Calling a Bratwurst in a bun a hot dog - yeah, you're pretty much a deadman if you come back to Germany :D And those fans in Munich pretty much knew exactly what's going on. The NFL has been on a stellar rise in Germany in the past 10 years and is getting really, really big atm
I have a McDonals breakfast maybe once in 3-5 years. If that is close to the overall German average, I can understand the small menu. Germans don't eat fast food for breakfast. We eat Brot.
As a young German me and my friends eat at McDonald's all the time but literally never for breakfast. Pretty unsurprising when everyone has Brot or Müsli at home. It's not just easier but also actually so much better than McDonald's for breakfast.
seeing you talk over pictures and remember stories is an awesome format. ive never been out of the US before so hearing about the culture similarities/differences is really intriguing. cool video :D
When you ask a stranger to take a photo of you infront of a landmark, 99% of the time they will just take a photo of you and crop out the beautiful building or landscape behind so I think the guy actually did a pretty good job here.
Love the experiences man! Super cool that you chose to say goodbye to the lease and experience new culture in a new country every month. Epic man! I traveled the United States a few months ago and I really want to get over to Europe someday, keep it up man! Excited to see the journey!
This made me happy to see you were living in Düsseldorf! I was living in Germany for 2 years and just got stationed back in the US last month. Düsseldorf was one of my favorite cities to visit for the Japanese food. Glad you had a great time and makes me happy to see you enjoyed it there. Safe travels to your next destinations! 🙏🏼
6:25 people definitely know what's going on! There's a huge dedicated following of the NFL in Germany. Rainbolt, know like, hundreds of people have asked you to go to their country and whatnot, but you should come to New Zealand. I feel a lot of places you would love to see, like Cape Reinga lighthouse, and catching/cooking your own fish. The diversity of life in this country is amazing. I haven't lived here 10 years yet and I'm LOVING IT!
Would love to see you in Istanbul, I think you'd like it. It's probably one of my most favourite places to travel to because there's just an insane amount of things to do. It's also got some extremely rich and interesting history, if you're into that, so I'd suggest getting a good tour guide during the first week. (Oh btw you can also rent a large yacht tour around Bosphorous for really cheap)
American Football is actually relatively big in Germany I personally love it my hometown Braunschweig is the most succesful team in our league the GFL (German Football League) having won 12 titles. And Munich where the game was obviously held theres the München (Munich) Cowboys.
1:52 "Everything is so much Bigger" was kind of surprising to me, usually from the things I've seen for the US, people say "everything in the US is so much bigger" with 4 gallon bottles of Soda or stuff like that. Pretty interesting.
3:23 an interesting thing about Google Street View, for quite some time Data privacy Laws in Germany kept Google from covering Germany in Street View, even today if you zoom out and click on the Street View Guy Germany is nearly empty compared to the rest of Europe. Excuse the Spelling my German Grammar is making me capitalize a lot of Words. (which is also not perfect so it's a bit of a mess)

Calling Bratwurst HotDogs really is an insult to any german

At least in Vienna you can have hotdog with any kind of Wurst? A Bratwurst Hotdog is a normal thing to me.
