless. The one I use is by Pat McGrath, I think it’s called under eye setting powder.

I use Laura Mercier Secret Brightening powder to set my concealer under my eyes. It sets well, brightens, and makes me look more awake!

What white powder do you recommend for mature skin? A Lancôme national artist showed me a similar technique. Unfortunately the color is no longer available. It was not glittery just a natural barely there sheen that brightens and lifts. Love your content, passion for beauty and fabulous sense of humor. Thank you!
I truly love the one size powder, but if you want something a little smoother abs creamier, definitely the SHEGLAM powder foundation!

I really appreciate you doing this for us, friend! I have never been very good at a lot of this, and until I reached a "certain age," I rarely used a lot of the products that I see available today. Mostly because a lot of them didn't exist when I was younger and might have learned to use them. I don't wear much makeup for most days, but I always like learning something I never knew before!! *Especially how to do things like this properly BEFORE I do my own Alyce on it and end up hurting my own feelings!❤️
Yes! A lot of makeup artists only talk about the loose powder for under eye. I do this same technique but with the NYX illuminating powder.
Omg so beautiful I love all the pretty blue shades out there but I feel like they only look striking when you have brown eyes. I have very icey light blue eyes and it just washes out my eyes when I use any blue eyeshadows and it wicked bums me out… but look at that blue eye shaws is on him with the brown eyes. Stunning.

These finely milled powders are amazing for setting under eyes! I believe Laura Mercier was the first to produce one for the cosmetics market? I use the one from Pat McGrath, her under eye setting powder - it comes in several shades and translucent (the white one) I highly recommend it

I have never used a setting powder because I don’t wear foundation enough. During the Black Friday I saw the IT white setting powder and face serum duo on sale and I and was able to get it for free with points at our pharmacy. I thought it might be good for setting my under eye concealer and that’s all. When I tried it, it was love at first use. It looked a million% better than setting it with powder foundation. I’m going to try and use it for the other areas now!!

I've been using white shadow slightly on the bottom inner corner of my eye for years. It widens my smaller eyes quite nicely. But people back then used to make fun of me. Comments from people were "omg why do you do that with the white?" And so on....now it's popular so haha to those people who tried to make me feel stupid

Back in the Stone Age, when I was a teenager, barefoot, wearing a leopard sarong, and a tibia for a hair ornament, a company named Bonne Bell made a product called White White. It was a thick, opaque matte white cream that had the same effect. You used very little and patted it in . No shimmer. A squeeze tube of white cream. Amazing stuff. Powder would be so much easier. But I loved White White.
