It's crazy that Wan Shi Tong called Sokka dumb because of the knot when Sokka's gift of knowledge was the only one he came up with himself. Everyone else just gave things they found, bought, or were given. None of it was their knowledge. It was someone else's knowledge they happened to come across.
@@samariyasgafoor8809 That's not the point. My point was not to gauge which piece of knowledge was most valuable, it was to point out that it's weird for Wan Shi Tong to call Sokka the dumb one, when his was the only piece of knowledge that actually required intelligence. Everybody else could have been dumb as bricks and they still would have been perfectly capable of giving their gifts of knowledge to Wan Shit Tong.

Aang tearing up finding out that Appa is gone always gets me. Appa is literally one of the only beings he knows from his time before getting frozen, the other being Bumi, who is now a King and a very old man, so losing Appa isn't just losing their mode of transportation, it's losing a friend. This isn't the batmobile going missing, this is Alfred going missing.
Is it possible to increase the volume of the video? We also want to watch and listen with you. Since you didn't react to the Owl, that means you didn't continue watching Netflix's Avatar 😅
This episode ALWAYS infuriates me because of what that owl has done! Because *NONE OF THIS* WOULD'VE HAPPENED IF HADN'T SUNK THE LIBRARY IN THE PLACE!!!!! 😡😡 But since he did anyway, he let those sandbenders take Appa away! Appa's been stolen and it's all because of _that_ *STUPID* bird!!! 🤬💢 IT'S ALL HIS FAULT!!!! Anyone 100% agree with me???
I can see things from Wan Shi Tong's perspective. He tries to create and share knowledge with humans and all they do is take his knowledge so they can get rich or take advantage of other humans. The spirits don't usually deal with humans because humans are so greedy, aggressive, and arrogant. And, spirits don't need the humans at all. So, I'm not mad at Wan Shi Tong at all. Sokka should've been more decreet or they could have tried explaining themselves beforehand.
They promised that owl something and immediately broke that promise. And they weren't even the first ones to do that. How would you react if someone does that to you - in your own house?
Lmao, what? How the fuck was Wan Shi Tong supposed to know about Appa getting kidnapped? Besides, it's his library. He can do whatever the fuck he wants with it. And he set very specific rules for them to follow, and they broke it.
This spirit has seen all human history so he knows how futile most wars are. If you think about it, all countries are built on one smaller entity like a town or a region which swallowed everything around like Rome was only a city before being an empire. In the avatar world, all the nations exist because of some wars so the fire nation only does what everyone else does before. Appa will be stolen before the gang get out of the library whatsoever but if someone is to blame, it's Sokka who tried to deceive the spirit.
Fun fact: Owls can rotate their heads almost 360 degrees to make up for not being able to move their eyes.
The lost Apa arc begins gonna be hard times not having easy transportation.

Yea but the others were documents that contained knowledge much more valuable he just wants knowledge he doesn’t care where it came from
People don't OWN knowledge. If I learned English as a second language, it's still knowledge that I have, even though I didn't come up with it myself.
