Rick spends the first video bitching and moaning about how there's no games, just boxes etc etc. Lowballs the guy due to no games, then the second video is them celebrating this bargain haul they got, it was disgusting.
I dont understand why these things keep going up in value? Reminds me of when all the trading card people got together and started shill bidding and getting PSA 10 grades on rare cards. I think something stinks and most people dont have the extra money to buy retro games now. Sad thing is when all the collectors go to trade them in to sell and get destroyed on the money they put into it. Just buy games to play and stop trying to make it an investment. They are a registered business. So he could technically call himself a CEO if it's something like an LLC. Most resellers who own homes are at least a LLC. I forgot what chase said but a long time ago when I somewhat thought he wasn't well hellspawn, I remember him saying that he has some form of a registered business.
It's more of a way to protect oneself from getting sued and losing everything they have. Also a way to not get as screwed if you make an accounting mistake. Sometimes intentionally which makes sense with most of these people. Resellers can be registered businesses which u know isn't something most people think resellers can be.

Clearly, you don't understand how Whatnot works either anyone who has used the app at all will agree. I started on Whatnot with zero following and had success. Many people buying on his Whatnot aren't fans of his UA-cam channel they're just people on the app shopping. " he's not even there during the stream" he created a real business with employees he's entitled to the benefits of that.
I've seen screenshots of people selling the stuff they bought from him for $500 so you're partially right about people not necessarily being his fans attending his auctions. But they could also be fans/subscribers that use him just like he uses his fans.

Hmm interesting. Making a business on his own would be the only way he could be rewarded such a role.
I honestly think of him more as a persona/actor now.
It's more of a way to protect oneself from getting sued and losing everything they have. Also a way to not get as screwed if you make an accounting mistake. Sometimes intentionally which makes sense with most of these people. Resellers can be registered businesses which u know isn't something most people think resellers can be.
